36.903 Peugeot 908 HDi Team Peugeot (46%)
37.638 Alpine VGT '17 (51%)

Of course the tire model has changed since then, fuel and tire wear are likely different this time and I don't remember if it was the no chicane version, I believe it was the normal layout. Going wide in Tetre Rouge to gain time was also still forbidden. Besides that, I think that was the one time tuning was allowed in the daily C which the Audi benefited a lot from. So it's quite useless really :)
Judging by your fastest laps, I'd say those were with the chicane. Without, I'd say the group C cars and the LM55 will be the forces to be reckoned with (best top speed). I don't think the great acceleration of the hybrids will be able bail them out, without the chicanes.

Oh hey, I was in some races with you on Monday. I think all of my crashes there came at the hairpin, I could usually survive the opening chicane because I was the only person in positions 4-12 who knew what line to take.

The opening chicane is easy to survive. But it happend in the final chicane. Just before the finish. I also had a disconnect, so the dr- and sr drop wasn't only caused in one race. I ll upload a replay if I savef it

I just got +33 SR for one race (I'm probably known as one of the cleanest drivers, worldwide :sly:).
I didn't know it could go that high. Anybody seen more than that? Does anybody know if there's a maximum?

Were you down in SR.D or SR.E? There is a huge boost in SR.E. Jason Guernsey's site has recorded SR gains of over one hundred in a single race. My biggest single race gain was on Blue moon bay

Sat Feb 17 2018 17:25:37 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time) -> DR:7000 | SR:1/99 | Races:1224 1st -> 1st -29 Draft bumping
Sat Feb 17 2018 17:57:40 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time) -> DR:9744 | SR:54/99 | Races:1225 1st -> 1st +53 Draft bumping
Exact same race strategy cost me 29 SR (or more) in SR.C, gained me 53 SR in SR.E.

It cost me 88 SR in SR.S lol
Sat Feb 17 2018 14:54:37 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time) -> DR:37761 | SR:99/99 | Races:1220
Sat Feb 17 2018 15:25:16 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time) -> DR:50000 | SR:21/99 | Races:1221 12th -> 15th -88 Draft bumping
And I got reset upwards to 50K DR. Those were the days!

Yep, you are probably right as I remember it as leap frogging all the way down the straight. No more of that without the chicanes, the 919's will fall quite a bit behind. The LM55 was damn nice through the Porsce curves as well as the TS050.

Dang, I might have dropped too low in DR now. I've been getting into slower rooms in the evening (B/S to D/S, no more A+ and A), which does allow me to make up more positions yet the cost is even more DR loss as it's still only 3 laps. My best lap was down to 2:19 due to traffic. It did not help I missed one race start and got disqualified for not moving, then the next race I couldn't dodge one of the wall bangers and got a penalty, so now my SR was down to 84. Something to fix!

So how hard is it to gain 15 SR in the daily B...

10:10 pm, A/A on pole, down to D/S, mostly SR.A, looks like another slow room, starting 15th. I finished 6th, despite a car losing control in the final lap and taking me out in the chase. I'm the only blue S between a bunch of red down to B. +2 SR and +180 DR. Not giving up hope yet, I'm turning this ship around!

10:30 pm, B/S on pole, rest lower DR, mostly D/S, at least all SR.S. Starting 12th. Finished 5th with fastest lap, despite getting taken out in the chase by a Cayman in lap 1 this time and a TT cup felt to need to bump me from behind after I passed him for SR Down. +1 SR and +120 DR.

10:50 pm, starting 12th again, pretty much same room make up. Finished 6th, fastest lap again. I went off in the chase in lap 1 as I got asked a question at a crucial moment, yet I've learned it's better to answer than to make a corner. +4 SR and -30 DR. SR 91 now, let's see if that changes the room.

11:10 pm, starting 15th, yep it's a different bracket. 4 A+/S at the top, 3 A/S, rest B/S. Fast room. Finished 12th. A Megane is holding me up in the mountain, blocking and pushing when I attempt a pass at the bottom of the chase. It's impossible to pass them on the Conrod straight with their crazy acceleration. I'm an inch from his bumper coming out of Forest's elbow and the Megane increases the gap to 0.6 sec... I can get alongside after the chase, yet that's where he pushed me off the road. The penalty system gave me a shortcut penalty, oh well. +4 SR, -100 DR.

