Got to the full course today as well. Just a perfect day not a cloud in the sky. Got two birdies on the first 2 par 3's as well and well driving it well but kept screwing up stupid things like chipping or should I say chunking lol. Think I scored mid 90s should have been way lower but such is life. Sometimes I almost think of Racing like golf...each corner is like a different shot. And the lower the score or more efficient you take the corner.. the better lol.
Looking forward to race C this week, so many shots to hit... I mean corners to carve on that track.

9 Iron for race B do you think?

Hmm, dunno if I want to qualify. Started last. A TT looked like it wasn't quick at all. I followed a Huracan and GT-R whole race. Was a, A/S room with times from 1:38-1:40 and none of those awd cars walked away from me. Pretty mixed group of cars. Huracan won, C7, Atenza, Cayman, GT-R, TT, my M4, The top 10 look diverse too.

Race C top emea time atm 2:14.6xx.... quite fast... Did few laps last night with R8 and got 2:19.1xx So lots of practice needed after work today...
Or go to garage and fix girlfriends car, decisions, decisions...

So if I do race this week I'm probably going to go Nissan GT-R's or Mustang's for Race B/C, I see my prediction for Race A was correct
but I sense that race is going to be a "fit" of laughs given it's Tokyo Expressway.

Hi everyone! I kinda picked up on something that is incredibly stupid and genius for getting a good time on the A race.

So the Fit Hybrid's battery lasts shorter than the batteries from the flea market (aka, they only last 1.5 laps). When you start the 2nd lap, you're zooming by your ghost from lap 1... and then you're out of juice.

So, to zoom by the lap 1 ghost ON lap 1... reverse. Reverse all the way to a little just past (or before) the start of the final sector. If done correctly, you should have 99-100% battery.

THEN you can start your lap.

Questionable? Yes.
But does it get you a better lap time? As long as you don't crash, yes.

aaaaaaaaaand now i dont wanna do this race.

overtaking on Interlagos with GR4 is a pain in the a** :) - after a whole week with GR2 on Fuji this race seems really boring..
Indeed. You don't have allot of spots on the track where you really can overtake without risking anything. Except for the straight after the last turn or just after the first s turn.

Viper gr.4 doesn't seem bad in Interlagos. With my meh driving skills and only 2 laps i managed to pull 1:39 and half so i imagine someone else can do it better.
It handles well and has decent grunt

Just did some Q laps @Interlagos. 1st choice was the Lambo, best was a .40.1. Then, the Aston, Viper, GT-R and some FF's. No better result. Then the Veyron, and after some brake balance adjustments, i did a .39.4. Of course, the Veyron is very heavy, but it glue's to the kerbs and that's what i like here. I ride the kerbs very heavy, and it's just stay's with me. ...Nice

The SLS is good here too, it has lots of grip.

So I was just looking to shave a couple of 10ths of my race B Q time and thought I'd check what/if my assists were at, and ASM and CSA are disabled?
When did this become a thing?

It's in the Archive thread now, but it was only two months ago that I made this post.
So let's drop the incredibly casual stereotyping and slurs and move on.

Edit: I don't believe that was open to interpretation...
It still is not open to interpretation. If you want to post about how people from any given country behave in a particular way, do it on Twitter, or Facebook, or Youtube, or Reddit, or anywhere that isn't GTPlanet.
You will not behave in an abusive and/or hateful manner, and will not harass, threaten, nor attack any individual or any group.

OK, sorry, I am very bitter.

Out on the cursed Autopolis where the Dr/Ds dwell. There is no law just a living heeell. Anarchy and chaos as the blood runs red. This would change if it were up to sven.... Ok I haven't posted for a while, so this may be longish ( I haven't finished typing yet :p).

So yeh, three races over the last three days, but I just didn't feel motivated to post :yuck:. Went in with the 626 and managed to improve my qualy time a hair. That had me starting P8/15 on a grid with 3 x DR/As at the top and the rest DR/Ds. It was messy. I don't remember where I got knocked off but I ended up dropping to P14 I think. The little Mazda that could hung in there and I finished P11. Lost DR 260 abd finished SR blue.

Take me down to Paradise City where the grass is green and the track is slippy... next day, it was the tank. Couldn't beat my 626 time, but my optimum was a hair better, so i didn't feel guilty. Started P9/15 on a grid of DR/Ds and one poor sod from DR/C. I'm looking forward to the next update.. I'm hoping for a Gr.B Veyron...this is what happens when you corner side by side with an Evo and their back end steps out...:

You see all those cars on the track? They *were* behind me . Should I have one of those bumper stickers that reads "How do you like my driving?". I managed to claw my way back up to finish P7. I saw two orange SRs and finished white. DR went up 185.

Final race at Autopolis, this time I went in with the fake6. Again couldn't beat my time from the Mazda. Started P11/15. The fake6 seemed kinda pokey on the straits, but talk about tight on the curves. I was able to make several passed up the inside because it clung to the inside and changed direction fairly easily. Like the real hachi it can be a bit tail happy, but interesting to drive. I got knocked off again and managed to claw back some ground to finish P11. Two orange SRs and finished white. DR dropped about 400.

A few interesting observations. Firstly, it kinda drives home @Sven Jurgens comments about the penalty system and DR. Two races with two orange SRs in a race with only a few laps and not many sectors to gain back SR. I didn't loose any SR. @Sven Jurgens, what is the consequence of you seeing two orange SRs in the same race?

The second thing was that just to get a better idea what the "correct" lines were, I turned on the line markers . Haven't done that for any other tracks before. Noticed they got rid of the blue and red braking and accelerating indicators, which suits me since they only ever distracted me. I left them on for the races and saw a pattern emerging. Keep in mind I'm racing against DR/Ds, so car control and race craft aren't always exactly stellar ;). What I noticed was that people were quite often knocked off or had contact with people who were zealously following the lines as though there was no other place their car could be on the track when dealing with traffic :scared:.

Another day above DR 1 .

You do know that Bugatti doesn’t make golf carts right? ;)

I did some Interlagos qualifying with the 4C and got a 1:40.2. After I checked the alien car choice of the Huracan, I took it for a spin and got down to a 1:39.6 although I don't really like driving it here. Feels kind of too heavy around Laranjinha and other places for me. I'll likely try a few others before deciding on which to main.

Why the Fit? Why not the Trueno? I will race it but can't help but feel like it's the far less fun option.

Yep, pretty disappointed. I thought the Trueno and Tokyo would go hand in hand. I guess No One Sleep In Tokyo for me.
