Fastest guy in Asia posted a 32.677 for reference. It's a fun little track, but at the moment noone is racing it in Asia.

Can hit 33 flat and into the 32.9s in the race, but for whatever reason cant go that tenth faster when actually qualifying.

That's me having another week off! Can't drift for A, B will be demolition derby or for me penalty city, not fast enough, anywhere near for C (did a qualifying run.... oh dear, when will I get faster???)

So I searched for GTS and it's not in the store over here.... there are only 2, GT Sport Companion and Fandom For GTS..... not that it matters as my stats are not really worth keeping an eye on... thanks anyway!

I always figured the iOS version I have didn’t have the same functionality and @Flash_Sweden was using a PC or Android version. To be fair, until this conversation I didn’t really think much more about it. Now that I look though there was another app; GTS Companion. It did link to my Data once PSN account was typed in.

@drummingcat Good point on the nationality. The example I gave was with me against another Irish driver. Sure, this place is so small you really do run the risk of bumping into them in real life so you'd be mindful of how you drive - though it didn't stop the lady in a VW flipping me the bird on the road the other day. Perhaps I am only imagining it but I even tend to get a little more respect from drivers with under the Union Flag at times. Perhaps it's more the common language than common flag? Certainly I do get friend requests on PSN from UK drivers after we've had good encounters that would rarely happen from a player where English was not the first language.

Maybe it's just me being cynical, but I wondered if PD deliberately makes the choices of daily races a bit boring (as in the lack of variety) as they want people to participate in the Nations & Manufacturers series (which often have more diversity).

This is PD's first collaboration with the FIA, if I was Kaz / PD I'd want as many people as possible in the FIA racs so it looked like the relationship was beneficial.

If the FIA races had a poor turn out, would this be detrimental to the partnership continuing?

Just me thinking out loud... 💡

Nope, that‘s from GTS Companion, not the official App. Sorry, I got lost between too many Apps and thought you were talking about the iOS-Version of Companion.

Somebody should develop an app to keep track of Board-Threads!

Yup, I downloaded it for try. Much more in it than the GT Sport App. Some DR / SR info that I'd usually go to Kudosprime for. Links to track videos so you can watch BB Speedway from work and be 100% sure you'd rather scheduled a lobotomy than do Daily A 20 times this week without having to get home to find out.
 
Last week, the 3 races were the best for a long time, in my opinion.
The poor selection of all 3 races this week would be more acceptable, if it was just for 1day, but for an entire week ? Unacceptable.

Race C - GR2 cannot race closely because of the aero wash understeer programming randomness, when following closely, plus it’s at Fuji, another overused Japanese track.

That leads nicely onto Race B - Tokyo (again!), where if someone wants to ruin your race, they just need to contact you then turn into the wall, to give you a penalty.

Same goes for Race A - BB raceway.

I haven’t really kept up with what’s happening in the online scene recently, so forgive my ignorance, is the Group 2 RC F just real bad on its tyres or is it all in my driving? I did notice there were only a few out there tonight but I don’t know if that’s just down to speed.

I'd think with times 13 tyre wear they'd all be bad on their tyres.

If I get desperate I might take out one of my other games for that.
What happened to Catalunya? Brands? Streets of Willow n100 one make?
This makes me more glad that I did a c marathon yesterday, had a feeling this weeks selection would be bad for me.

I held onto it this time! Finished national #1 and regional #35 in race A :cheers:

A bit off topic:
Speaking of finishing at the top of one’s nation, is Greece now eligible for Nations Cup? I’d looked up a (seemingly outdated) list out of curiosity and achieving top 10 (?) in Greece in Nations did not count towards DR S. Now obviously I cannot commit to the FIA races right now since I never know when I’m going to be able to play again and I’m probably not on an adequate level to apply for S, but it would be nice not to be restricted to Manufacturers if you’re from Greece and want the rank :indiff:
If they haven’t changed it yet, I hope they do so until June.

This has to be the third or fourth time Fuji has been the weekly race in the last two months. Very dull.

Race A and B should be complete SR killers, walls everywhere and nowhere to pass. Hello five second penalties.

PD desperately need new tracks or to better rotate them as their first priority.

Sorry bout the lineup, guys. I hadn't realized that PD was actually using my posts for guidance. These were my predictions on Saturday. As you can see, they used components of all 3. I'll be more careful, next time, now that I know they're following me.

Race A: BB Raceway - One-Make Focus ST
Race B: Tokyo Expressway East Inner Loop - Gr.3
Race C: St. Croix B - Gr.2

I'd like to run into these courteous British players once in a while, they've given me more than their fair share of grief. Maybe the C/S group has a glut of Britons who are persuaded by big red buses.