11:30 pm, starting 16th. Damn 6 A+/S at the top! 2 A/S, rest B/S. 2 B/S drop out on loading, I start 14th. The A+/S crowd is not very imaginative, 2 Meganes, 3 TT cups, 1 Huracan. A Megane won. I finish 12th. I got stuck behind a TT cup in 11th place. He screws up Murray's corner and I have to brake hard and let the TT cup behind me through. I pass him in Hell corner yet we are still alongside while I have the run, however the TT cup in front moves over to the right to give the TT Cup next to me the draft, bastard. I pass TT Cup 2 down the chase, however he tries to over take me on the outside after the chase and drives like I'm not there, bounces off me at the apex, 3 sec penalty for me. Then I have to avoid TT cup 1 again at the essess, which means TT cup 2 dives through and I have to hit the wall to avoid him, another 2 sec 'short cut' penalty. -5 SR, +80 DR. Back down to 89 SR.

11:50 pm, lower bracket, A/A on pole, mixed SR.S/SR.A room, starting 13th behind the DR.Ds. At least there are only 2 Meganes and one TT cup in this race. A Corvette in front of me practically stops for the esses, is he expecting a cross walk? I was following at 0.56 sec behind as I did not trust his driving yet even that gap was too small to avoid someone stopping for the esses, 2 sec penalty for me. The corvette tries to block me later down the chase, yet misses and drives himself off. I finish 8th. -6 SR, -90 DR. SR 83, worse than where I started...

12:10 am, mixed SR S/A room, A to D DR, starting 14th. I get stuck behind a Megane again. He screws up yet blocks in time. Even though I get a much better corner exit out of Forest Elbow and initially close the gap by over 100 msec, the Megane simply out accelerates me again to increase the gap temporarily. I catch up and get alongside after the slight right, then the classic Megane move, push me out of the way. I don't want to risk a penalty for him bouncing off me so I let him. I finish 8th behind him, +4 SR, -15 DR.

12::30 am, mixed SR S/A room, A to D DR, starting 15th. A car loses control at Hell Corner at the start and takes me out. Despite that I finish 10th with the clean race bonus! +5 SR, -250 DR. At 92 currently, back in the fast room?

12:50 am, no A+, Two As, down to Cs, all SR.S, starting 14th. Messy room. I'm following close behind double lane traffic, however the TT cup behind me shows no patience and starts bumping me. I tap the wall to give him a penalty as I don't want his SR Down. However that lets another car through, fine. The TT cup messes up so I pass him. He then bumps me again, this time into the wall in Forest Elbow. I decide to stay behind now, too messy. I finish 13th as one car gets bumped off in the final turn. 80% of the room, the entire backfield but me have red ratings. No longer all SR.S. +2 SR, -900 DR

01:10 am, 2 DR A, mostly C, couple B and D, all SR.S, starting 13th. Disconnected from network right at the count down :banghead: -5 SR, -900 DR.

01:20 am, Sarthe intermezzo, room of 10, one DR.A, 5 DR.D and some B, C and one S, all SR.S, starting 9th. I finish 4th, quit out asap and miss the Panorama race by a couple of seconds FFS. Since a car tapped me from behind, forced me off in the Porsche curves and bumped me again in Corvette, -1 SR +200 DR.

01:40 am, Hopefully this Sarthe race loads and finishes faster, or I'll quit out before the finish. One DR.A, one SR.A in the room. rest the usual down to D/S, starting last in 9th. I would have finished 4th yet drop out right before the finish and sign up for Panorama with 25 seconds to spare. Hopefully I gained enough SR during the race not to drop further. -3 SR, -600 DR. Down to 85 SR.

01:50 am, mixed SR S/A room, A to D DR, starting last, 13th. I get stuck behind a bunch of tourists. They brake in such odd places (photo opportunities?) I stay well behind. I attempt a pass at Hell Corner yet one tourist totally ignores me. I am right beside him and he bumps me hard into the inside grass. Penalty for him, I guess I'll stay behind. A mustang keeps swerving in front of me unsure of where to brake. He goes so slow and wavy through Forest Elbow that I can't get a run on him. Yeah, not trying to out brake him either or go side by side. I finish 9th +4 SR, -300 DR.

