I shared it in game so you can find it easily.

I also found those other two I mentioned earlier. :)

I've a couple of NASCAR Mustang liveries in the back catalogue:

They are shared if you want to use them.

Race B is the killer. I get all these penalties and orange arrows for getting bumped, hit, AVOIDING!!!!. I actually back off to let people get a spot and they still find a way to side swipe or bump me. Nothing to do with lag or anything else. Just pure giving no room or seeing that I gave room and they need a little more.
I went from 4th to 13th. Lost 5 spots because a blue Huracan has to think the awd bull deserves the place. Yet, the thing couldn't corner. Held me and an NSX at ransom, while everyone else freight trained to the front.

I started 4th. Finished 4th. It was a 4-way battle for first. FF vs FR. a Megane & TT versus my C7 and an RC F. I backed off and still get an orange arrow because Moe, Larry & Curly can't take it easy.

I jump back in Race C, no dramas.

A month ago I was at low B, for the last two weeks I've been stuck mid C (6500 - 7500 DR). I've just worked out why. I turned TCS down from 2 to 1 and I've dramatically increased the sensitivity on the DS4. It seems I'm still learning the new settings. Re-learning muscle memory takes longer when one is no longer young :irked:
In the long run it'll be worth it. Even though my pace is off in general, when I get it right I can see the end goal and those bits that are right are beginning to happen more frequently. When I do get it right it feels so satisfying :D

B/S and C/S rooms in Oceania / Asia don't seem as clean as I hear happens in the Americas. Still one gets surprises. Got a punt last lap of race B and two cars slowed or stopped to let me back past. Normally in this region there seems to be a lack of regard for drivers from other countries, but my driver is clearly AU and both the drivers that waited were flying Japanese flags. There is honour everywhere, but one may have to be patient to find it :)

Hey Guys, still struggling to put in a good lap at Spa.Put in about an hour of practice AGAIN last night, still not getting it .:banghead: I have a good attitude though,I'll keep practicing even when race 'C' ends Sunday .I don't want Spa to end up being my Nurburgring (KRYPTONITE).I'm at 220.5 now :indiff:....yeah

Just had a horrible race. Wide on T1, lost it on exit of pouhon, and then worst of all clipped the grass approaching the bus stop chicane and went through backwards pinballing a group of 4 cars just up ahead.
Sorry if i ruined anyone's race :banghead:

On the plus side, i did manage to get under a 2:20 quali time :dunce:

@Groundfish your Mustang is ready. Forgive me, it's not an exact replica. The body panels are on the Ford are different sizes and shapes than the Monte Carlo that Jean Girard drove. I didn't bother with the number on the roof because I couldn't find any decals that had the number 5 shaped correctly. I had to hand-craft the 55 on the doors with about a million decals, and just didn't want to do it again.
Win a race with it. 👍

When you add to your collection and apply it to your car, it will change the McMurphy01 name above the door to yours. Maybe you already knew that.

I love this car. Lotta great detail looking closely. I know you told me to win, but my first race today had Lester on pole along with other aliens...
Second race, this one was only slightly less stacked with a and a plus, but I was inspired by the livery and rode to the podium. Had to fend off a very strong driver for many laps...
This was not my best result this week, but it was the best given strong competition... This is for you man, you’re a standup guy.

I was in a zone, literally ran out of fuel crossing the line...It was a great run for me...I shared it up in game, for me right now it was pretty much flawless, doubt I can do better...

Why do I end up in a room with Kei25? Those guys are far above my league

If you're SR 99 and DR A or above, you'll likely end up in rooms with aliens. Also known as a top split room.

I raced with some including Kei25 a while ago without knowing who they were (didn't really follow/know Championship players back then) after looking through old replays. Part of the reason for me ranking up was relying on an A+ making a mistake and finishing ahead of them so that was one perk of being in those rooms.

I don't want that  I'll back off the accelerator a bit more :scared:

God d... it...again with those guys

I've got a towel around my head, cucumbers over my eyes and mud on my face... just another night in the Spa. Went in all James Bond like with the Aston, and managed to beat my 'vette time... by about 3/100s . It felt similar to the 'vette, only a little more stable. That put me on pole .. of the DR/Ds. Reality was P9/20 on a mixed grid of DR/B, C and D. There were 7 of us DR/Ds.

