*YOU* made the choice to start up the back. It is *YOUR* responsibility to make a clean pass, not theirs to get out of your way because the way they drive is inconvenient. When your a DR/D or C there is nothing worse than some dip:censored: of a higher level comes crashing through from behind because they feel that's their right. Frankly *I* am a bit tired of people like you who have not got the patience to realise that they have to share the track with people of many different levels.
All of this. There's a reason that in real life endurance multi-class racing the slower classes are told to hold a predictable line so the faster classes can drive around them instead of weaving around the track to try and get out of their way. It's the faster driver's responsibility to ensure a safe and clean pass of the slower car, not the other way around.

Also @Sven4057 you are nearing 600 wins. That's insane! edit: and over 9000 races!

For 🤬 sake YES! It will save the *rest* of us a lot of reporting .

Chill out, man. Where exactly did I say that I'm taking people out left and right as I go? You know nothing about me so don't assume. I always try to be as clean as possible with my overtakes and I have absolutely no problem with sharing the track with lower level players. I used to be one too. It's just sometimes the unpredictability of such players catches me off guard. On this track especially since there's quite a lot of corners. And to be honest, coming into T1, I'd much rather have such players in front of me than behind. Because like you said, there's nothing worse then some dip:censored: who comes crashing from behind and ruins your race.

A+ baby! :gtpflag::cheers:

The bad news is I may need to abandon my main account forever, I'm too scared to use it now

Congratulation man!! Welcome to the club!

I can’t get enough of the Vette at the Green Hell. I plan on running from the back the entire week. Way too much fun moving through the field.

You can conserve fuel with the Vette and not feel like you are crawling around the track.

This is the longest I have spent with it and I must say that I like it a lot.

Sweet!! That means I can use my Cal Naughton Jr. Livery! :D

I was so surprised by the Vette. I did a few laps where I ran it to the redline before shifting, and I wanted to see what the difference to a short shifting lap.

I was shocked to find that short shifting made it faster!!

Regardless of the car I have used so far, I am unable to get down to an overall time of 16:55 (+/-). I tend to be just over 17:00, and that's not going to cut it unless I get favourable matchmaking.

American torque!

I need you two to come a little closer to me, so we can all be neighbors. :) @Pigems @sturk0167

6400rpm or something is where you want to shift in the Vette.

Damn, first attempt in the Vette and I smash all my other times by 2 seconds and 5 seconds faster than last time this combo was on. Love it! 6400 rpm is when the bar is 30% or so I see, which makes it go round in FM1 no problem.

I finished 4th, behind the seemingly rehabilitated dirtiest Canadian. And yep, to win, you need a Supra and complete the race in 16:46 :boggled: My 17:12 won't cut it, however that's from 17th. My lap time was also still 5 sec slower than the winner's second lap.

I'm going to do a few more runs in the Vette later. Want to do it now but stuff.

My list of fastest (2nd) laps so far

8:24.674 (8:29.450) Corvette C7, good on fuel
8:26.391 (8:26.630) AMG, good on fuel
8:27.526 (8:27.879) McLaren BMW, good on fuel
8:27.911 (8:26.374) F-Type, decent on fuel
8:29.074 (8:28.522) BMW M3 '11, decent on fuel
8:29.120 (8:28.387) Porsche 911, best on fuel
8:28.168 (8:25.852) SLS AMG, good on fuel
8:29.628 (8:23.010) Lexus RC F '17, good on fuel
8:30.044 (8:27.639) Alfa 4C, great on fuel
8:30.930 (8:26.510) Mustang, low on fuel
8:30.965 (8:26.160) Genesis, great on fuel
8:31.523 (8:28.119) Beetle, decent on fuel
8:32.082 (8:26.508) Lexus RC F '16, good on fuel

I'm finally faster in the Vette than last time this combo was on. I don't know if it's me or the cars that are actually slower. Those () were the best times, likely set later in the week, a lot while drafting faster players. While so far this week, I've mostly been dodging and patiently sitting behind slower cars. Still, no clue how I got that 8:23 last time in the Lexus. Anyway first to start pushing that Vette a bit more :)

Well put, qualify ffs

I can't believe I'm going to say this but god help me but I had fun at Willow Springs last night.

I still need to pick up some speed best lap 1:19:240..had a lap that was a full second faster going and got a wheel off into the sand in the last turn and ended up planted into the blunt end of the pit wall.

What is everyone setting their brake bias at? I'm running 2 to the rear in the 86GT but wonder if that might not be a bit much.

I’m using -3 BB. Works for me, even tho you would expect a +BB with an FR car. I’m on a wheel.

I tried like hell, this morning. I had one particularly good lap going, where I knew I was definitely gonna be under 1:04, and I was all happy coming to the last of the esses. Then, of course I completely screwed the pooch on the final turn. :banghead:

Since then, I watched your lap guide (thank you) while sitting at work, doing nothing.
I believe next time I try it, I'm gonna start braking for turn 1 just tad bit sooner. It's the only idea I have left. :irked:

I need some help here:

This is a clip from one of my first laps in TT yesterday. As you can see, the car suddenly stops turning mid-corner. What's wrong with my DS4 and what can I do to fix it?

Using a DS4 sometimes I catch myself pushing the joystick up and to the right instead of all the way to the right, so I dont turn as much as I think I should. Also on hairpins where the game is trying to recalculate the steering angle based on the speed the car is going catches me out. Otherwise it looks like a connection issue.

I managed to trigger one. You indeed have to touch the wall as gently as possible while losing lots of time already.

Just bouncing off it and keeping your speed won't trigger it, as I've seen loads of times in the race :banghead: Carefully coaxing the car back to the road is not allowed.

There's two types of wall contact penalties, absolutely smashing into it, or wall riding. The game calculated your contact as being wall riding.

Be careful using the Italia at N24. Very slide and oversteer happy car there. I span out 360 twice and went into the wall several times. The icing on the cake was smashing into a barrier at last place and being given a 5s penalty so I decided to leave the race.

The only positive being that it's fast on the straights. I otherwise like it at other tracks. Also was fine for fuel when shifting at 1/4 of the bar, I had enough to make it before leaving.

What sort of BB would you recommend for Race A, with the S800 at Suzuka East? I was thinking of maybe -1 or -2, since it's mostly just gonna be that first turn where the braking will be done - and since the car is FR, too.

Well, that was Brutal!! It started well enough but I ended up accidentally punting two guys on separate occasions and then ran out of fuel at the end of the back straight lol. Gonna try the old Merc next, I remember liking that car.

I think I had it at 0 or +1 maybe. :)