02:10 am, Oh an A+ is back and 4 DR.A, all SR.S, 4 D/S as well, starting 14th. No tourists this race, I dodge the wall banger and the lawn mower, then get stuck behind a dueling Megane and Corvette. At least they are not that slow and I can drive in the 2:16s. Eventually the Corvette loses it and I finish 8th. +5 SR +50 DR.

02:30 am, A+/S to D/S again, starting 13th. I pass a M4 on the mountain straight then the Huracan up next messes up at McPhillamy park and starts fishtailing down Skyline. I have to slow down to a crawl to avoid him, his car won't ghost. The M4 catches back up and messes up his approach to the Dipper making me flee into the grassy bit on the outside to avoid his missile, watching him like a hawk in my mirror. As thanks for preventing a collision he punts me off at the chase. He falls back as I catch up to the Huracan which gets in trouble at Skyline again. This time I manage to get by. Now I have clear road ahead as I've lost so much time I'm 28 sec behind the leader. A clear last lap, finishing 11th. +4 SR to 98. -500 DR.

02:50 am, A+/S to D/S again, starting 13th out of 14. One D/S behind me, one A+/S in front of me, interesting. The A+/S doesn't know how to adjust behind slow traffic and first messes up at Hell corner then crashes in the cutting. I pass him yet now I'm behind the slow drivers while the A+ catches back up. It doesn't take long until he bumps me for the unnecessary SR Downs. I keep my head cool and pass the slower drivers staying ahead of the A+ while building a gap on him. I finally have a decent best lap 2:14.7. Finish 9th +0 SR, -10 DR.

03:10 am, A to D DR, A to B SR, uh oh. starting 14th out of 15. Messy, scary race. I get right in the middle of traffic in the esses due to ghosts merging back in. Somehow I manage to avoid everything, yet still get hammered from behind once, luckily no SR Down. The rest of the race involves dodging several lawn mowers. I finish 6th, unscathed, in front of a swathe or red ratings, clean race bonus! Back to 99 SR!! +300 DR. Now at a flat 15K.

To gain 15 SR took 5 hours and cost about 4K DR. 15K DR getting closer to DR.C. Perhaps it's time to qualify...
We ran a couple of races on the mountain together last night. I believe I was starting about 9th place in the 2-3 races. Every race I was expecting to see you come flying by, but after seeing the results at the end of each one I knew it had to be pretty rough at the rear of the pack.

i don’t know about gains, but it was either my first or second sport mode and I was sr s.

I was at 31 (C) and went to 64. That result is the only reason I did race C. Feb 17th was a pretty wild day for you! +53 and -88 is pretty amazing. I figured someone could go from 99 to 0, but didn't know you could gain 53.

I'm thinking the Gr.1 cars at Lemans with no chicanes will produce some pretty spectacular wrecks. :banghead:
Also, I think with the right car, you should be able to rack up a few wins without qualifying. It'll be one stop, for sure, right?

Last time we had Gr.1 @ Le Mans No-Stop was the Meta. No chicane definitely gonna be No-Stop

How can you practice before the races start?? Somehow in another drive mode - not in the track learning mode because the cars are fixed.

I am scared to do anyraces this week ... and my fastest practice for Bathurst was 2:15.13 in the Megane... a car I hate, and in the Benz (a car I like) etc its in the high 16s and also its easy in rear drive to cock it up quite a lot - for me at least. I am a B driveer currently 25500 points, 99 SR ... but before Christmas I had some races and went from 28800 to my current score due to bumps and my desire to race with cleaner drivers - i had feared a re-set as my SR went to almost C and I was not enjoying the attitude of some. When I race with those who don't worry about bumping etc., if i get pissed off and defend, then while my DR goes up, my SR tumbles. So now, I'd rather not race than ending up being re-set ... and I reckon from the sound of it if I race at Bathurst in th Renault, it will likely be with a heap of them all at 2:13 to 2:18 and I'll surely be meat in the sandwich in what sounds like a bumpfest. Shame as I had raced at Bathurst with GR.3 cars previously and learned to love it.

