You, Sir, are a GOD! I haven't been able to beat my 1:52.4...I don't know how I can compete with that!...
In this week's race C, I've done a lot of qualifying laps, and can't get any lower than 132.5...

Like no race driver has ever crashed before...
I was just pointing something out. Not expecting you to over analyse things what is said...
But close wheel and fair racing can happen in GT Sport:
So yesterday, I tried the WRX again at Interlagos. Improved my quali with a time of 1:32.3. Started my race in 9th, but also finished 9th. Saw my DR yet again drop with 70 points this time...
I've also put in a lap for Race C. Set a lap of 1:49.7. Optimal is 1:49.4, so I can still go a bit quicker I think.
That was an interesting race. I dead-centered a cone, and went airborne. I'd say I caught a good 10 feet of air.I just saw sturk0167 at Fuji. He started 4th, I started 5th. Unfortunately he caught a tire and I was able to pass and gain a spot. He almost caught up at the end, probably cut the gap in half. Yes I was checking the rear view the whole time.
Anyways, I finished 4th. Gained 1 position. Clean Race bonus.....and 4 DR points. lol. Not complaining. Just thought it was funny. 4 points.
Um...... Yeah. Technically, what I said was correct, but I also cannot get below 1:52.5 (I was thinking of Interlagos). You, Sir, are a GOD! I haven't been able to beat my 1:52.4...I don't know how I can compete with that!![]()
I feel your pain with Suzuka. Maybe we should race there. I'll pass you in Dunlop, and you can watch me touch the outside edge as I turn into Degner and loop it!while what I said is te

Sorry chief, didnt mean that, in lost it.
Man, racing in the day is gold, behaviour is outstanding.
Was I too polite at 7.30? It was a race long battle between us, i gave him a nudge on lap 2 and let him re-pass as thought it unfair but was all over him for a lot of the race. At 7.30 I could have gone for it but decided it was too risky.
Thoughts?
It took me a little while to get used to the wheel but as I got faster and more consistent I realised it was the braking that I was losing out on. Perhaps it is easier for young players who don't drive on public roads but in a real car you brake easy and gradually (on the road not track). When using a DS4 a twitch of the finger is effectively slamming on the brakes so you don't realise you are doing it. I chose the G29 specifically because it had good pedals for the price and I am impressed. Having watched a replay of a Gr3 race at Interlagos I from a few weeks back however I reckon that to be as aggressive on braking as I was with a controller I'd need to put my foot through the floor. Perhaps I'll make up the speed on being smooth and consistent, where the controller is more point and squirt. If you are not already, left foot braking is of course best...though you are already faster than me.
As for automatic, I drive both auto and manual in RL (for a lot more years than someone who plays racing games should admit) so the thought process involved in changing gear is second nature.
Race A this morning qualified with a 1:32.964 in the TT Cup.
Started 8th. Was all going nicely making up quite a few position as a result of other people’s mistakes. I see one guy constantly dive bombing every corner. He takes out 3 people on T1 lap 3.
The beginning of lap4 sees me involved in a 3 way fight for 3rd place. The dive bomber comes roaring up and takes us all out at T1 and I get a 3s penalty to add insult to injury!
Then I had to deal with an angry German driver who was probably mad at the divebomber but decided to lash out at the wrong people and divebomb me at every corner.
Ended up 7th and down to SR C. I want to get out of SR B hell!

If you're running 1:32.9's then just drive away from everyone and get a clean race bonus!![]()
I think that one depends on the situation. In that case if that guy was a jerk I’m taking his inside anytime I can, if he were not, I probably would have tucked back into the faster line behind him sooner and tried to get a run into the next brake zone. Had there been someone on your tail you would have been a sitting duck. I don’t drive the Aston, so hard to relate cars, but in the vette generally I try to pull em on the straight.
He was good to race, very good to race, so maybe i did the right thing as I am not great through that corner.
The Aston is MONSTER through S1 and S3 at interlagos, i am baffled more folks don't use it. only the Mustang hangs with it on the straights and it has far better brakes than the Ford IMHO. It struggles a bit in S2, especially changes of direction but I view porsches with glee as i gobble them up in from the last turn through to the tyricky left at the end of S1.
I managed a 1.31.6 in the SLS. Try +2 break bias. 3rd gear for T1, 3rd gear for the turn-in into 4th gear midway through Ferradura to cancel out the oversteer.I've been lapping Interlagos for 55 minutes in the SLS trying to improve my quali time, and then decided to switch to the Huracán and, after watching gilles_honda_v12's lap, I was finally improve my Race B time to a 1:31.893.
I also watched an older race in daily race at Interlagos with the controller. The biggest problem I have with braking with the pedals is consistency. I noticed in the controller replay that I could hit my braking points lap after lap. Being inconsistent in a race becomes a problem even when starting from pole. I'm thinking about getting the load cell mod because I think it might help.
I am left foot breaking. First thing I did to the pedals was move the clutch and brake pedal to the left to create more space between the brake and gas pedal. Can I ad you on PSN? GTS only keeps a top 10 of the fastest drivers and people in your friends list and I'd like to compare my times to others with similar pace. Am also interested in seeing how another new wheel user progressesMy PSN id is: Quin_slowcom
Had a short go at a fast lap without tcs in the lexus RC F GT3. 1.33.551
