@morgan82 , Since the people here are all selfish, self centred 🤬, who arn't prepared to share, I feel obligated to tell you the secret solution to your problem. Now keep in mind, no one else here will let you in on this... they all know it, but lets face it, they are a mean spirited bunch. Now... are you paying attention? Are you *really*? ... Ok, here goes... the answer to your problem is.........Git Gud!!!! (yeh, I know... I'm going to burn for that one....... :p).

;)👍

That was you? Had no idea, you should friend me. Yeah i did run out of gas mid corner! Man was i peeeved i didn't put enough fuel in.
 Yeah. I mostly race on my RPMcMurphy01 account. I said hello to you and Trone Colby before the race.

It was a challenging race, for sure. I started at the back, and in the first half a lap, I crashed twice, to avoid hitting cars that screwed up in front of me. By the time I got going, I was dead last, and about 8 seconds behind the next guy. It took a long time to catch up.

This clip is me catching up to the next guy. When you start at the back, you should expect to be dealing with drivers like this. At first, I thought he was doing some dirty stuff. Then I realized he was just out of control, and badly needed to turn on his TCS!

I wonder if there's a machismo thing in some places, where it's just isn't considered manly to use TCS, even though many people are obviously not capable of driving without it? :boggled:

I decided yesterday not to race anymore this week.

Less than 24hrs later, I forgot about that, force of habit to complete daily mileage, joined a Race A. Started 6th. Finished 6th. No points but it was OK. Clean race with good drivers. Received a Ford Focus Rally car. Turned the game off.

Or pick an easier car. Not one that you think looks really cool. I want to pick that car too but can't race that thing.

:cheers:First time playing Sports Mode for well over a year and it went a wee bit better than expected, started out 15th at Maggiore and finished 8th ( mainly due to over eager other drivers taking corners way too fast ) then at Dragon Trail I somehow qualified in 4th and came in 2nd..quite fun really and not bad for a sausage fingered driver, not sure about being bumped from behind and me getting a SR down though..but to be honest, DR and SR are not that important to me, I just enjoy the racing and whatever happens will happen

3 races this morning before work, and more consistancy in the Jag!

2 third places, started from 3rd both times.....Stopped for tyres and fuel for both.

Then I started a 3rd race, without realizing I'd gone up to "A".....And chose the NSX for a change, and started 15th for going up to "A"!!

A torrid race, got up to 10th after lap 2, though some tight overtaking...Then had to fuel save, but gradually dropped back, and finished 14th.

At least my rating has gone up well over the last week, but these Race C gr 4 races are tough to fathom!!

Back on it later this evening! ;)

I raced with you this morning! Was in the NSX on a no stop! Wasn’t going to quite keep you behind so gave you the place toward the end!

So it sounds like Rain is actually coming next release. Trying to guess which track we'll see first with rain in the daily races. Here's my odds:

Suzuka: even
Any other track: 1/10,000

Live events use a build that is 1/2 months ahead of the retail game, so if we do get rain, it’s likely to be RBR like we saw at the last live event.

Ahh yes mate I remember, I gave you the hazard lights to say thanks out of the tight right!! I hope to see you again later for some races! ;)

Please anyone here, send me a fr on PSN, HammyMansell1980! ;)

Here's one of those brilliant track re-entries that you can see coming from a mile away, but are powerless to do anything about. I could only hope that he'd ghost, but lady luck was not on my side.

By the way, the Huracan is a terrific car choice for race C if you're into braking really, really early, and you hate nimble handling. 👍

OMG!!! That was really sh:censored:ty. No TCS in a gr4 ain´t that hard, I drive that way and use a DS4

I've had again 3 pretty good Race C tonight in the NSX. Now I'm back in the land of higher SR there's much less disaster and mess. My gains in SR and DR are still pretty small (except my 800DR gain for the podium), considering all 3 races I gained 9 or more places and had no major incidents (there was the usual minor rubbing or braking zone contact that gave me an SR down, and one unfortunate incident in the first race where I braked slightly later than usual and clipped a Huracan that crossed inwards into my path, leaving me no room to avoid).
Particular shout-out to a Swedish Cayman (is it still naming and shaming if I say nice things?) I spent most of my third race lightly battling for position pretty cleanly, which continued even though we pitted on different laps. I had started 11th, avoided all the mess and together we were 5/6th until the pit sequence, in the end I finished 3rd, him 4th. It was an unusually nice race and it was nice to be able to trust the other driver you're battling with (no erratic moves or crazy lunges, which is rare). Meanwhile it seemed everyone below 5/6th were in a battle to the death based on the number of penalties and the increasing gap. If only we could've caught the Huracan in 2nd that was perpetually 1.7s away!

Started doing these race C's again and I've gotta say I love these fuel sip races. They give me a valid excuse to drive even slower.:p

Getting a lot of top 5's with no stopping and had some brilliant races with loads of overtaking and being overtaken in them. Getting chased down by a stopper in the last few laps is addictive. Exhausting, but addictive.

Worst nightmare happened in one race though. A South African with zero bars followed me into the chicane on the 5th lap. Into the wall at 200mph. 7th to 16th and to rub salt into the wound, a 5 second penalty. Don't ya just love lag?