I am even tempted to race at Blue moon coming up - I have earned most of my car money there in the English kit car and I get 150% bonuses and have won 100 races earning money that way, most with the income bonus to I think 375,000 anda huge experience bonus. I reckon I should know that track by now ... I have always driven there with the rear view too (the one place I have done that) because if someone touches you the loss in bonuses is huge there, and the rear view assist in seeing cars come from you blind corners.

Well, I just finished up on my one race b today. Plus 4 sr with a bonus 600dr. Back to sr 98. My gosh it’s scary to go below 90. This week was my second time...But my run of bad luck changed to good tonight and I am enjoying the heck out of it.
So, total for the week is maybe 17-18 race b. All in the vette. Tonight’s finale was gifted but I’ll take it. Started 8 in a very solid room. I didn’t hit my turn in right on the cutting so I went wide and corrected on the wall getting a 1.2 penalty. Luckily I had gap and didn’t slow down 9th who I think was a touch slow at griffins bend.
So he’s one me but I’m nailing everything up to Mcphilamy where there’s been an issue up ahead and a car is coming off the grass side by side under the bridge so, seeing this I was already lifted slightly and it was a Huracan that got contact and was on leftside wall going, but slowly trying to get into the dipper.
I did my best not to hit Him but he was literally right in the line on the dipper without speed with myself, and the whe field right there.
I was waiting for him to ghost!
No ghost and I had to gas it and bump him down the road and go by. Even though I gassed it I was still rear ended a bit but got by now into the downhill left onto Conrod with the whole sr s field stacked up.
I nailed it and pulled away from the sea of Megan’s and Tt.
I have to admit it felt really good not being pressured on Conrod so I could settle in on the chase.
So anyhow lap 2 I hit a clean low 15 and lap three on Conrod I am drafting sixth, but no real intent to be stupid.
Funny thing someone else pulled that nonsense and picked up 3 spots before the end with those cars ghosted and rejoining.
I burned my pen at the line for .9 and still ran high 15.
I like the gr3 vette a ton but I never gave the gr4 much try till this week. I dig that thing. I love the way both those cars handle. They have a lot of potential.
So net for race b sr from 99 to 87 and now 98. Not bad as I collected solid dr even though I gave up 1500 in race a.
Life is good. This beer tastes exquisite right now. I almost lost faith with my sr drops but I put in so much time on the track I knew I could stay clean and get my sr topped up again after the bad luck. (Ok 98 almost)
This week has been a gt odyssey for me and yes. I’ve put way too much time into Panorama, but it’s so good when you get a bit of it’s flow.

Stay thirsty my friends

The races this week don't grab me.

A-Crapshoot
B-Guess which corner the car in front sucks at! Win a penalty!
C-Wide, ever changing lines as tyres degrade. Somehow lose SR.

What's up with all the CSA on Race C? is that the new Meta for Gr.2?

I often use CSA, i would prefer not to, but then i am slower than others, so to lvl the playing field i enable it, especially in tire wear races. Of course it is banned in the FIA races since it is one of those aids that over a race does yield an advantage, even with the best drivers.

I had a reset this week from A/B to C/D, thanx to a few mistakes but als because of some...well...you know. Now, i'm racing again today and something strange is happening. I was @fuji, pole and leading after 1st corner. Then a guy tabbed me twice and i geot a warning that after 1 more collision, i'll be disqualyfied. And off course it happened. I never had such a warning and i dindn't hit annybody. Now i'm D/E. Does annybody can give some info please?

Well I finally had to get my own PS4 today, I had been sharing with my son before but he got a couple new games for Christmas and it was clear I was gonna need my own. So I’m starting over from scratch for real this time, I’ve been working on beating all the offline stuff over again all afternoon and evening(after the 3 hour install lol) trying to build up money and cars to be able to go back online and race. I should have missions and driving school all re golded by morning, track experience is gonna take a little longer though. Then it’s back to DR 1 and starting all over again lol, oh well I knew this day would come eventually. My New PSN is Pigems for anyone I had added to my old one(bringerofrain279), or any new people who feel like adding me as well, the more the merrier. I Hope to see you all back out there again soon :)

That’s awesome. A friend of mine at work is having to share his as well, I’m trying to convince him to just get another one. They’re pretty cheap. Only he has it worse, he’s sharing his with his two little girls...how’s the old man gonna look a little girl in the eyes and say “beat it kiddo, daddy’s got some racing to do”.

