Gosh, that's a lot of info. First of all, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention this:

That seems really damn hot. Now I see why some people wear gloves. Anyhow, I hadn't realized that steering ratio can be adjusted. Is that just on certain brands of wheel?

This piqued my interest, as well:

I'll have to check that out.

Thank you

You can't adjust it on g29, the game does it automatically, apparently.

But yes, g29 takes a bit of practice, it's quite different to other wheels (not in a good way, driving-wise).

Did my first B race this weeks using my recently created secondary/my cats primary account. Since it is still low ranked (E-B) races were surprisingly clean. I did a C at first to gain some SR and then entered B. I made it through with no penalty and an SR of A. Quite a lot of fun but I wouldn‘t dare to race it with my primary account.

It’s been a good day so far!

@Pigems I've got some important info for you. Willow Springs Horse Thief Mile has some pretty darn good jumps! I also checked out Streets of Willow Springs, but didn't see much potential. At the Horse Thief Mile, there's a really good one right after the start/finish line, on the left. You need to stay to the right of the water tank, though. There are other good ones if you drive it in the reverse direction. 👍

Good day yesterday.Wasn't home much since it was my birthday , but I did start and end my day with GTS.
I raced the C race twice, I'm done there. a couple of Brazilian guys were fast enough to be dangerous, and just plowing through everyone they came up on. It's not hard to finish up front when you punt everyone you come up to.
Tokyo has been good. my best finishes of the week, from the back, were a couple of 5ths. I qualified Friday since it was getting messy. to start my day yesterday I ran hot laps to work on some things. I'm definitely getting dialed in now. I even feel like if I ran this for some more time I could get close to the top of my board. I ran a 1:17.733 and have an optimal of 1:17.40. None of those sectors was perfect and if I could do every corner as fast as I have already, I would be a second faster than my optimal I think. I'm finding T1 and T5 (the fast right) are key to a good lap, and if I can run them well then 1:18's, even mid to low 18's, are pretty easy.
I entered a bunch of races in the morning and the evening. First race of the day was a win. Managed 3 wins and 3 second's, with 4 poles and 4 fastest laps. Best race lap was a 1:18.4xx. I may run some more laps and see if I can put a better one together
The guy in the Cayman that finished 2nd pushed me for 2 races, and beat me in one. Awesome, clean racing. a bit of rubbing, but it's Tokyo!

Happy Birthday Man!! Sounds like it was a good one.

@sturk0167 Thanks for the tip, I found couple spots to get some air. I can’t remember which track it was now though.

Nice pics. 👍 That's definitely Horse Thief Mile. Can't quite tell where you're at, though. The 2 best jumps I found were in different spots.
On a side note, that track would be tons of fun for an A race, maybe with Miatas. Better start on the pole though, because you'd have to hit someone to make a pass, there.

Thanks, I couldn’t remember lol. It was up around the first sweeping right handed up the hill, to the right around half way up the hill, the camera angle for the replay sucked so I didn’t bother with a video. It would be a fun track in the right car for sure. I tried the jump you mentioned near the finish line but I couldn’t get a good launch off of it without flipping/rolling the truck over.

The jump at Big Willow is still the most air, there has gotta be a bigger one somewhere though.

I hope so. Actually I've been looking for one at every daily race since then. :D
The one that may get you the greatest distance is the one at Fisherman's Ranch, near the end. I should probably go there in one of the super-powerful AWD Gr.X cars.

Note to self - Never take part in another online race at any Tokyo Expressway configuration. A**holes everywhere.
Yeah.. I'm not a fan of narrow tracks. On the B race, I got sandwiched between another player and the wall, and brought me from pole to 5th place. I was not a happy camper.
Since next week's race is on Nurburgring, I feel a little uneasy about it. But at the same time, I still want to have a go at it and see how long it takes me to eff up and go for a spin on the grass.

I just had a hillariously funny race C. First of all: started 7th, finished 5th with my 8H-5M tire-strategy.

At turn 1 an overly optimistic brit shot into the field and struck the car besides me, bounced back and pushed me off the track. He turned 180, I managed to continue besides the track but fell back to 18th, behind me the Brit and an Ukranian driver.

I followed the field and due to pit stops I managed to reach 3rd but this was done once I had my pitstop. I came out as 9th and due to more pit stops from other drivers I finally finished 5th.

Now the funny part: the Brit and the Ukranian. Sometime during the race I came over the Ukranian and he was ghosted all the time — I lapped him! I decided to save the replay and have a look (well mostly to see who dive bombed at lap 1). After the crash the Ukranian and the Brit were the last two. Seriously: the Ukranian held a controller for the very first time or he was a shameless wrecker or he was drunk. He couldn‘t drive in a straight line, left the track countless times and sometimes nearly came to a stop when entering tight turns. So in lap 1 the Brit tried to pass which was quite a problem since the other guy was everywhere. They bumped each other a few times by accident but then it got personal. Climax happened when the Brit, himself already 30 seconds or more behind the field even waited for the other guy and stopped! If PD would have created an animation of a waving fist coming out of the drivers window, this was the situation where it would‘ve been shown.

I finish my week. I‘m excited about the car for Nordschleife tomorrow.

I think that the main reason I get along with yhe Tokyo layouts is the exact boundries. Other tracks i may struggle, then see someone using way more curb and it's faster, then past the curbs. With walls I don't have to deal with that, and can concentrate on getting the line right. I don't usually have the time on track that I need to really get up to speed...and it takes more laps now than it did 20 years ago.

I didn't no you could start a race an the first thing that comes up is if I hit another car I'm disqualified, had a bad race before that, not my doing of course it was the same as bumper cars like y do people need to drive like this drives me cracked, Dr rating goes to **** then, and back to the race I was on about got rear ended a few laps into the race an got disqualified, it's impossible to get thru the first bend in a race 90% of the time you will be bulldozed off the track, it does take the fun out of the race,

The Supra and the NSX are the highest on their speed ratings. So it'll probably be the Shelby from a month ago.
