First race up for me, and I hadn't intended to enter for another half hour. Race C. I went in with the 4C knowing that 'd not set a great time. I just wanted to get a feel for the track under race conditions and see how many idiots were there. Started P14/17 on a mixed grid of DR/C and D.

The race wasn't off to a very good start. a car in front of me stopped and i tried to get past, but the car behind me barged through :crazy:. Luckily he ghosted. I had a similar experience to @05XR8 with getting rammed. I had the same guy ram me 3 times :eek:. He tried for a 4th time, but overshot and went into the sand. He was obviously approaching corners too fast. I then got stuck behind a guy who was having a hard time negotiating the course. I had to really reign back to avoid hitting him, and got smacked off the track by the guy behind me for my troubles :banghead:. I was knocked off twice during the race.

I pitted lap 6 with a couple of laps still in the tank. My tyres were knackered and the suggested gear was 1 less than usual for the corners. I've been noticing a pattern. It seems that Ford GT drivers seem to be thugs in every race I've been in where there was one since it was added to the Gr3 line up. After being rear ended I picked up a penalty which I served on the start/ finish strait on the final lap. I dropped a place and finished P12. I was up to P8 at one stage.

SR dropped 1, DR dropped about 400.
 
Are the races still bugged? Or are they actually working ok this week?
I gave up last week on the Suzuka race due to the auto drive issues at the start.

It seems odd how you get SR down when someone else bumps you. Last night I had someone doing it on every single apex of Suzuka esses, degnar, and then twice through spoon, but NO attempt to pass.

When I first started racing the dailies, if you rear ended someone, both parties got a orange SR. They fixed that so that only the car doing the rear ending got a penalty/orange SR. I think people were exploiting that with brake checks, so they changed it again to the person getting hit getting the penalty/orange SR. Now people are exploiting that :crazy:.

On to race B. I went out with the trophy and qualified P11/16 on a mixed grid of DR/C and D. More like 2nd last when you realise the last 4 places didn't qualify :odd:.

Race starts, no odd cars, and I was hanging in there, till I got too close to the car in front entering the big left hander after first esses. I lifted to avoid hitting him, and lost all my down force, so off I slid to the outside wall. Down to 2nd last place for me! I managed to scrape together some reasonable laps and finish P14.

SR back to 99, DR dropped another 700. <sigh> another day above DR 1.
 
So many issues with online race , cars jumping all over the place , some bad connection sometimes ,cars that at the start start with the speed of light and hit you and no penalty's in Gr4 .
No online for me any more until they can fix this what a mess , had no problem before the update .
 
No it is not possible to race online just try it again in the hope some strange miraculous wonder would come along to fix the issue with online race but its broken .
If you want a kamikaze race your DR SR going down and moral , than it is now the time for it .

Race B - started 4th - had zig zag cars in 3rd and 5th - when it came to race start I was miles behind 2nd - managed to get past 3rd which wasn't going anywhere an then had super speed to catch up with the first 2 cars. I decided rather than cause problems on first corner that I would pull up behind 2nd and the race continued from there.

Zig zag cars were still there for the first two laps.
 
Daily races are just the worst, my DrB should be an A by now. I've started 4 races on pole with my quali time and still had an understanding how I can drop another .5s from my time and this stoically running the gr3 Z4m which is certifiably dog egg slow. However in these 4 races against DrA/B yet to complete a first lap and, paradoxically, yet to make a mistake, unless you check racing against fnuchwits as my mistake. Next stop is build a PC worthy of ACC and go that route!

This is what I'm saying. I understand many people may not have time to dedicate to the game. So, may have been trying this track for the first time. I had A+ and A drivers(I'm B) in one race and half the field couldn't navigate the track. In the B race, It was a Magane Gr.4 Cup, which I joined with my own Magane. That, had D and C players. The next one i used the mustang with way better results. Smoked all but the pole sitting Megane( due to battling with 2nd place.

I know players want to just go racing, but some should really practice on the track, with their favorite car first. If they do and still can't come to grips with the track, I suggest watching tutorials.

Why have you not completed a lap?

Just for you it should read, complete a first lap without incident due to a peer, possibly like yourself, having brake/steering failure

It was very suitable for me to ask. With you only saying you hadn't completed a lap, it suggested you was quitting out of races yourself due to incidents.
 
Yes mate, I got that. In this instance it, unlike the game, was my mistake.

Clearly I need a new proof reader.

Generally I'll go with baseball rules where i'm out after 3
 
Another day. New tracks. Another last place finish. I don't think I should play anymore.

I don't want to turn a mole hill into a mountain. Your pic does it justice. Yes, I went diagonally down toward the apex so the following driver didn't have a Zanardi moment, where he hits the brakes, then releases to push me wide, then gets on the again.

Still, a chop across the track is defensive in my books, not "blocking" as weaving back and forth would be.
 
Last race B, out of 16, 12 cars lined up, out of the 12, 2 started including me, the remainder just glitched for three rounds waiting to start, at the end 9 cars finished although i was only racing with the other dude and passed all the other cars every lap at start/finish....PD really needs to fix this.

I don’t think you did anything wrong, when you’re leading it’s your track to drive whichever line you choose.

If you care the slightest about your ratings then never quit my friend it hurts your ratings real bad.

Havent driven the Barcelona track yet in GTS. Thinking i am gonna have go at it today.

I thought it might happen only after the race starts. Yes it did hurt my ratings Shottah072. I had just passed the 20.000Dr.points with a 99Sr. Yes I went back to 19.000 Dr.points and 96 Sr.
I just don't understand the Dr./Sr. system of ratings in overall. In my opinion if you bump yourself through a pack of clean racers, let's say from 6th. to 2nd. place. He ends up with Red S but increases his DR. points. I find that bad, it's shouldn't be possible to increase your Dr. level if you can't show you get a Blue Sr. That should be an eyeopener for these drivers... MHO. Cheers.