P9 is a pretty 🤬 place to start, mainly because of that bloody chicane! Anyhoo, I manage to get a reasonable start. No orange SRs negotiating T1. I was actually able to take that really tight, so surprised no penalties . Because of the traffic and the inertia I had, I kinda had to go wide at Raidillon, so 0.5s penalty for me... I wasn't the only one :p. I noticed if you go wide on the left side you get a penalty but on the right side, no penalty.

I was short shifting my way around the track, in a kinda lazy cruise, very Corvette like. I found I was able to hold a higher gear through the corners with no Hail Marys. Definitely felt a lot more comfortable with the Aston than with the plastic fantastic. People started to pit around lap 4, I just kept plugging away. Was up to P5 at one point.

I noticed the last couple of laps the tyre fade a bit more, and had to let a couple of people through. Tyres were mush less effected than they were with the Corvette, and I actually made it across the line with no time out! I think I had 0.3 laps of fuel left in the tank. Easier on fuel than the Corvette, for me anyway. P7 across the line! Happy with that 👍. Anywhere P10 or above would have had me content.

Blue SR and DR up over 600. I'm in real danger of another trip to DR/C if I have another race like that :scared:. Another day above DR 1 :dopey:.

That's you? You're a freakin pest, win every race I am in with you without fail!

That is proper great racing, i think he was a touch faster than you but you could run multiple lines and when he tried to do it the tail wagged on the Lambo.

Yes it’s me. I have too many PSN accounts. Thanks for the kind words.

The Citroën isn’t that fast and has this weird understeer that makes it hard to master Spa but the fuel advantage and lower tire wear is what allows me to stay there with faster drivers.

I qualified in the Huracán and got a 2:18.6 without trying too hard but my PB in the Citroën is 2:19.1 after hours with it. The car isn’t that good on Spa compared to the Huracán, the R8 and pretty much everything else...

You'll get one on the right side as well if you go wide enough. I'm not sure where the track limit is though, the only time I've had one there I was almost wide enough to hit the right side wall across the old pit exit lane.

I'm surprised there has been no love for the Genesis for race C this week. I had not seen anyone use it all week so I figured there must be a reason for that.

Gave it a shot on a whim last night....immediately knocked a full second off my best lap time (not saying much as it's 2:21:400...not my best track).

Ran three races with it. Started 8th -10th and ended up with a 4th and two 2nd place finishes.

Handles well, plenty of straightaway speed...just don't abuse the fronts as it tends to understeer a bit...which obviously gets worse as the race progresses.

Plus there is the satisfaction of running down and passing a Mercedes with a Hyundai that can't really be measured. :)

I just got 6 SR for a clean race C. WTF?!

Do you have the replay, there must have been contact. I'm trying to get a contact free CRB after getting two BS penalties earlier (was down to 85) but a Brazilian thought different of it. Bump bump bump penalty bump bump while I was stuck behind a Corvette. Now down to 67. Plenty opportunities to see how much a CRB is worth :banghead:

I liked that one as well, late braker, less chance to get hit from behind :)

Well 3 x SR Down, once from getting punted, resulted in +2 SR for the race. 69 now. Friday aint clean this week.

Yeah I've been running the Citroen too in the race, I've noticed that there's really only a handful of cars that are viable to use in Daily Race C due to the fuel saving that's required. I tried running the McLaren 650S but it's so bad on fuel, was getting passed by everyone. You can basically run the Ferrari on fuel map 2 with no short shifting all race, it just becomes very tricky to keep on the road at the end of the race due to the tire wear. The Citroen is great on race pace.

About the pitstop. I was behind a Citroën on a non-stop. Hé was just in front of me when we got to the busstop. Side by side where he went onto the straight and I in the pits. Pitted on lap 6. Needed 1.5 laps of fuel. Did the stop and on the exit I was side by side with the Citroën. Not sure if he messed up a brzkingpoint or gear but there wasn't an advantage for the non'stopper. Really surprised ! Forgot to save the replay though :scared:

Did one race on a non-stop with Peug VGT and had the same pace as the Citroën. Just a tad trickier to drive.

Edit: now I watched the video. I am not very impressed actually. Perhaps because I don't know the guy. What has he accomplished? He runs...

