I'm just here driving my plucky little Toyota around everyone bashing and then I get hit from behind braking for Turn 1 and crash into the barrier as he goes on in 2nd place with no penalty. How is this system still like this?

Systems 🤬 and PD doesn’t care. So I stopped caring. I still have a 99 SR and am over 22,000, but I’m just trying to run as clean of races as possible. Had a guy in front of me on Race C today weaving through the S turns and I didn’t try to pass him or get close enough to bump him. Guy behind me is still about a second back.

sturk0167 (if that is your real name) that lap looks "good to go" to me. But I'm slower. My QT is 1:47.645. Been stuck there for 3 days.

If I had to guess where you can make up time, I'm looking at your throttle input and I think you can get on the gas earlier. Using only a split second lift, 10-25% gas staring the turn. But of course then you risk spin.

This could be the worst advice ever. But that's what you get for asking random strangers on the internet for answers.

Here it is. Not my best lap, but it's an accurate depiction of how I've been driving the track. I know I blew it on the right-hander before the esses (too wide). This was with TCS 0, BB 0. It's funny how you can play this video blind-folded and tell that I'm using on/off for the throttle.
Where am I losing all that time? Not looking for "get a wheel & pedals". I know. Usually I can hang with those guys better. This race is just kicking my 🤬.

I can't recall torque figures between the Huracan and Atenza, but you're in 3rd everywhere. I drop to second for more drive and corner on exit, with the awd in the Atenza. I'd suspect maybe revs are where you're losing time. I know the Mustang's torque/gearing is suited to 3rd at the slower turns. So, that may be the case with the Huaracan. Just looks, to me(though, still, might not be the case) like it's slower than going down one more gear.

That lap was only 4 tenths slower than my best lap so far and that could be explained by you letting off at the bus stop and I didn’t. 7th place finish was worth 201 points to 19,201. I did get bumped out of the way by one driver yet he crashed himself before I could educate. Next time.

I'm using A/T. @Oshawa-Joe suggested M/T, and I tried it, but I'm too clumsy with it. I haven't used it enough to where I can do it without thinking about it. It makes me lose focus on everything else.

@Sven Jurgens I screwed up the bus stop on my own, on lap 1. I was catching back up to give you a race, but apparently, the guy in the silver Viper didn't want me to. Good job.

thats better than my time so I dont know lol. You are letting off too much in the bus stop though... and maybe drop to 2nd into the corners you are using 3rd... then get on it at apex and quickly go to 3rd... probably get out of the corners quicker?

I joined the next race and didn't see you, so I unplugged my router. I'll try again.

Edit: Same thing, again. I'm gonna try to raise the SR on my other profile (61), to get there. I'm bleeding DR with my sturk0167 profile, in that race. @Sven Jurgens I'll let you know when I see you.

No worries, the picture I posted a few posts back has them all numbered.

The bus stop may even be worth a little more for you, when I got the 4 tenths out of it I didn’t let off the throttle as much as you did so you could potentially gain more from it, for a Q lap. I won’t/wouldn’t be trying to go through there flat out in a race.

There should be an option to run AT, but with the ability to Manually shift gears if/when needed/wanted. So AT drivers could drop the one extra gear in a corner or stay in a higher gear through a corner but otherwise have the car drive in AT, AMT.

I sometimes screw up shifting as well. Especially since I play with the sound so low I can't usually hear it over the tv or my kids. Then I see that bar continuously flashing while wondering why the other car runs away from me

Sometimes I also have a senior moment and shift the wrong way... Good thing you can't brake the car.

Another Sturkless race, how bad will this turn out.

Yep, I as well... I have never played racing games and just started with my first (GTS) a couple months ago but I'm loving it and the shifting definitely takes some time to get used to. I sometimes forget as well. There's a lot to remember and watch out for, sometimes it's overwhelming!

Well till I lost patience with this dude who banged past me, looked like he bumped the 86 and somebody else so I connon balled him at the bottom of the hill before the Bus stop

I agree. It would be the perfect option for people wanting to learn manual but not quite ready to go full MT yet.

Van Halen came on the radio at the start of the race, and got me pumped up. Got the win, finally. It resulted in some guy from Brazil really not liking me. He drove his Megane to my outside approaching that right-handed kink after the first chicane, and I guess he thought I was gonna lift. He said some Portugese jibberish after the race. Whatever. I'm crying my eyes out for him.

Yea man I saw you this afternoon for two or three in a row and then again an hour later but then I had to go make dinner. You had only one red bar connection though. In actual race conditions can you read everything on the back of my car?

Thought I'd try a pre-dinner race.

Started 5th. Terrible luck. Hit a car in front, couldn't slow down enough, I tried, I'm sorry,
-6 SR.

Saw Sven, just as he came behind me, I ended up in the dirt. Down to last place. Thought it was game over but after that I did OK to make it back to 12/15.

Very close race. 4/5 tops finishers were Huracans. Not the cleanest race. But nothing too serious. Except for me hitting that car. I did slow down and try to protect them as they tried to correct themselves though. I hope that counts for something.

Ill tell you next race I see as Ill look closer but it seemed nicely detailed from what I can recall.

Not sure what to do about the lag from time to time. Worst part is when I get lag, its often green bars till race starts then it drops to red. At tbis point Im not sure what to do however I very rarely see cars shifting around when Im low sig so I just race normally :/

14th to 5th to 13th, cause some idiot in a Viper can't keep it together, spins on a kerb, takes me out with him and I get a 5 sec penalty for it. Thanks to the penalty he still finishes ahead of me. Punt people off before they can wipe out in front of you!