Similar situation here but I'm not a huge fan of having multiple TVs let alone games consoles in the house. Not that this kind of thinking makes too much sense these days as there loads of content on youtube, snap, insta, etc. that they can get via phones, ipads, computers etc. For now when one of my kids is on the PS4 thats just a no gt sport day for me. Personally, I'd definitely be playing too much if it wasn't.

She'll be right mate 👍. All you need to do is win with the GTR and then post in the post race comments "yer all a pack of arseholes!"

My one and only race so far this week; couldn't get the complete combo of a Kiwi win in the GTR, so couldn't justify Jim's quote!

Gran Turismo™SPORT_20181229210142.jpg

Tried some qualifying laps yesterday and I just couldn't hussle the GTR around the mountain. Went with the RCZ today and was a second quicker straight away. The RCZ is quick enough to keep the Megane's behind going up mountain straight and it even hits the limiter entering the Chase. Not sure why, but everyone seemed to behave themselves this race .

So I did three races last night. Results are as follows : 2nd for Race B, 3rd and 5th for Race C. My first outing for Race C was very tight the whole way and came down to the last sector. I lost my chance to finish second due to penalties. But the battle was intense, as all three of us were on different strategies and pitting at different times.

You got tagged with the naughty mark. A couple bad races, a reset, maybe people reporting you, and now you have the black spot on your account. It might take a few races on egg shells to get rid of it. It doesn't matter whether you hit or get hit, for a couple races you are not allowed any contact or you will get the DQ warning again. It will go away eventually, won't be easy in SR.E.

All you can do is try to avoid everyone and build up some positive SR. After a couple clean races you will be cleared.

I'm too scared to race and also its been a boozy Christmas period ... no time to play on the GT setup and I can't imagine I'd be a safe bet racing. But I did some laps yesterday - just a few - and today - practicing - for an hour and half. The Peugeot felt good in practice but its top gear was missing - it was hitting the rev limit early on down Conrod - its not slow, but I thought I'd be a victim on the straights. Eventually tried the Megane again, and despite me hating it, its much faster for me - did 5 laps before giving up and ran three sub 1:14.5s in a row and the sectors showed a low 1:13 if I was a consistent driver. Well done on winning in the RCZ as for me at my level, not possible I reckon.

Oh god

I am driving so bad. S to C in a day. Getting pens, going off track and what not.

Pissed off many in a day. Damm. Need to improve.

I'm starting to think there is some hidden tuning settings in the GR2 cars for the daily C race :D - probably did ~400 laps on Fuji and I'm not able to go below 1.29.5XX, even my optimal is at 1.29.2XX and a lots of guys do with ease mid 28s....comparing my time with the top replays, I tend to lose more than a second on the 2nd sector, where I do mid to high 47 seconds, while the top guys do low 46, and I'm really struggling to find my mistake there and I'm at the point it's getting really annoying not knowing where I lose almost a second - on my first sector I do 19.9XX or really low 20s, something like 20.050/100 - and yes, I'm using the soft tyres, so any tips how to go over sector 2? I'm driving at around 210-220kph on the high speed corner and then I think I'm struggling with the next turn which is wide left right after the high speed turn...

What time do you get and what car/brake balance do you use ?

No stop? Ouch. That's gonna be hard on tires. KP says fuel consumption x3 and tire wear x11.

Last time we had Race C with the Gr1s at Cirque du Soleil I did no stops with all four of the Group Cs 👍.

Bugger. I would have loved be be a fly on the wall to see how that comment goes down in a race full of Aussies .

So far for me the GTR was the most comfortable to drive on the mountain and the one I did the best time in. Haven't tried the RCZ. And now on to race report :odd:.

My race today with the Cayman was craptastic to say the least. It had the livery, but I found it a bit of a handfull and I was haemorrhaging time. Couldn't match my GTR qualifying time, so I started with the GTR time... P11/14 with only 3 DR/Ds.

