Mmmmm new races. Next round is

Race A Tokyo central inner n100 provided 4 laps
Race B Interlagos gr4 4 laps
Race C Kyoto Yama+Miyabi II gr3 8 laps fuel x6 tires x13

I'm pretty happy to get the gr4's out in Brazil again :)
That tyre wear on a track of constant corners, it's not worth playing on DS4.

For some reason, inexplicable to me, I've fallen a bit in love with Autopolis.
Same here. But personally I think gr3 cars makes the circuit even better. Non the less I enjoyed this track allot with the gr4 this week. Looking forward to race C upcoming week im curious how the tyrewear will influence this race because the amount of corners this track has.

Can we talk about how fun the NSX is on Race A?

I polled 3rd with the GTR Nur but got bored and picked the NSX for a race without practicing. Somehow despite all of the wheel spinning and midship lateral drifting out of every turn, I still managed to retain 3rd place despite leaving half of the tires on the tarmac. It's finicky as hell but it's like Tokyo Drifting in a race and still staying in the mix.

Finally had chance to get in the R32.

It’s a bit different to drive stock in GTS than my tuned to the max boy racer version from GT2!

Down to a 58.310 in race a qually. Got to be smooth.

It can kick out a bit between turns 1 and 2. Is that the fastest way to turn into turn 2?

better race for fun only and not for kudosprime stats!
Otherwise you will always endup in a meta car.

Agreed. As a rule, I always race what i find most fun to drive. I do occasionally use the meta to qualify, though. Better Kudos stats are nice. But, if I'm not having fun, there's no point playing.

I'm looking forward to taking the Porsche, Honda, and Ferrari around Interlagos this week.

Much practice is needed for Race C. Historically, I'm diabolically slow there.

race B is really bumpy, no overtake analysis, they just slide in front of you, its soo annoyng.

Yep. You are both right. In the past I've got too worried about competing and forgotten how to have fun!

It's fun competing. But, I know I'll never be competing with the best. I just don't have the time to practice as much as they do. So, I'm quite happy being (as a rule) in the top 5% in EMEA, driving what I enjoy, and not worrying too much about my DR. As long as the racing is clean, I'm happy. If I can pick up wins, podiums, and top 5 finishes with that, awesome. If not, no worries. I'm not trying to get to live events, so it doesn't matter.

This is why I was racing the '08 SC430 at Fuji for the first half of the week, without qualifying. Best finish in that car was 6th. Worst was 11th. Didn't really do my stats much good, but it was a lot of fun fighting guys in the '16 cars.

I guess I’ll find out if I still need TCS 2 in the golf cart today, I’m also curious about how well the new penalty system works when you go off the cart path. :D

Race B qually.

Did a 1.53.8 in the Alfa this morning. Obviously there is more time in the car. I found it tricky to be consistent in.

Back in the trusty Lancer.
20 laps and I’ve got a 1.53.297. With a 52.8 optional.
Safer race car too. Although might get picked off on the straight and into turn 1.

Edit: need sub 53 to be near front at DR B! More qually time needed.

Uhhh so what is the projected car meta for next week's daily gr4 race at Interlagos? I'm thinking the lambo is looking good and the TT.

It's been a while since the last Gr.4 race at Interlagos so my memory is hazy and I'm in doubt whether there ever was a Gr.4 here before since the switch to weekly races as I only remember Gr.3.

Anyway, I'm going to say without much of a surprise, it will be the 4C again. I can see the 86 and Cayman also being good contenders. I'm kind of bored using the 4C since I've used it for the last 3 - 4 Gr.4 events so I'm probably going drive something unorthodox instead like the Dodge Viper.

I'm thinking about going with the Ferrari! Should be relatively balanced.

Anyone else done testing for next week's C race at Yamagiwa+Miyabi II? I tried 4 Gr.3 cars, this morning, to see which one would work well for me. It only took about 3 turns in the Porsche to realize how unstable it is (I know some people can drive it well, but not me). My best was about 2:20. Only did 2 laps in each car, just to get an idea. I don't know if 2:20 will be bad or good.

@Pigems if you thought those downhill esses were tough to take flat-out in the Beat, wait til you try it in a Gr.3 car. I can almost do it, but I have to lift a little to make the last left.

Either way, I like the track and I think I'll spend most of my time at that track, next week. It's wide enough that there shouldn't be too much roughhousing. But there are a couple places where I could definitely see some paint getting traded.

Just did a 2:20 with the nsx. It was my first try at this track and I only did 6 laps. Loooooots of time to be gained once I'll know the track better. Too many cars to try though .... I have no idea which one I should concentrate on !

I was curious to try it considering the many turns and all but it's a fun track to drive !

I'm sure that first thing tomorrow morning, we'll see Lester with a 2:15, or something like that.

Super lazy this morning and just did my daily miles on Race A + a few practice laps. Got pole. But couldn't hold. Finished 2nd. Gained some DR and SR. Nice reward for minimal effort.

Uargh! That looks as if there's still deep of winter with all those naked trees! I'd choose to stay inside.
This is Canada. Ground isn't frozen. It's go time. :D

I pitch and putt all year round (in western Canada). Snow, ice, mud, in the dark with night balls, whatever. Doesn't effect my game at all..... still takes me 4 putts.

Gr4 Lagos. It’s gonna be very very dirty. Best bet is to take the most stable car you can and run the tightest line you can everywhere. Don’t even give anyone a LOOK at an inside ANYWHERE.
I seriously doubt I will enter any dailies this week.
I actually did a few laps in the Ferrari last night, and that would be a fun car to use, but not with having to know you WILL get bumped. Better to use a viper or Aston or Mercedes or something of that ilk.
Imo, if you run a handling car at Lagos you need awesome qual, and your goal is to be the rabbit.

Oh, yeah. SR killer, for sure! There should be some pretty good fights in the post-race chat.

I might just go there with my alt account if I feel like resetting the DR.
