I just looked up douchbaggery and it is actually a noun in the Oxford dictionary. Even more surprised when my phone’s spell check accepted it.

I got the ebook but I’m sure it’s made in hard copy as well, it was only $12 on Apple Books. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to improve their driving. :)

Just did another Race B and I have to say there are some real idiots out there. I got punted off the track on the last turn by an a rated driver who could have easily gone around me. And punted would be too nice of a word. But nooooooo, that would be too easy. As someone else pointed out, he's on the HIT list! :)

That's not bad, but don't use up all your good ones on DT. We'll be needing lots of names for the Tokyo tracks. 💡

I just ran into a guy it was perfect for! Pass him for the lead on the straight to take 2 to go flag, rubs me way offline into turn 2. (Race a) I actually recovered for 3rd after falling to 6th. Said 'don't like getting passed huh' post race and he gives me the stock 'good luck!'

It doesn't look good for much race time tonight. We're having a major wind storm and have been warned power can fail at any moment. Port Dover is flooding and is expecting 27 foot waves. Evacuations are in effect. It looks like another snow day for the kids as after melt and rain all day it's now snowing and going down to -7 with up to 100 kph wind gusts. Welcome to the new world, climate change.

Meanwhile I've been trying to create a recovery usb drive for the new laptop which takes forever and has failed twice so far... Win 10 doesn't give any details of course. Something went wrong, thanks for that captain obvious.

I guess I'll try to squeeze some races in while copying data over. I'll be getting withdrawal twitches if I don't race soon :lol:
 
The army of 911 is strong in race c, but vulnerable at the lower ranks. I did maybe the most I have ever done in a day. I was down up, sideways...
It began with 3 races in which I shot myself in the foot somehow like the one where I had to pit twice because I was up to 5 at the pit and I DOUBLE TAPPED X! Lol
Still increased position with 2 stops by attrition and people destroying their tires in that one...
Oh yeah there was the race I was running 4th lap ten and left one rear hanging t1...
However these first three were all clean and fun. Post race chat was all hugs and kisses.
I bled dr because mistakes now in these races cost big. The other drivers aren’t all gone anymore. They are on your butt and will slip through if an error is made...Great fun...
Race 4. everything is peachy but I had to burn too much fuel and a slightly slower 911 jumped me in the pit...
So coming into the hairpin yep you guessed it one of my South American brothers. Used me as a brake. Little did he realize I drive the car I do and take the hairpin tight like I do because a punt attempt only results in a pass for him with me catching before 130r entry. Sorry son, I will strike back and I punted that sob so far into the sand I’m not sure he ever dig himself out.
So that race ended and dang I had a red s...
I had a bunch to get done, so I did that and being at 92 bothered me...I decided one final race. The chips hadn’t fallen my way, I had potential on this track, but kept shooting myself in the foot or getting stuck...
So, I start 11. What’s so funny is the guy in tenth has the same sticker on his rear quarter as me and is in the same car! Lol. Plus he’s an awesome clean driver...I kept behind him until the pit and saving fuel at opportune moments...I jump him in the pit! He’s on me bad until lap 7 where I am able to pull gap. What a great race basically seven laps of us locked in battle, but clean and with respect!
Anyhow up five places clean race bonus back to 99. Only one incident in five races and I came out ahead on it.

So far so good. I'm racing on DT while migrating files to my new laptop. I can see the snow blow by outside the window, horizontally, at times at a rather unbelievable speed. Luckily the wind is coming from such a direction that it can't blow any trees into the house. Shielded by the neighbours, wind is going along the direction of the street.

DT is messy again, at the top this time. Top 5 all red ratings. The fast people are out and hungry for a win in the last couple races.
 
Can’t wait for one make Beetle 1200 at Tokyo, Gr3 at Interlagos, and 86 at Fuji since kudosprime doesn’t wanna update. :/

Last time we had to wait like this, we ended up with crap like Tuscan at RBR and Gr.4 at Fuji.
 
It's too distracting to race with a storm outside. Can't help but look outside when another 100 kph wind gust comes through. Meanwhile windows 10 sucks. It got my user name wrong (defaults to your email name at set up, no user input :banghead: thus all directory names wrong) Now it's been restarting for the last 10 minutes after deleting the old and making a new user, so much for SSDs making things faster, no clue what it's doing. It was so much faster to set up a new system 10 years ago. Progress sucks!

Still restarting, swirling thing on screen, is it doing anything, is it hanging. It's nothing but a lovely blue glow light.

My SR is intact anyway, still gained some positions despite the distractions however my lap times were down to the 1:48 range, not into it tonight. Perhaps when the races change I'll give it another try.

Restarting, restarting, restarting, restarting, hmm dead on arrival?

Couldn't resist one more race at DT. Started 3rd. Mixed grid. Almost race ending contact though turn 2 on the 1st lap but made it through. Alone the rest of the way. Finished 3rd. That'll do it for this week for me. Very happy with my week.

That is one wild combo. It’s just crazy enough to work! Reminds me of the hit song by Foghat “Slow Ride” :gtpflag::lol:

I downloaded the app recently and my profile was automatically added. Clic on the driver icon at the bottom center to see your profile, then swipe right or clic on "history" to see your stats.

Hi Gersicer, I take it you have the Android version? The iOS version doesn't give all that info (that I can find and I have tried swiping right, left, up and down!). And before anyone asks, I cannot find the answer on google :cheers:

Yep ! Android. I haven't seen the other one so ... can't say much about how it should work ;)

Dont think its your fault. Either they are talking about a different app or different version. I've tried the same swiping all directions to no success

Yeah he is using the app called gts. Search in app store.
