but for some reason it brings out the worst in people.

Good overtake?
I am very new to 'racing' and would really like some feedback.
Starting from I was closing the gap to P3 and went for it on lap 5.
There was contact but I felt that there was plenty of room to the outside.

I wish I could do a 1.32x.
I can't figure how to get under 1.338 on interlagos, I have watched the replay, tried the Audi, the maclaren, but there is nothing I can do, I constantly mess up the first turn exit(2nd turn) as I oversteer and lose time when when I pass on the curb. In 1h30, I passed 3 times the first couple of turns correctly and I messed up somewhere else.
The gr3 professional AI is faster than me in the custom races, I am ashamed and I don't dare to face DR B drivers
Maybe I need to try with the cones...
Thank You - I'll do some testingI think I used +4 for a while when testing qualifying speeds at Suzuka. You might start with +2.

My time with the porsche is also 1:32.2xx... I guess Ill try the audi, even knowing that its pretty hard to handle on ds4.EMEA is all Audi R8s too except #7 or #8 which is a WRX
The best time is a 1:30.6. I myself put in a 1:31.816 in the R8, which I am quite content with even though I know it's not getting me any good grid starts. Well, at least in the SR 90+ lobby it's not. It's still a sizable improvement over my 32.2 that I had set in the VW GTI VGT last time this combo was around, so I'll take it
That Audi is really a difficult car to figure out. It's easy to drive once you understand that it likes to slide, but reaching its limits is way harder than one may think.

There's the Qualifying Time Trial option next to the Race Entry option. Go on there and start qualifying until you get a satisfying lap!To all the daily races participants: I've seen people running time trials in the dailies. How is that actually possible? I thought they were only races?

Yes, you can run the Qualifying Time Trials AND FIA Free Practice sessions (from the actual FIA event details menu that is) without PS+Thank you very much for this! I finally understand now....I think I can run them without PS+, is that correct?

I just watched the replay of the guy who beat Lester on the leaderboard for race A. Same damn thing! He definitely doesn't make it through any of those turns better than we do. The super-fast shifting is the difference.Did a few races last night and was geting pushed around in the mx5 so worked on my time and shaved it down a bit more to a 1.12.2xx i might be able to hit an 11 with a miracle lap lol
This morning i did a few races already and much cleaner. Hard competition and some bumps here and there, but just results of hard racing with no real consequences (whats a few sr points between friends eh?) There was one guy this morning who has the honor of being the first guy to make it onto my list since i decided to make one. Ramming whoever was close to him off at every turn...

I'd say the guy in front of him screwed up the corner himself and he was perfectly entitled to hold his line and pass. The other guy swerved back across and hit him.

I don't like cones in a race, since they can be moved, and can create obsticals, but I have been using the blue apex markers. They only mark turn in and apex, but they're up high and don't move. Since I use bumper cam, they can help in a race when I'm close to someone and cant see the corner.I wish I could do a 1.32x.

[..] but it seems its not racing at the moment its gaming the holes in the system. [..]