He was an abused child. He let himself get overweight and oppressed by life. He had a dead end job as an exterminator.

He had enough. He marched into a U.S. Navy recruitment office because he decided he wanted to be a Navy Seal. He was told he was almost 100lbs overweight and seal training started in some ridiculously short time. So, he lost 100lbs in some ridiculously short time frame and got in.

Seal training literally puts you through hell. Aside from sleep deprivation and crippling physical challenges, you have to swim, at night, in freezing cold ocean water. He couldn't really swim and he was negatively buoyant. He broke his knee cap and hid it from the trainers until it could not be hidden anymore. So, he failed on attempt 1.

He came back for attempt 2, knee still messed, he caught pneumonia, was removed from training, and failed attempt 2.

He came back as soon as possible, still not quite right with the knee, and still not quite right from pneumonia, and passed on attempt 3.

He became an exemplary Navy seal and after a few tours of duty, went to work as a recruitment officer for the seals.

He started running and decided to do an ultra marathon, thinking that it was 100 miles of running over several days, which is was not. It's 100 miles in one big run. At 70 miles his body started to shut down. The bones in his feet were broken. He refuse to fail, so he got up out of his chair and ran 30 more miles with broken feet and failing internal organs.

From that point forward, he has become a trainer to the very wealthy and a motivational speaker, emphasizing that the barriers you place on yourself can be overcome if you put your mind into the right head space.

For people who like to push themselves and achieve, he is a bit of a prophet type figure, as in, when faced with adversity you ask yourself "What Would Goggins Do?" Some people like Tony Robbins, some people like David Goggins. Me, I'm a Goggins type.

His book is a good read :)

After trying out the FT-1, I went with the Supra after not using it for months and it's equally, if not worse than the FT-1 on fuel. I had to aggressively save on the last few laps at FM3 to pass the finish line with 0.0 remaining. Position finish is too embarrassing to say.

It's great to drive and I used to hate it. One of few cars I enabled TCS with. It seems physics updates fixed that for me. I watched other people use them and everyone I've seen has stopped so looks like it's only good for that.

I'm not sure if I'll get around to stopping in both. This is definitely a daily race I'd like to see extended another week. It makes sense given the track glitch fiasco.

I'm surprised there has been no love for the Genesis for race C this week.

I've used it a few times no stopping. Solid as a rock but I'm slower in it compared to other options.

A follow up to the discussion about not seeing Chinese players on the track. I just heard this on the news.
China has announced new measures aimed at curbing video game addiction. These are some of the new rules:

- Gamers aged under 18 will be banned from playing online games between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. On weekdays, minors can only play for 90 minutes, while they may play up to 3 hours per day on weekends and public holidays.
- Gamers aged between eight and 16 years old can only transfer up 200 yuan ($29) per month on their online accounts, while the maximum amount for those between 16 and 18 will be 400 yuan ($57).
- Chinese officials will also require everyone to register accounts for online games using their real name and phone number, which will help government entities to regulate playing time.

Oh, one of those guys. It's a great feat to overcome obstacles and rise above your circumstances. I think that is very commendable. We have a few of those here too, some of them also did Ranger School and Seal week.
But maybe this is just a different country's different mentally but in my world running with broken bones and failing organs when it's not a matter of life and death is not overcoming obstacles, it's stupid. Live to run another day I say.

he definalty messed up something out of the bus stop. I have been behind by 3 or 4 sec and car in front pits and i do not car in pits comes out 3 or 4 sec behind me

Got the TT Cup down to a 36.6 around RBR, I think there’s still a few more tenths there but it will take a while to find them. :)
Very nice. I'm most comfortable with the TT, but fastest with the RCF (though not as quick as you!). Unfortunately for every 1 hot lap with the RCF I have 9 laps with "breached track limit" penalty. Not sure I have it in me to improve.

Well, after a few days away from the game, i needed a fix lol

Went to spa in the moostang to just run a few laps. I do seem to enjoy the track more than i remember from past games. Perhaps having the wheel now... Anyway after 5 laps i cut my best time from the other day by more than .4 still only a 2.21.565 but i think i could break a mid 20 with a good long session to learn the track.

This is one of the liverys i use a lot on the mustang, found in early days....
