NSX is the only real alternative, although you might need to get used to shifting gears a tad early (haven't tried a race with the NSX so I can't say if it can last the distance going without saving).
Try the lexus with short shifting. Does use the front tyres up though

That's exactly why I didn't want to suggest the Lexus, the FR Gr.4 cars in this new tyre model use the fronts way too quickly. MR Gr.4 cars offer more balanced tyre wear.

Is it just me experiencing the Ice roads on Interlagos? I'm so slow but every single corner I just understeer through no matter what. I have almost no grip in the front wheels. I've tried around 10 cars so far. I'm not a slow racer so I know it's not me lol

I'm having the same problem in race A at Willow Springs, turn the steering wheel and nothing happens! I've had to resort to steering the BMW with the throttle, but that doesn't make for a particularly fast time.

I had no problems yesterday driving the Ford. Qualified with 1:31.5 running 1:31.7 - 1:32.0 in the race.

Try setting BB more to the rear i think i was running +4.

Just had the funniest pit manoeuvre attempt in final lap. He tries to pit me, but ghosts instead, then tries to ram me off but fails even at that :lol:

I've just come back after a long time away.

Ended up powering it off in a rage quit. Too many changes too far as far as I am concerned, especially with "daily" races becoming weekly.

Got hit twice at Interlargos from behind and pushed off the track only to incur an off-the-track penalty on both of the those occasions. Too much.

I don't think I'll be back.

It's not my brake balance, it's happening even in t3 when you should be accelerating. I spend most of that turn off throttle to ensure I get round. Fastest lap of 1:36 and that is me on the limits. I'll try again later see if things improve. I normally lap high 31's at interlagos on gr3 dailies so i know i'm not just being crap lol

Ok thats weird then, hope PD didnt break the game.

I really thought driving in lobbies with A, A+ and S drivers would improve the quality of racing. Or so I thought lol.

Those guys are dirtier than any B lobby I’ve ever been in. Divebombs in every corner, shoving you out of the way etc. Interlagos is a demolition derby with those guys.

Race 3 Nurb GP.

Fun little race, qualified 7th finished 3rd, all clean racing although I did manage to mess up braking lap 9 turn 1, somehow found a gap to dive through without ruining anyone's race.

I just had a weird experience on race A (no replay)

Two guys were being dicks and went off track and I overtook them. Coming into the first bend I brake normally and one of them comes from 2 seconds back, doesn’t brake at all and smashes into the side of my car knocking me off track. I get a 3 second penalty and after the race I get a red S and he doesn’t even have a penalty and gets a blue S

Do you think the game tries to work out relative speeds and if someone is going twice as fast as you (like he was) it assumes you must be brake testing or going to slowly

I had no other contacts apart from that and was just pottering around

Was it a lag spike?

Have you checked your KudosPrime stats to see how much SR you actually lost?

No wasn’t a lag spike. He was clearly quick (within this race) but a pusher/nudger. Just seemed to rage out and must have thought I did something (I didn’t I only overtook cars that had gone off track)

I lost 5 SR and like I said apart from this incident nothing happened in my own race (no rubs, no off track etc)

Then maybe it does, if this is the only incident your involved in, the game has definitely decided your at fault for what happened. Its difficult to be specific without a replay.

I wish I had saved it but didn’t think before pressing the exit button. I was halfway through the turn and when I had started the turn he was just under two seconds behind. It is bizarre but I guess just one of those things that occasionally happens.

I just wondered if people had worked out how to cheat the system because the hit was so unexpected it made me jump

I remember I could brake slightly after the 100 for T3 and easily make the corner. This week I have driven a bunch of different cars and have to brake at the 100 sign at the latest to make it around the corner without stepping on the curbs, which seem to slow you down a lot more since the change. And indeed wait longer to get back on the throttle.

The good thing is, a lot of people still put 2 wheels on the curb, so they're easy to overtake on the inside in T4. (Except those wobbly Fords that cut you off on the inside) I'm not getting below 1:33 anymore though, yet was never very fast on Interlagos.

It's a challenge which I'm actually enjoying. Without qualifying T1 is better, however I have seen fights start on the straight to T1 already and every time there is another non qualifier behind me, he will dive me in T1. I make room and let divers go by as they'll crash the car in front of me 99% of the time.

There's not a lot of respect to be found at Interlagos. I leave room in the first half of the chicance or T3 for a late brake attempt then have to brake extra not to get hit at the apex in the second part or at the apex in T4 after I undercut the late braker. So much useless blocking going on as well. Great job making your car as wide as possible swerving at corner exit to defend 13th place... You could draft me instead. So I have to resort to out braking as well to get past the corner exit blockers. Just make sure you hug the inside so they don't bounce off the track when they bump you from the outside. If I suspect a dive bomb I'll simply brake a little early and watch them go wide.

Of all places last night I reached the 15 consecutive clean races on Interlagos with the AMG while not qualifying and making it up to 4th a couple times. I did get a white and red S with the clean race bonus as bumps are unavoidable when you're in the middle of the pack. You would think people could control their car at SR.S, but no.

The clean race bonus is a lot easier since the penalties have been relaxed, I wonder how far I can get it to go today. It is Saturday though, likely lose it on the first race tonight :)

That's a dream I can only wish for, I can't honestly remember the last time I had more than one clean race in a row...

That's a bit strange. My experience has been when someone charges in like that they ghost and usually go off track. Guess they have changed things again .

That's weird because the lobbies with lots of DR A, A+ and S drivers is some of the best racing I've experienced in any racing game, 99% of people I come across are clean, quick and consistent. Players who are SR A and below are usually the ones who are absolutely terrible at racing from my experience.

Had a few attempts at Race C this week. It was hit or miss. Hit when starting up front. Miss/quitting when starting in the back half.

All SRS races. Top half of the field is very clean. Safe, aware, patient. But the back half is very unpredictable.

If you can't work out of the back in the 1st 2 laps, you probably won't finish. Which is why everybody in the back is aggressively attempting to go fast in, slow out trying to pass every turn. Which slows the entire back field further.

It's not fun in the back.

Depends on the lobby. I’ve seen both types.

Yeah, now that I've done about 15 races today, I have to say the experience differs a lot. The races after my post were much, much better. I still don't get the punt at full speed in T1 though. The guys responsible for that must be doing this deliberately.

Edit: But there are still those guys who keep flashing their headlights behind you if they don’t overtake you after one corner. And then they get mad and do the dirty moves.

In my races, it has been the Slophys conserving, that slows up the field.
Just listen to how soon they shift. Then, they'll brake deep taking away momentum from the faster cars. Which, winds up burning tyres and fuel to try and pass, because other cars are trying to move up as well. This causes all that impatience at the back.

I mentioned before, if the '11 isn't leading, it's like a turd in a swimming pool.

Two viable tactics there.

Ignore it, or

If they look wired let them pass as in my experience they crash off eventually. I like to flash my lights as I pass them back. Even better when theyre facing the wrong way

Working in my Clean races fron last night.

That race B also helps. No qualy is keeping me away from trouble. However, Interlagos isn't much of a crash feast as some other tracks.

Can someone advise me if there is a tool anywhere on KudosPrime or here that allows you to determine
how much SR you can gain/loose from a daily race lobby.

It seems 10 points are currently available for a clean race with no penalties or collisions/off track excursions
so by that reckoning I need to do at least 6 more races to get back to SR 99 assuming no incidents.

Any points for the above would be helpful.
