@sturk0167 i thought i cut you off, was a bit surprised i held on to it though, it was a good knock. I saw the second one. I guess he can't handle more than one real competitor at a time.

I actually made it here with a few minutes to spare, as perhaps you can tell lol not a great idea to have a few fairly intense races and jump in the wagon to get somwhere in a hurry.... i beat the speed limit like a rented mule, i swear if i had a car with real power i would loose my license in a week lol

I’ll be on in a few min, I’m just heading out to pick up my son from work. Then it’s indoors/racing for the next 24h, Dorian must have seen my Target decal.

First place flew off. I'll have that.

Thank you, Sir! May I have another? Dirty, dirty race.... and I ain't ashamed I played in the mud. Hey, P1 was swerving like tandem drifting in front of me and the thrid place car. bumping into us. So, we played too. I hit the pause button more than once. :D Third place smashed him off and I lead from there.

Number of times each class of cars has been used in Sport Mode, since 6/13/2018:

80 Gr.3
78 Gr.4
29 N300
26 N200
24 N100
19 Gr.2
15 Gr.X
15 N400
12 Gr.1
6 N600
3 Gr.B
0 N500, N700, N800, N1000
Gr.1 and Gr.B should be in the top four. Daggone shame.

Gr. B shouldn’t even be in the game in my opinion. The dirt physics just aren't there to make it enjoyable. Unless they're exclusively used on tarmac

Mixed bag tonight. I'm generally happy if I can swing a top five finish. Race number two was filthy, though. Ended up behind an American in a GTR who's idea of defending was to tap brakes coming out of corners, so I'd hit the back of him, and cutting across the braking zone intentionally trying to take me out I was along side him (I know it was intentional, as he didn't do his brake zone sweeping if I wasn't within 2 or 3 tenths) . . Then he looped it coming out of that awkward double apex, uphill right.

I had one race tonight where I started 5th in the Ford GT. Somehow it turned into a 5 car breakaway. First & second were all over each other. Third & 4th were bumping & grinding. And then the chips began to fall into place. Third & fourth go off, so I get to watch 1st & 2nd. By that time, the leaders had settled their fight & there was some space between them. Then, 2nd goes off. A lap later, the leader bins it. Leading on lap 4, it was my turn. Missed the downhill 90* left turn. Got the right side tires into the gravel, the car lost traction & spun around. :banghead:

Couple of Race As in the Trueno yesterday afternoon, and they went very differently.

First race I went in with my poor quali lap from the other day and started 8th, generally a pretty smooth race, got stuck behind a pack I was quicker than, got past a couple, but cut T2 by a hair (seemed identical to my other laps!!) and ended up back in P8. Got stuck there until I was back at the straight where with penalties for others, and going 3-wide into T1 and coming off best, I went from P8 to P3. The top 2 were way ahead by this point, so finished 3rd, although with the clear track, picked up my first ever fastest lap after about 180 races!!!

Had time for one quali lap, and took 2.5s off my other lap, which put me 3rd for the next race. Hugged the inside of T1, and got into P1, but then P2 got alongside into not-the-chicane, bumped doors on the exit trying to give space, and P3 tapped me from behind, spinning me off, and when I reset and got going, I was 11th, P12 must have spun somewhere else. Started moving back up and was right on someone's tail out of T3/4 into the hairpin when they swerved left, revealing a much slower car. I was already on the brakes, tried to swerve, but couldn't avoid and punted him to oblivion, and got a 3s penalty. That dropped me back again, made up a couple more places, and started the final lap P6 behind another Brit who already had a 0.5s penalty. Stayed right on his tail and eventually got past in the last couple of corners, the Russian in P4 then braked before the line (finished last, tanking his DR?), and P3 had a 3s penalty on the line, which I was close enough for, so 1st>11th>3rd, two 3rd places from very different races.

Next week!

Race A: N100 one-make @ Maggiore Center, 6 laps, SM
Race B: Gr.3 @ RBR, 5 laps, RH
Race C: Gr.4 @ Tokyo East Outer, 7 laps, RH, 3x fuel 17x (:scared:) tires

welllllllll, Tokyo East Outer (after a quick yotube search because i can never remember what any of the Tokyo layouts are called) is probably the only one that i'm confident with and actually enjoy.. so that looks like my only 'go to' race next week. If RBR is in the rain then i've got to give it a try but that'll be it!
Hey.. check me out telling everyone where i'll be racing next week.. i've only had 1 race in the whole of this week ffs!!

Just spent a while working through sardegna b again trying to figure it out. I can kind of find a rhythm there butnsomething is missing. I now understand more how people are so frustrated with autopolis. I find a smooth pattern there, don't know why, but it makes sense to me and I 'get it' but somewhere sardegna B loses me. I can lap consistent, but even without sliding or missing points people just drive away from me. Oh well. New week, new things soon

My fault on the first one. I down-shifted when I didn't mean too. Sorry
That Brazilian guy is legit. I don't think I've ever beat him.
If you're talking about Charles, I have to say he's a great friend to have on the track. I've done hundreds of races with him and had zero problems (other than normal racing incidents). Might just be his connection even though he never lags, but I think he uses d-pad.

Sardegna has been kinder to me than I expected, I've picked up about 1100 DR points in the last two days, brought me back to DR/B for the first time in a two to three weeks. Last week didn't gel with me on any track and I had a couple of shockers late in the previous week. That combined with changing from R-stick to R2/L2 for throttle/brake left losing a lot of races.

After nearly two hundred laps off line to practice the new control arrangement and some conservative no qual races, in the last three days the new set up has started feeling natural and I've started qualifying and doing well again. I don't mind not winning, but it's really frustrating to feel like I'm fighting with the controller. It's so nice to only have to think about what I want the car to do without having to think about what I have to do with the controller to achieve that.

Next goal - save up for a G29 or a Fanatec and work out where I have room to set it up.

Never was able to get back on the track last night. Hunting ghosts again this morning, and am really close to lowering my qt for the A race. @Pigems ghost is easy enough to be right on top of or ahead even.... until that last section, i just can't carry the same amount of speed through there. I got all day to try though lol

I must be an idiot because I just tried that and when I load GT Sport it asks me to sign into my PSN account again.

You might have your settings on your PS4 main account set to 'auto login' or something similar... so it doesn't give the option for other accounts. i've got 5 users set up on mine... 4 for me and 1 for my son 👍
