Nice one @Sven Jurgens
I need to figure out how to start lol.
I think I kinda turned into you also after going off track.
I’m not sure if it’s a good idea, but I am gonna try one more c race.
First attempt multiple crashes 7th but no time!
Didn’t get to finish!
It’s hard enough to drive this car with no one on the track!
Lol race one...DNF
Race two... we will see...

Start is best to hug the inside although you risk a penalty from cars bouncing off you. Last race I got 4 sec from getting bumped off into a car that was already in the grass... Since I hit a car that was off-track with me being higher DR, 4 sec for me. I didn't get to serve it until lap 2 to get right back in the mess lol.

Luckily the race is long enough to recover. Too bad that driver from the race before got in the way again every time I tried to set a faster lap. One more attempt tonight! Starting now.

I finally did it! I won Race C! I did 3 of them yesterday and they all went exactly the same: snatch the lead at the start from the 2nd row, then throw it away by running of track by pushing too hard trying to maintain my gap, and finish 3rd. Today, in the first race I did tonight, I started 2nd, again snatched the lead at the start, and led the entire race except for pitstops, with @Sven Jurgens about 7 seconds behind me. Not only did I win, but I somehow got a clean race bonus, and it was also my 200th Sport Mode win! I love this car, but I've never gotten the hang of Brands Hatch, so all of this was a pleasant surprise.

Yes! Finally, I broke the 1:13 barrier.

I had all the room in the world as you can see. +42 sec lead in the end. Lap 10 was the golden lap. Unfortunately in lap 11 I caught back up with the backfield and pretty much nobody respects the blue flag. This car does not like the dirty air thrown up by ghosts. No drafting opportunity, just slow down for corners while they drive through you.

Very happy with my lap. Now I know can do it, it will be easier next time.

I think in race that’s about 2 sec faster than my pace in the lead.
That’s a good win.
My win was tainted by me in pole position jumping the start getting a 2.5 pen, only lost 2 spots but got them back before lap 1 ended. I just cruised without pressure at 14-15 pace. .You probably got caught up in my inability to start decent.
Sub 13 in race is very good stuff.
I have retired for the evening. Good luck man!
Can I friend you?

3 Race C's, 3 wins, and 3 clean races in a row. 1 pole. I got my qualifying time down to a 12.08. I have yet to get under a 13.1 in the race. I haven't been this successful in a race since the last time Blue Moon Bay was in the rotation.

Ah, so that was you. Great job! I am pokey

I watched the top replay for my region, on turn one exit he runs so wide that he almost hits the wall. I stopped it right there. Didn't even need to watch the rest. What a shame. At least I know I'm within 2 sec and I keep at least 2 wheels on track at all times.

Sadly, there are still as many idiots on Race A as there were yesterday, so it just means your SR keeps dropping. Out of S now and into A with 74 points.

Just one side swipe or nudge from others is enough to give a neutral rating, anymore and it's down, down, down.

I must either be covered in tar/honey/or a magnet as even when trying to stay away from contact, like on the far side of the track, I'm suddenly side swiped for no reason.

I have been doing the "touch me, I'll touch the wall" method of payback though. Managed to get one dirty sod 7 seconds in 3 corners in Race A.

My last race at lunchtime, started 2nd on the grid, and was 5th by the hairpin. On the run out of the hairpin and up to the right hander at the top of the ramp I was somehow in 1st.

2nd place was a serious lagger and I think they caused a bit of chaos behind as by the time I got to the start of the home straight, I was 4 1/2 seconds ahead.

By the end of the race, I finished 6 1/2 seconds ahead for an easy win. Still ended up with a white Sr due to being hit at the hairpin on lap 1.
Same here - I must have run about 20 races this week, and have only had 2 blue SRs. My SR has dropped from S to B, and would be even lower if I didn't keep doing a race C every now and then to get it back up!

Having said that, I haven't seen much malicious driving, and I'm usually the only DR A driver in the race so pick up more contact penalties as a result. The race is quite addictive though, it's fun trying to work out where to position yourself on the last lap to be sure of the win.

Why I only do c this week

One from my first race, last night. If the finish line had been a few meters further up the road, I'd have got 4th.

Still, helps on my way to my 50% top 5 finishes target.

Not sure if he's on here. If you are, thanks for one of the few clean battles at RBR this week. It was fun.

Just check'd nex week races. ...Autopolis&Fuji...c'mon PD, is that all you can offer??? We've already raced these combo's the last 2 months. With RBR&Brand's, i thought maybe there was a bit of a change going on but this is very dissapointing again!!! I'm really looking forward to race another time @ St.- Croix, Monza, BMB Infield, DGT Sea&Gardens (not reverse), Willow and Alsace!!!

