The TS050 can't go the entire race on FM1. I ran out of fuel near the end of the last lap so you'll have to go down to FM2 once you're off Mulsanne straight.
I usually finish the race with about 0.3 laps of fuel. For my race pace I tend to slow a little earlier on the back straights by cruising in and be less aggressive on the throttle when out of these high speed corners. It might have helped me save a little more fuel for the final sector of corners.

Second race was another good one. We lost a few people by the start so it was down to 8 or 9 in the room. I went from 2 to pole cuse of this, yay? lol Had a good clean battle which i lost finally on turn1 lap 4. He got a penalty on the last turn so i got the win, hollow victory. It was a great save on his behalf tbh, not sure where the penelty came from. It's amazing the racing that you can do when you trust your competitor

Just watched your replay...slow day at work. You're pretty much driving it like I do, though a bit faster. You do run a higher gear through the Porsche curves, I downshift under throttle for the right hander up the hill, leading toward Corvette. Probably uses more gas than your way, but still, no problem. I don't even look at the fuel display since it always makes it easily. I watched what you do into Indy, you definitely make time on me there. The only place that I saw where I may be making time on you is into the second chicane on the main straight. I started shifting down to third rolling in, and don't hit second until the turn in to the right. It seemed to speed up my entry and help keep people off my bumper there. I'll be trying to improve my time tonight, and trying the 908. I'll have to re-set my G29 to switch displays with the wheel, and change settings with the up/down button if I can. Changing settings with the wheel is a PIA since it only works when going straight.

I was doing the same thing in the Porsche curves until I watched one of the top replays and saw that they stay up in 5th, I do it mainly to lower the risk of a spin out through the high speed corners due to the lower rpms. Thanks for the tip about the second chicane, I’ve been struggling with that one so I’ll give that a go today. :)

For button mapping I have up/down arrows to cycle through options and left/right arrows to turn each option up/down but your right that it’s a pain to use anywhere but the straights, though that’s probably a good thing, it’s hard to focus on anything but driving everywhere else.

I made the switch in the chicane because when I was going in using second, I would find that my speed was slow enough that I would go off the inside of the right hander, and have to correct with steering. Now it feels like I'm braking into the right hander, with a quick shift to second, just like I would in any other second gear right hander. I find a lot of places to gain time by watching myself from the car behind.

My fear of getting a GT Planet member in a race just happened. Fuji, @VolkswagenX on pole with me in 2nd. He led from start to finish. There was never any point where I challenged him...L1 T1 would have been it with my Scirocco getting better speed on the start than his Huracan but I was terrified I’d hit him. In fact, I think I was so nervous about hitting him I messed up a lap and lost a spot. Good race, congrats on the win and great to see you on the grid.:gtpflag:

I was so scared, I kept looking at my rear view mirror thinking "don't block to much, leave him space or he will think I drive dirty"
Here is the video from my perspective and I hope to see you on the track again soon:cheers:

@sturk0167 I found a jump on Le Sarthe, it’s a little unorthodox but it works

Two laps in a row now I’ve been ahead of my 23.3 time only to hit that cone and go flying, let’s see if I can make it three! :D

So, yesterday I did a race in the GT-R where another GT-R ended up going at 124 mph/200 km/h into T2, then perfectly running wide before stopping completely dead, and then that GT-R got disconnected. Ran away with a victory on that one.

Come to today and I was doing the fastest race times ever thanks to consistency (sadly I'm still horribly inconsistent in the hotlaps). The first one is with the Willans TT Cup, where I again ran away with a victory with me doing high 1:41s throughout the race (bar the first lap). Then I celebrated my 80th Sport Mode win with a Mégane Gr.4 liveried in a Renault F1 livery by @05XR8, again running high 1:41s for a total race time of a 6:53

So I am sat here by my laptop and console frustrated as I will ever get.

After loosing all my DR multiple times in recent weeks I set myself down this morning and redid qualifying for all
three races.

Race A: 0::56.459
Race B: 1:42.707
Race C: 3:23.194

Now it won't match make me with a D group of drivers! Have I done too well with my qualifying or is it just random luck
with the servers?

It's frustrating because I am no better than I was when I was running with my slower qualifying times.

Not really, because while your DR is not so high, you are fast:

At 3:23.194, this is how you rate across quicker Euro countries:

Belgium: 12th Fastest
France: 68th Fastest
Germany: 90th Fastest
Hungary: 2nd Fastest
Italy: 61st Fastest
Netherlands: 24th Fastest
Norway: 2nd Fastest
Portugal: 18th Fastest
Russia: 20th Fastest
Spain: 93th Fastest
United Kingdom: 23rd Fastest

If these are wrong, then please blame my spreadsheet.

Ha ha. I'm actually acquainted with that cone. We met last month at the Sarthe no chicane race, when this clown wanted to go two-wide through that turn. He never backed off, so I had to go lower than normal. I dead-centered the cone, and he fared a bit better.

I would love more effort put into the dailies. Like, hat happened to Ge 1 at Lago? What about Catalunya? Why is it alwasy LeMans now?

It's like they are just rehashing a handful of the same races. Gr4 at Catalunya hasn't been done. Why not? C'mon, it can't be that hard to set this up.

