Le Mans Race: Started 2nd using the TS050, then outgunned the polesitter in the 908 at the start, that is until I ended up slipping out of Arnage, allowing some HK guy in the 919 who wants to share a bed with a certain Ranko Kanzaki to outgun me into the Porsche Curves. I was so paranoid of Penalties to the point of getting hounded by @CapraKiwi until the corners before Arnage. I then got too cocky out of the final part of the Porsche Curves and got 1 second for that track limit violation, and another .5 secs for the one at the Dunlop Chicane. I fell out of contention after that and finished 5th. The 908 actually had a decent recovery and won the race from that HK guy.

Interlagos Race: Used the R8 LMS for the second time with my shiny new 1:31.366 thanks to the Ghost Download feature. Race puts me on pole, and managed to have @MonkeyMan_707 (streams as monkeymatt on Twitch, and his PSN ID is MonkeyMatt_NZ) and yuyuko_0418 on the same race as me!

AND THEN THIS HAPPENED:

The cause of that moment is an RC F that was stuck in the pits. He quitted before it gets worse...

On the race itself, I had a worse start than the 2nd qualifier in a black R8, then caught up to him and eventually lost out by 0.046 seconds! Got the Fastest Lap though.

What a day for DR upgrades for Capra and @Mistah_MCA! And congrats for @GOTMAXPOWER for attaining MAX DR!

Such advanced tyre management... Really amazing stuff there. I wish I had thought of it... Doing donuts to get them warm, shedding some body work to save weight.

PD has racing technique that real engineers can only dream of...

Next weeks race C is Sardegna Road Track A.. with a tyre strategy implemented too, looks like soft-hard can be used.. seems it’s a one make grX... any ideas/guess as to what it may be?

no idea, but I can tell you that SF19 is very fun there.

Here's hoping I can bust out the Alfa livery for some kimi roleplaying.

Is there a reason why the penalties are so ridiculous in race C?
I'm not even kidding, I've had 0.5 second penalties when recovering from the gravel, coming back onto the track, just for crossing over the kerbs to come back on track.

This has happened a few times at the sharp right corner after both straights where it's easy to outbrake yourself.

There's 0.5 second penalties honestly handed out like candy all around the track, at the outside of the left hander before the last two sets of corners... that little rumble stripe where you go over it and come back... even when I only put 2 wheels over I get penalised...

It's ****in stupid how many penalties are handed out in that race right now.

The silver lining with Suzuka next week is I should be able get the 2000 DR I need to make to A+ for the 1st time as well .I'll probably celebrate with some pumpkin pie  .On another note it's ridiculous there is only one classic American track. Could be a licensing issue ,but still needs to be addressed by PD.:gtpflag:

Another Daily Race review from me. This time in the Audi which is tricky to get right and balance the fuel/hybrid/pace but is rewarding to drive and feels better doing well in it rather than the Toyota.

Finally got some time in this Saturday, Race A has some savage moves by A/S ranked drivers, and I mean savage as in punt to pass

First time. :D
Kinda funny, because I never thought I'd reach it. I thought I would always be stuck at A (or B in the earlier days of GTSport).
The mechanic sounds like an okay GT Sport driver. I don't think he'll make it to A+. Based on his saying about the brakes, he's probably also SR C.

I think you're gonna have to start calling yourself OK+.
*Not trying to plug AT&T. I don't know how to cut a YouTube clip short.

I tried a few A races earlier this week and got punted and pushed pretty bad. I was starting 1-3 ... Finished 7-last ... I tried to race clean but it was no use. Race C were all in all cleaner and more fun generally speaking. Even if the best position I finished was in 6th I think...

I didn't screenshot much last night. But, got a couple of races in. A 9th, and two 7th place finishes. Losing positions in each. Rooms that late were a fairly even mix of A and B/S drivers. Not helpful with my lack of pace, that late.

Then this happened. Not bad considering the A/B mix. Couple of 0.500 penalties in there. Even without them, I wouldn't have won. The pole sitter/winner was lapping consistently at my Qualy pace.

Aaaaand, time for one race today. Bit easier at this time of day, a full 20 car grid, all B/S. Pole sitter had a qualy lap a tenth or so faster than mine. Managed to outbrake him into Mulsanne on lap one, then it was simply a case of consistent laps to build a 7.6s lead, and take the win.

My first ever Gr.1 win, and no' 18 overall.

The overtake that sealed my win . .

DR is now higher than it's ever been before (26,490) and SR is back at 99 after a couple of messy races last night.

This section of the track just kills me. :banghead: Maybe 10 or 15 percent of the time I can get through there properly. :dunce:
Funny cause that's one of my stronger sections of the track. I have my issues at the Mulsanne Kink, and Arnage (hope I spelled those right). Anyway, I'm almost guaranteed a penalty at those 2 turns. Oh, and the 1st turn after the Dunlop curve. Just inconsistent there too.

got my time down to 1:30.964 this morning and i dont know 4 U but im playing with a wheel and didn't feel any change didn't even changed my break balance and the only physics that they have changed its the shifting on few Nclass car ?

I figured there was still debate so I decided to go gather evidence. Here is "Exhibit A"

GR3 Ferrari 458 at Interlagos. Notice how I run over the curbs and the car is no longer sent into a frenzy? "Physics" is a HUGE component, so a change in "physics" can mean a lot. I can't say for sure what they changed, but I am 100% certain it's different. The 458 was not this composed around Interlagos before 1.40. Especially at turn 4, where running over the curbing too much usually meant that you would slide off the track on exit.

My lap times are not awesome, but I didn't do any practice and the Ferrari isn't exactly an Interlagos car. I did change my brake balance from 0 to -1.

I’m gonna Open a Lobby here in a few minutes to do a few practice Daily races if anyone’s interested. :)

Edit: This little Piggy just figured out how to Live Stream on YouTube, Score!! :D
Real E-sports Legends Daily Race Lobby Live later?!? BBQ time for me right now but I plan to be around later!

Fun Fact: Cut Tertre Rouge over the inside and run off nice and wide over the outside on the other side of the track all the way down to the point where the wall gets near the track you‘ll get the regular 0.5s penalty — while gaining 1.5 to 2.0 seconds (depending on the car) which leaves wou with a 0.5 to 1.0 s gain after serving.
