Well, what do you know. I think I will try that too. I signed up for Ford.I've never done an oval race, and BMB is today in Manu. I might give it a shot just for giggles.
I saw you there twice, yesterday. First time, it looked like you disconnected before the start. Second time, I was the weirdo in the WRX that said Hi to you before the start. I was on my alt account.Man, I got my qualify time down to 1:46:9xx on Dragon Trail and I still can't crack the top 5. Some of y'all need to slow down and take in the scenery. Life is too short to go that fast lol.
I did manage a 1:46:4xx during a race but that lap was fueled by pure rage which is something I can't duplicate in qualifying.
You are so close to me it's uncanny. I may be quicker this week but there's tracks where I can't touch your times. Looking forward to Saturday's races@The_Tullster Congrats on the win. I saw your new qualy time. 🤬! I thought I was closing in on your time. I can see I'm not going to do well on Sat arvo.
I suspect we'll get Bathurst as race C the week after
The receiving of penalties for being the victim was the worst thing - not only did you lose places from being knocked off track, you then lost more from serving the penalty! Result, DR and SR drops through no fault of your own.It is wrong on so many levels. But before the update they could do the same and you where the one who got penalised. Now at least you can defend yourself.
Has it really been that long since we had Gr.3 at Bathurst? Jesus. Please let it be Gr.3 and not 4. That's all I ask.
It still is one of the most enjoyable Race C combos I've had the pleasure of racing when it last appeared back in March 2019. Way more fun with Gr.3 and you don't see yellow Meganes everywhere either.
Last 10 years the Bay Area(San Franciso area) had gone worsen and worsen. I recall driving 50 miles in less an hour and today is 1 1/2 hour sometimes more. (during rush hour from 2 pm to 7 pm). Too many damns bridges and merge. I believe in the next 10 years here will be like LA.I don't even live there. But we still have a ton of traffic here.
Ayyy, Bay Area buddies!Last 10 years the Bay Area(San Franciso area) had gone worsen and worsen. I recall driving 50 miles in less an hour and today is 1 1/2 hour sometimes more. You kind of have to look through the barrier for the line. If you wait until you can see through the second section, you're turning in too late. Some cars will flick through, others kind of won't. 86, M4, Vette, Atenza work for me. In others I tend to bang the rear fender on the outside wall at the end.Holy moly, GT4 cars at the chicane of death are interesting, I still find no line to take it flat out.
Penaly system or not, today was a good day for me. Race B, qualified 2nd. P1 binned CoD on lap 1. I get my second ever 1st place with about 3 seconds clear of 2nd place, smooth as silk all race. Normally I'd bin it within half a lap of getting anywhere near 1st place from nerves, I am so pleased with this.
Agreed, and I’ll add...if someone gets a much better run through there, don’t try to block them on their way by.![]()
Reckon I'm going to stay away from Dailies for a while, maybe FIAs if they degrade too. The penalty system has gone way too far the other way. Just had races where I've had reasonably high level players I'm familiar with just spit the dummy and start punting people off. I tested it and punted a Korean guy that got me earlier in the race and I got nothing. It's just silly.
Had my first shot at the Daily Race B.

But the behaviour of other drivers is very annoying there. Even if you are 3/4 car in front of the others, there is nearly no chance they back up in the chicane. Result is, either you slam your breaks and get pushed out of the way by the following racers or you have to deal with two cars where normally even one car is quiet a bit tricky.
Tested yet two cars.
The Jaguar F-Type is very easy to handle at the Dragon Tail. Nearly no traction problems, fast in a straight line and overall planted when it comes to cornering action.
Supra GT4 is for my driving style not 100% suitable. I have the feeling, that there is quiet some softer set up and the car feels underdamped. As I have quiet some problems with trailbraking, this feature in the Supra hampers me more than it helps for a good lap time.
Thanks to the new penalty system my SR is stable at 99, but DR is constantly falling as you were pretty often pushed out of the way cause of a lack of penalties for this. I may be #23.991 who is stating this, but they need to fix that....

Friendly reminder this is worth 5sec but blasting someone a few times a race isn't.
These wall pens are the ones that needed to go, I don't need to be kicked while I'm down. I know I've made a mistake.
Through what channels does PD receive feedback from players? Surely its there in some form as the current penalty system seems like a strong reaction to the complaints of the last setup? I do doubt they've got a staffer scrolling through here though.
I can say that I did see someone getting a 4 sec penalty for barging in and pushing me wide in the esses last night, but again nothing for other stuff like rammed full speed into the wall or rear ending me into the COD. And yes, they had a better exit from the hairpin but were only just catching me there, and this was the entrance not exit so I am full on the gas. Still went full punt,