Yeah two wide through there just doesn’t work, Nice Air though!! Glad I’m not alone in my cone bashing haha. :)

Victory!!! Started on Pole and managed to hold onto it the whole time for a lights to flag Dub, my first of the week. The guy in second was staying steady behind me, falling back to 2-3s on the tighter parts and getting up as close and .8-1s on the straights but he never got by and he ended up coming into Indy too hot on the final lap and putting it into the wall, I finshed 15s clear of the field for the win after having to kill off .8s in penalties on the home stretch. It was a good race and a great way to start the evening! :)

Hmm Saturday night, 2 for 2 getting bumped off, what's the S in SR.S stand for anyway. One more attempt, not much fun when people don't know when to brake. 4 casualties on loading, no @Pigems, starting only 14th.

I finished 5th, however hit mulitple times again, red dot again, neutral SR. Not that much fun, time to quit before everyone gets too drunk.

Wait for Mt Doom again next week

oh snap. 👍

I was thinking, " I haven't raced today".

After seeing you were racing tonight I jumped on my other account to run the next one from the back with you and as soon as the race loaded I remembered I had been bumped down to Sr A in the last race last night so I was in a different room lol. I finished 5th in that race but it wasn't the fastest room. Hope to see you out there in the next one, always a pleasure Sir. :)

Dang, I should have checked here sooner, :29 now, too late to turn it back on for the next race. I'm going to catch some zzz's instead. I couldn't sleep last night and raced from 2 am until 7:30 am. It was interesting.... Degrading down to D/E during the night to fill the rooms. There were drivers that didn't give a crap about following the track and came zooming through with 18 sec penalties flashing. Luckily the game ghosts them when they completely ignore Dunlop or the final chicanes. Somehow that tactic still paid off as the biggest cheat finished 4th in one of the races. Unfortunately there were no victory opportunities for me as the aliens kept racing through the night as well, unhindered out front. Good luck on the track, perhaps I'll join later if I can't sleep again.

I got home from work today and drove the 908. I immediately liked it. I must have run close to 30 laps in 3 stints. I went out for a while, came back and did this on lao 10. A 25.8. Optimal is almost a second faster, and I hear this will go no stop with short shifting. I think I'll try it in a race.

I had a couple of races, in the 908. First one was a small field ... I won, and won some DR. But at the start, which was my first one, I hit the rev stop and spun the wheels when the flag dropped, and a Toyota Hyrbrid went by me. So we approached the first left corner, and suddenly he seemed to slow down, and much to my surprise I hit him and off he went. SR own for that ... I hung back to allow him back but then up came my penalty. I guess I should have run off too ... I won though by quite a bit. The next race a Toyota passed me as I was coming second on the first part of Mulsanne Straight - I just let him go. Another one was right behind me. made some mistakes and lost both DR and SR.

Why do that run into the black of you on the Mulsanne Straight? I was on one side of the track, they were faster accelerating, and by hitting me in my rear they pushed themselves back? Is it because I go faster, then they can get my draft and then catch the car in front of me? Annoying though, the rules there are quite silly. If there's heaps of room left and right there's no excuse hitting someone in the backside. Or do it to me please but only on the condition that PD award me some kind of SR bonus ... (they don't of course) ... I guess that is why PD punishes a push in the back to the car in front - because it might help both cars (and speed wise it can help the car in front) and both cars can catch a lone car in front??? Surely they can have a better algorithm with some conditions about avoidability when a car hits another car.

I had a couple more good runs tonight and got to race with @Winnie847 and @Rexracer702 a couple times, always a pleasure gents. :)

I managed to win the first one but only because @Winnie847 had an unfortunate incident in the first chicane going down the straight away, I was really looking forward to trying to chase him down. I managed to hang on though and pulled out my second Win of the night with the TS050. :)

The second race had a couple more fast guys in it and I was only able to manage a 4th place finish, it was a good run I just couldn’t keep up with them this time, no one made any big mistakes. It was a great night of racing and a nice way to cap off the week. Thanks again for the great races fellas! :)

May I ask how you're able to stay above SR 90 so consistently?.

Just to annoy you...back to SR 99 AND that was all done on On the Gr4 Fuji Frag Fest.:sly: Particularly proud of getting from 8th to 4th and SR up. More like dog fighting without getting shot than racing.

@05XR8; Nice liveries!

Hahaha, that's impressive. I thought getting a blue S while racing mid pack at Fuji was a myth :p How nasty were the SR/A lobbies there?

Anyway, if it's BOP, the Nismo should be competitive, no matter what.
How is the Nismo with fuel consumption? /me runs!

The fuel consumption is fine, 3rd best after the TS030. It's the only car that needs a tire change though as your fronts will be gone in lap 4! Plus it doesn't steer under acceleration.

Up early, caught the 7:30 am destruction derby, grid line up down to D/E. The was still a 3:22 B/S on pole, out of reach. The race was pure chaos and I could not avoid getting screwed over by the penalty system twice, tapped by a car on the way off the rack :/ -12 SR to start the day ugh. I did finish 5th from 17th, in front of the rammers. And rammers there were. The game does ghost people that are too eager to side swipe you on the straight or ignore the chicane, unfortunately where it counts most, Mulsanne, the game just lets them do their thing...