Suzuka East isn't the most original choice ever, but I guess it depends on the car. Any predictions?

Autopolis should be interesting with Gr.4. I think it will be easier to pass than it was in other races on this track, because dirty air is barely a thing in this category.

Fuji Gr.2... I've had the game for four months and this is the third time this combo has come up. I get that Fuji, Suzuka and Autopolis are the only tracks in this game where Super GT races are held in real life (correct me if I'm wrong) but it wouldn't hurt to have something else for once :indiff:

Gr.1 is still missing and has been since the beginning of February. If the lack of diversity on any track not named Sarthe No Chicane is to blame, why is Gr.4-Car-Grid there? And where's Gr.B? One the best live event races last year was in that class and it was on asphalt, so one can't even argue that Gr.B is restricted to dirt.

Hi GT5Power,

As 4 a predition on race A, i don't care because i never race it.

4 B, OK, Autopolis is a welcome refreshment, but wit Gr. 4, it does'nt realy put much enthousiasme 4 me.

...And 4 C, i'm so ####### bored of this track!!! Like you say yourself, this track, (togheter wit Suzuka), comes over and over again. It's just silly that PD does'nt bring more variation.

As 4 Gr. B , you are right, it's ages, but, tbh, i don't care.

Had 2 races on C this morning. First race was jacked by some icehole bumping us into the grass. Didn't seem to warrant any penalties. Huh? :boggled: started 15th and finished 5th. No pit stop. Ran fuel at 4.

Second was a winner. Surprised that everyone hit the pits. Had to be patient because of a Brazilian that kept dive bombing and finally pushing me off the track after trying to push me off going into the previous two corners. That arse finally pitted and after the other four hit the pits I had a 11 second lead. That Brazilian finished 2nd and must have created havoc back there because I finished 20 seconds ahead of 2nd.

There’s a national ball hockey tourney up here in Canada every year, one year our team was called the IceHoles.

Since you've only had the game a short time you weren't around for the GrB tarmac dailies. They have been on at Willow Springs a couple of times as I recall and I think Brands Hatch. The races were pandemonium because PD's concept of rally cars on tarmac is very similar to PD's concept of racing on wet tracks....

Haven't had a lot of time again this week, so I've been mostly running hot laps. I'm pretty happy with my times so far on the B and C races. Got into the 12's on C and the 29's on B. There's time to be had on both. Still trying cars on B. Set the 29 with the Mclaren. Did a 30.1 in my race last night in the vette, and have done low to mid 30's in, and have raced the mustang, the aston, the beetle, the ford gt, the benz and the viper. I seemed to have found my groove in the vette last night, even though 3rd was my best finish. That race I started 2nd, first was a 29 flat to my 29.742. 3rd was also a 29.7 and everyone down to 13th was in the 30's. I probably could have gotten the lead on lap 1, but decided not to risk it because I wanted to get clear of the field. Lap 2 had the leader starting to pull a gap, and I had my hands full with holding off P3. We diced and changed positions a few times mid race, running low to mid 30's, then he gapped me on L4 with a 29.9. I did a 30.1 on L5 to close within .3 at the end. It was gooood.

when I entered the 10:30 B race last night, something really weird happened. I was 2nd on the grid and rolling with the countdown, then the flag dropped and I immediately looped the car. It was like auto drive took over...I had no steering and the car kept going around in circles. Many other cars were also driving in circles, bumping into each other, bouncing off walls. It lasted for maybe a minute and I almost quit, then all of a sudden I had steering again. Unfortunately I was facing the wrong way, and ended up dead last by the time I got going. Finished 11th after an intense battle with 2 other cars. Did get the third in the next race.

What is everyone doing in C for pit strategy. I raced there once, early in the week. Stopped for tires, and drove terribly. Just too many mistakes. My best lap was a 14 or 15 and I probably went off every time I tried to get around someone so I haven't raced there since. I'm a bit better now, but still not very consistant with this combo.

Edit. I would really like to see an N400 or N500 race with a choice of garage cars on a tight, flowy track. Kicking some but in the Raptor would be fun.

Looking at next weeks races, I'm feeling somewhat uninspired. Another week of grinding la Sarthe for my next car I guess. A Gr3 or Gr1 night race at la Sarthe would be nice pretty please PD . I doubt we will see any radical changes.. My impression is they are matching tracks with classes that actually race there, although they show clips of races that have never existed, like Gr1 at Bathurst :odd:.
