I'm not going to be making a new account unless my wheel allows me to become an alien, so I guess I'll start last at Autopolis and drive off the track constantly. Thanks guys. I hope I make it back.

Driving off the track won't do much. When I reset my alt account, I used Sven's method, and it worked great.

Drive in the wrong direction, until you see a disqualification warning. Turn around to make it go away. You'll get an SR down. Repeat, over and over.
It's very effective. You can completely destroy your rating in 1 race, without harming any of the other racers. 👍
For the cherry on top, quit the race before the finish.

Maybe other people are just trying to enjoy the game as well. And imagining that a penalty is damage, when the game could just enable damage, seems like a ridiculous thing to ask. Nobody bought this game to "imagine" things.

This is the downside of having an artist run everything, and a frustrated car designer at that. He feels that the car's design is perfection, ergo, no damage to mess it up. No proper wheel and tire +1 and +2 set ups.

All the focus is on the visual quality at the cost of everything else. Even the physics is more about making the cars look like reality than any other reason.

Game design is irrelevant to Kaz. I don't think he has the slightest inkling about making the game fun. It's more addictive by accident, because the physics make it so easy to understand and difficult to master, which is ironically a key element of making a great game.

I meant cutting the corners, but I suppose driving backwards would be quicker. I look forward to it.

Bored of losing? How is dropping your DR on purpose to take wins from lower rated drivers racing “Fairly”? As you put it. Cheating the system is cheating the system, weather its DR or Penalties, so get off the soap box.

Dr dont change the players you racing whit SR do , i have a brand new account and a a+ account i have use both this morning match making give me the exacte same racers ? My new account is B/S my other A+\S same lobby look at V-A-M-A-72 on kudos 11 races 11 win 11 fastest lap 11 pole ;) 12 race now 15929DR

Wow ! GTS has succed and physics seems ok because of hasard :boggled::boggled::boggled:

Car damage is into the game. You can see it in the left down icon. But is desactivated in sport mode and the hard damage is not visible, only represented in red when damaged in the icon and less performances or troubles to turn for several seconds when the car has been damaged.
 
I haven't raced at all this week. But have been really enjoying doing laps on Race A. Focusing on improving QT/getting faster alone. For the 1st time I can remember I'm not near last on my friends list. And feel I can maybe get lucky and pass one of them ahead of me. 3 more days to try. :D

The Golden Horseshoe is nice. It was a bit either/or for my tastes. You either live on the North side of Lake Ontario in the sprawling GTA(which is essentially Hamilton to Oshawa) or you live on the South side which is mostly the Niagara region where everything you need seems to be in the next town over, regardless of which town you live in ;)

Nothing tends to happen around Christmas regardless of the market. Come the new year things should pick up. Price your house a little lower than you should and try to get multiple offers.

We have a sellers market in London and houses tend to be gone in a week or less. If your house isn't selling, it's likely priced too high. Real estate is funny. Even $5000 too much can stifle your sale.

Hehe... No plan to sell since we really like the location - nice quiet street in the burbs, 2 minute walk to Kroger, 5 minute walk to son's elementary school - it's just the house is kind of old and bleh. Bought 11 years ago. The house next door just sold 2 months back for way more than what I would've thought it would. And the new neighbor girl is a grade above my kid at thge same school.

Being a stay-at-home dad means I'm almost exclusively an afternoon player, and also means most days I have at least 2 kids to watch but sometimes 5 or 6 little crazies running around... Makes it hard to race sometimes.

What I really need is a basement... or just a bigger place in general.
 
As i tend to do, i went in to try and hit a new qt after a morning of great races. After an hour of very frustrating laps, where i kept makin mistakes to ruin a new best time. I finaly did it. If i hit a miricle lap i might be able to cut a .1 or so off that, but pretty sure it's my best.

after 23 days off of SR99, I’m back after a couple of clean races at Tsukuba. I also crowned 25,000 DR for the first time, I think.
QT is down to 1:01.1. I can definitely get into the flat minutes before the week ends.

And there it is. 1:00.796. Still think I have a couple more tenths in there.

I just tried lowering the back 10 clicks but can't really feel a big difference. I don't find the Amemiya difficult to drive as it is. Still managed to get a 0.4 better time after the change. Now at 1:01.1. Placebo effect 100%.
This is still a blessing because now I don't have to start next to this Ram:

He ran me off track or dive bombed into me in 4 races and five times in total. I end up last of course and he got not one penalty. Must been a bug.

Now that we were a bit spaced after my better qt I saw him DNF 3 races in a row with penalty. Finally some justice, but i feel sad for those that were around him.

I'm back to DR B again too! Hope I can stay here this time around.

There is better damage on the rally cars of GT5 (6?) I don't remember which one. Anyway, the game could have proper damage but SOMEONE made the executive call to leave it out.
 
I have install GTS after more than a year not playing i tough that i would be much slower and Autopolis was a brand new track 4 me so i did a new account but my pace still pretty good i tink my QL is 1:44.955 but with fuel in and tire use my average lap is around 1:46.5 . This game and daily's re much better than before i just fall back in love with GTS lollll . Need to agree with pigem matchmaking was different in the afternoon we was mostly all the same DR and SR maybe not enough player in morning i saw a A+ with me this morning i was DR C i tink

I'm looking at doing something on New Year's Eve, 12 PM Pacific Standard Time, but not with Gr. 1 VGT cars.

E: Been taking a break from racing and editing this week, so I've been trying to get some stuff done behind the scenes of this event, my channel, and in terms of real-life responsibilities.
 
Autopolis hates me. At least in Gr3. Maybe I hate it? Perhaps it's mutual. I've had good races in Gr2 there. But this Gr3 business? It hates me. Or maybe I hate it.

Regardless, another race finished in the pits so I don't hinder others.
