It's also very difficult (impossible?) to come out of the final corner behind a TS050 and outdrag it to the line in another TS050. If you're infront at the final corner, and the other driver is clean, and you don't make a mistake, I think you win. See below:
On a different note I think it's a shame back markers have to be ghosted but clearly understand why.
Variations in ping. What the server sees is slightly different to what you see due to differences in time for position updates to arrive both at the server and at your system. If all three cars were exactly equal on your screen, final positions would be decided by lag. You're in AU so probably 3 yellow bars, the Japanese drivers probably four or five green. In a finish like this it'll likely give them a slight advantage.
It was always pretty easy to drive on the DS4 with good acceleration, countered by bad brakes. Hence I can't stand the car as it was the one that rear ended me the most at Mount Panorama. I guess the updates gave it a higher top speed plus the wide track makes the worse brakes less of an issue, lots of space to save the corner and accelerate away again. The thing also acts like a tank, perfect ram vehicle. Guess who drives it all the time....
Hi Jurgens, what do you mean with ' it drives like a thank, guess who drives it all the time' ?
It's certainly feels lighter than the Mustang for an example.

A certain very dirty Canadian driver uses it a lot and was driving it all week at Tokyo last week. The car seems to be able to absorb and dish out blows better than many other cars.
Only on Saturday night when it was safe to do so.![]()
@Pigems Your times don't show up on my leaderboards for some reason.
When is Tokyo *ever* safe?![]()
Race B. Interesting comparisons in Gr.3 in terms of the lap times that can be achieved and how easy it is to extract, which is key for a racing car rather than just a hot lap. My record is still only a 2:08.7 so I am by no means quick but I'd certainly advocate trying things other than the GT-R. The Huracan is fastest for me but is not the easiest to drive. The Merc '16 is predictable and benign but a bit slower. The 458 is a bit less secure than the Merc but more so than the Huracan. I can knock out consistent mid 2:09s in that with a 2:09.4 within a handful of laps of getting in it, so there's more to come there with a little bit of testing. Sub 2:09 I reckon. I saved a few replays and the comparisons are interesting. I'd also recommend people watch their own hot lap replays to see how the care behaves. You can pick up things about the track from watching the replay that aren't so obvious in-car.
In short, if the GT-R isn't working for you, try the Huracan. If the Huracan is too tricky, try the 458. If that's still too inconsistent, go back to the Merc and build from there.
I await @Sven Jurgens ' table of every car!

I've been using the Ford GT which feels uninspired and boring. I do love the Merc- maybe that's next.Race B. Has any else grown to despise this little section of guardrail that bends in towards the track at St. Croix?
I'm ruined some pretty good laps right there.![]()

Good point. I've definitely left some paint on that guardrail, too.I have that problem at the bridge entry. It seems the car ahead leaves a car width space, so I attempt to overtake on the outside yet the actual bridge is just a tad bit more narrow than that car width right before going on the bridge
It is most effective against wall riding though![]()
