Nice, but I prefer this little number myself, from when I was a wee lad, all snot and strawberry jam! I hum it while racing, thinking the lyrics say "Move Your Bodywork" for Race C this week, fairly combative! :lol:

 
As much as I said I was looking forward to Gr. 3 at Big Willie, these cars almost seem to be too big & powerful for the track. The Ford GT is more of a snow plow here than I expected. I only got it down to a 1:13.000. Yeah, flat, on the zeros. :bowdown:

Edit: Been slicing it down. 1:12.995 & now 1:12.757. But man, it's still a lumbering beast. :scared:

The guy in the the white car called me trash after the race. I didn't think I touched him. After watching the replay, I'm still not sure. :confused:

I didn't see any contact in your replay. It is possible that he knew you were there & tried to give you space & offed himself. I've given space at BW & ran myself out of track. Yeah, it's frustrating & the only person that you can be mad toward is the guy trying to split it up the middle, whether contact or not.

The guy in 3rd was all over the place the first lap. Iā€™m not someone to punt him off, so I was being patient and got dive bombed by P5 as I finally got overlap and was trying to pass him Lap 2 T1. I held it on the track, and then he finished me off on the long sweeper. Ran a good couple laps, and then someone went off and flew back on right into me at the end of L4, effectively ending my race.

I gain DR when I run FIA and lose it in the dailies. It is what it is, I guess.

edit: I should say I lose it in Race B. I think Iā€™m just better suited for longer races, as Race C is usually better for me

edit 2: @NoStopN that is a frigginā€™ smoking qualifying lap BTW. Nicely done.

Thank you. I'll likely upload it in a video sometime this week. Pigems & MCA still are ahead of me on my friends list. But @sturk0167 is slower. *insert maniacal laugh here* MCA has a replay available in game in case you want to see someone else go 0.8 faster than me. :lol:

I just watched the replay & I can see that the 3rd place qualifier was a loose nut. I suppose I got lucky. With that good QT, I'm starting either 1st or 2nd in all of the rooms so far. But more importantly, I'm gaining DR. Gained about 4150 points, so I'm back over the magical 20K (actually, 21K). :gtpflag:
 
Race C is fun, if you can avoid the punters. Attrition seems high. My last race had only 8 finishers with 11 DNF! If you donā€™t use Gr 2 cars very often, Suzuka can be a cruel test. It also seems to be a great example of ā€œOne hot qualifying lap is not a reflection of race paceā€ so donā€™t be put off by those hyper low qualifying times. Then again, I may be wrong........usually am, alas.

Thats right. Yesterday I was starting 2nd with Q 1,49.381, guy on pole was 1,48.8xx, so I just hoped to survive 1st lap and then maybe just follow him and keep my 2nd place. He was in NSX16' and I in Lex16'. Race started, lex is better on acceleration so gap gets smaller, he knows it and desperatly trying to not giving me slipstream, from left to right, takes inside on 1st corner, and it it was mistake:) As he goes inside, I got better speed on the outside, perfectly take turn, pass him with no contact on inside aproaching 2nd corner(he go bit too wide) and it was the end of the race. I got so much better pace that on the end of 2nd lap I was 5s ahead, and still growing:) Pitted on 5th lap with 11s!!! gap to 2nd. Took hards, some brit made fastest lap which belongs to me!!!;) I think he was 2stopping and got fresh mediums, so I do the same on 11 lap. 12 was outlap so I only got one last lap to show whos the boss;) All sectors blue, so thing going really well until the Spoon, I spin:D Luckily I was so far ahead of Nsx that he couldnt catch me, finished 5s ahead. So yes, Q time doesnt always mean that someone is fast in the race. I think its all about psychology, this Nsx guy was so focused on defending and pushed the pressure on himself that finnaly loose the race in 1st corner:)