I just did not have the pace with the Cayman and really had no feel for it. I was passed early on and couldn't keep up. Near the end I picked up a penalty for scrapping a wall, tried to burn it off, but wasn't very clever and just as I was about to cross the finish line, was passed. I finished P13 .

SR Blue, DR dropped another 400+ . Last race for the week I'll be running the 'vette. Another day above DR 1 .

Good morning, up early unfortunately, time to race. I only did a few races last night as I was into some natural pain medicine and it's always a bit of a gamble with edibles how strong they come on lol. Advantage of starting last, low chance of hurting anyone. My first race still went pretty decent, couple overtakes, yet the other two I was 2 seconds slower per lap and simply drove behind in the fast rooms. -700 DR over all, 14.3K left. We watched the Howie Mandal stand up gala in Montreal and Westworld season 2, good times.

Now my journey to DR.C continues.

6::10 am B to D DR, S to B SR, it's early. Starting 14th. Meganes and TT cups oh my. One Megane is giving me trouble, a better exit through forest elbow can't beat his acceleration, nor a better line through the chase or Murray's corner. Yet a much better exit through Hell's corner does the trick. I finish 5th, good start! No penalty, blue rating despite two taps from behind, bunch of red ratings behind me, good race worth +370 DR.

6:30 am B to D and S to B SR again. Starting 14th. Panic, where did I put my controller down. I find it just in time while the auto drive countdown is going, phew. A very wobbly Megane Trophy (drunk?) is terrorizing the track. He crashes the car in front of him, I stay behind him until the Chase. I get alongside to pass yet he rams me into the grass, the game gives me a shortcut penalty... I end up in front of him anyway so he punts me at the bottom of the chase, hard enough to get reset. He crashes another car off in lap 2, hits me again in the dipper losing control, then I finally get a clean run on him after forest elbow again. I make the corner down the chase in time for his car to go off without further harming me. He had a nice red B at the end. I keep my blue despite receiving some blows, finish 10th as a poor Megane can't get rid of his 7.2 sec penalty at the finish (yellow flag), -425 DR.

06:50 am B to D all SR.S this time. Starting 11th. A fast guy in an 86, CNF racing, crashes then bumps me twice from behind while I'm behind a slower car. He apologizes after, plus he didn't hit me hard enough to hit the car in front of me, no harm. Then I get behind a Megane again. I get a better exit out of Reid's corner and get on his inside on the pit straight. He seems to be indicating for me to pass on that side, yet out accelerates me and cuts me off at Hell corner. It turns out just to be a granny driving with her left turn signal on. I catch back up and he crashes in Forest Elbow, I avoid and finish 6th with clean race bonus! -80 DR

07:10 B to D mixed SR S/A room. Starting 14th. A McLaren bumps the CNF guy off in Hell corner, then goes wide in the cutting so I can get stuck behind a Megane again, I get alongside the Megane down the chase (had a much better exit onto conrod straight however that acceleration). I take the inside, he's kinda in the middle yet that's where there is slightly more room, He hits me so hard in the slight right that I go into the wall and can't recover in time to brake for the left corner. I get SR down and 1 sec penalty as well. 2 cars pass and CNF catches up for Reid's corner to bump me from behind for another SR Down. The two cars that passed me battle it out over Hells corner giving me a much better exit so I can steer in between them. Next up a Huracan who makes sure to drive exactly in the middle on the way to Quarry bend lap 3, can't pass. He has a penalty though which he decides to serve when I get alongside to the chase. I don't bother to serve mine as I'm 1.7 sec ahead by the finish. I finish 9th, -7SR, -180 DR.

07:30 S,A,B,C,D DR, one SR.A rest SR.S. Starting 13th. A genesis starting behind me puts on the pressure. I pass one car and the Genesis tries to stick a nose in all through the mountain. He's clean and backs out in time, feigning moves trying to unsettle me. I've been racing too long for that to work anymore, but it's great to watch him work in my rear mirror. Meanwhile I get into a battle with a Mustang in front of me. I get the run on him at Skyline and make an awesome clean pass through the esses. He drafts back up down the chase and we go side by side until I get the edge into Reid's corner on his inside. The Genesis is trying to get an advantage out of our battle however can't quite get enough speed on me. Awesome race, I finish 9th in front of these 2 great clean drivers. Unfortunately the other traffic we passed managed to bump me from behind after passing so no SR gained, white S. -70 DR.

