Interesting idea. but what happens when everyone ghosts T1 Monza and unghosts at the same time. Half the grid would get shoved off the track.

That’s what I was trying to think about, how many ways can it be manipulated or misused and Do they out number the benefits of having it? I think it could possibly end up being a net positive overall.
 
Which cars did most people in the top10 use in Asia and Americas around Dragon Trail Seaside? Does anyone know?

I hate the pass and slice in front of you slam on the brakes think this is F1 players.

At GW, I had lovely races with players that knew I wasn't going to pass them, yet they picked a line in the braking area so I could hit my marks as well. I even chose to brake earlier when I followed.
One player in a Jag even signalled to let me pass, but I flashed to say keep going, I'm just following and conserving. Nice when players can read each other and just race.

Sweet I'm back to S after 2 easy wins.



Drop down a gear and try to stay to the right, slower is fast through there. Right now I'm at a 1:14.9xx with the Cayman.

EDIt: I said "stay to the left" meant the right. You want to line yourself up to hit the inside curb on the 2nd part of the corner and then your flat out till the next turn.

thats it. any yellow bar connection is now getting 0 respect from me. not only do they lag and jitter all over the goddamn track but then they pull some garbage move. im done with these guys man. no mercy going forward. look at the leaderboard. get these wal mart connections out of my lobby. its far more annoying than the penalty system. this guy says sorry after the race. yeh bull **** dude you didn't even need to move behind me let alone bash me out of the way and then nudge me twice exiting the last turn trying to block or lag who knows. almost every time this week one of these idiots is negatively affecting my race.

Not only you screw up your overtake by hitting the right wall but then you pick the ****tiest line for the final hairpin.
Even then, after basically break checking the other driver and still getting a better exit, you barely even try to move to the side and win on the straight. This is made worse by the fact you knew he had a worse connection.

you had acres of space to the right with good speed. Why you wanted to move left is i cant understand.

As a footnote, did race C last night. managed a better time with the fake6, but I was struggling, and had been matched higher. The drivers were more aggressive and it was mostly bumper cars. Didn't loose any SR but did loose 1k DR getting pushed back. The fake6, not my favourite car and seemed to be getting passed by most cars on the straighter bits then pushed off on the corners :crazy:. Day 1 DR/C :rolleyes:. So far the trophy has been the most comfortable for me.
 
Alsaaaccee here is vid from the cockpit view. had few laps more after that and got time to 1:45.2xx Several seconds to gain there still. But the view is soo good. :) RH tyres BOP on. Saved from actual game, not replay.

I had a double take on the Mustang for FIA. Love that car.
If I start a new game, I'll lose the current silver, aluminium, matte whites and matte blacks from the ME. So, I have that to think about. Other than that, I'll decide by tonight if I jump in the Megane.

Dagnabbit! My connection was fine then drops to two and then one line, middle stint. Had the run in a huracan, that decided to block me for a lap, on worn tyres.
I took to the inside as I faked the outside. 3 seconds for contact. :rolleyes:

All started with a TT literally slowing to walking speed to negotiate the chicane and St. Mary's.

Anyway.

I raced in my 100th race last night. Was hoping for glory (relative) around Goodwood. Took the Evo. Glad I did. Started P8 in a room of C/S and D/S. Good launch but T1 was a tragedy. Went grass cutting on both the outside and inside after momentarily losing control - think of @sturk0167 's clip from yesterday, just less stylish.

So we basically drop to P19. I decided that wasn't the way I wanted my 100th race to end. Cue the recovery drive. Finished P6. No penalties. Blue SR. DR+800. Ta very muchly. I made 2 proper passes. Jumped a few in the pits because 1) the Evo is good on fuel and 2) I spent a good portion of the race sitting in the slip stream of a Hurry Hurry.

It isn't quick. Nor am I. We know that. Here's the proof. But other than L1T1 I kept in on the island and reaped the rewards when no one else could.

Just one race for me last night at dragon trail, was matched with a driver on pole with a 1:38.3, then me second with 1:39.9 so thought it wasn’t even worth chasing him.

Lap one he’s put his car into the wall and I’ve got a 2 second gap behind me, great should be an easy win. Nope he’s glitched back in front of me, I stayed P2 with a 2 second gap either side of me. Most boring 2nd place with clean bonus ever!

So close to DR:A now I can taste it

The last corner shouldnt have mattered really, I had to back out of several overtakes because his car was jittering around thanks to his connection. I followed him for well over a lap waiting, watching his car stutter and slide. I was faster. Getting smashed once i finally did pass on the last lap was just what set me off. Im just tired of laggy cars. Fine on their screen but an annoyance for everyone else they come close to.

Also i was turning left into his car to show my displeasure once we got near the small kerb of the left kink. I doubt i was getting by either way. Also to that other jabroni im sorry you feel that way. I will complain about getting punted final turn last lap every time regardless of my mistakes..
 
Just lost a race because the leader and second came together in the chicane on the last lap. First place then stopped in the middle of the track to let second through and second swerved across the track to push me into the first placed player. Really grubby and stupid stuff.

I saw that through @CapraKiwi's stream that you had trouble out of T1, then had serious issues afterwards...or is it?

If its the race where some guy jumped the start in front of me, then tried to pull to one side resulting in him blocking half the track and me running into the back of him, then yes (same guy that stopped at the finish) Otherwise a different race.

Some people just do dumb moves then do more damage trying to correct for it.

That sucks man. Kinda stuff that kills your will to play...

...while i'm here, intrigued by your avatar, and reverse image search doesn't wanna work, feel like i've seen it somewhere before, what is it?