07:50 4 A's, an S, 3 D's, 2 SR.A, rest SR.S, starting 13th with 1 bar. Hmm why did my internet suddenly collapse, hopefully it clears up. I'm last anyway. The race starts off with cars jittering back and forth like crazy as if I have a packet scrambler going or something. I stay off the line and keep my distance as I'm probably doing the same on their screen. At skyline it suddenly clears up, all green again, race on. I get stuck behind a GT-R this time. Those accelerate just enough as well not to get a run out of Forest Elbow, the Huracan's acceleration really sucks. Besides that, he's such an early braker he's throwing off my corner exits. Even my slowest in approach makes contact with him in the cutting. I get SR Down, he makes the corner with plenty room to spare. I back off as a way to say sorry and finish 10th behind him. +1 SR, -240 DR.

08:10 It's snowing outside. Peaceful morning, our kids are sleeping over at my parents in law, they will be excited. 3 A's, DR only down to C this time, SR down to B, only one luckily, starting behind me... I'm starting 10th. I get stuck behind two Meganes while the SR.B in a Cayman is bumping me from behind. I pass one Megane when he goes wide in the cutting, yet he tries to close the door late and bumps me into the inside wall, no penalty for me. The Megane ahead is terribly slow through the dipper and Forests so the Cayman dives me in Forest elbow. I avoid the wall after his bump and absorb his SR Down. A miracle happens, he gives back the position on the chase. I wish he hadn't as I'm still stuck behind two more meganes and now the SR.B bumps me off in Hell corner. I get an SR Down again while ending up in the sand. The SR.B drives one more Megane off the road which I pass later down the chase in lap 3. I finish 8th. -3 SR, -60 DR. The Cayman has a red B.

08:30 One A+, 6 As, Bs and Ds to fill the room, all SR.S. Starting 14th. I pas the two Ds before the start line as they mess up Murrays, next car messes up down the chase and I pass him safely on the outside to Murrays, next one messes up the Dipper and decides to serve his penalty straight away, I pass through his ghost, 2 more go off in the chase in the final lap and I finish 8th with a best lap of 2:14.7, finally a fast race. +3 SR, +290 DR.

08:50 5 As, B,C,D representing, one SR.A and SR.B rest SR.S. Starting 15th. The Genesis is behind me again, mr pressure. This time he's not so clean and keeps bumping me throughout the race when I'm behind traffic, throwing several SR Downs my way. 2 dirty drivers are battling in front of me, one gets wrecked. I pass the other who tries to ram me off, more SR Down for me, from Mr Genesis as well. I finish 9th and report the dirty drivers, -9 SR, +70 DR.

09:10 2 As, mostly B, down to D, SR S to B, I'm at 86 SR currently. Starting last, 12th. First a Lexus is holding me up, he goes wide in Forest's elbow and I go by on his inside. That doesn't give me the best exit so he drafts back up yet luckily doesn't attempt a last moment pass. Next a Megane, I get a much better exit out of Hell corner and Quarry bend however his acceleration saves him both times. Not so in the Cutting, I sneak past on his inside, contact free. I finish 6th, +2 SR, +210 DR.

09:30 Wife is up, dog as well. One more before breakfast break. Bunch of Bs and Ds, 2 SR.A rest SR.S. Starting 10th of 11, one DR C Mr bumpy Genesis, behind me. First couple corners go great and I make an awesome pass on a Megane along the outside through the cutting. The Genesis only bumps me once while traffic is all bunched up at the dipper with a slow unsure TT cup up front holding everyone up. I pass the TT cup on the outside down the chase, he tries to out brake me and goes off. Good race, best lap of 2:14.6 with some clear space in front of me. I finish 6th, +1 SR, +110 DR.

Intermission totals, SR 89, DR 14.3K unchanged after all that.

Definitely stay away from Race A or B. Contact is simply unavoidable unless you’re starting last and stay away from the pack. A is always a little dicey
