Qualified for A and C. I don’t know that I want to race A, so I did one Race C before I connect for work this morning.

I went in with a 1:39.3xx in the Lancer which was good enough to start in 6th in a mixed A/B room. No stopped it...took a couple of limits penalties at the usual spot as I got used to the tire wear. Almost half gone on the fronts by the end. I think I might try the 4C out as my actual race vehicle to see if better tire wear helps. Switched back and forth between 4-7 positions because of the penalties and the like, and made a couple of good fake outs to get people to miss their apex on the last couple laps to finish 5th. (It’s amazing when you can get people to do when you fake a check that your tires can’t cash.).

Picked up like 700 DR that I had lost last night. We’ll see if I get a break to add more back later.

This is a good performer as well. However, I still can't manage front tyre wear on the FR and AWD cars. Well, cars heavier than the 4C. Haven't tried the 86 yet.

The Genesis is sweet. Point the wheels where you want the car to go. It brakes hard. No push under acceleration out of corners. Tucks in like a Mustang, but with slightly softer suspension. I'll run the 4C tomorrow with this new qualy time. Done for the night.

My Genesis is in time out after its performance at Suzuka last night.

Urgh. Sigh.

3 straight repeats again. Why PD WHY!? There are enough options to not do repeats. I like the Camaro but jeez perhaps let's try I think on another track - live a little.

Gr3 at Suzuka - wow revelutionary
Gr4 at Interlagos - wow revelutionary!

Gee I never done those races before.

The game I should already getting boring, especially with lack of new content only for PD to use the same combinations... especially ESPECIALLY with coronavirus going on **** me try something new PD. I would like to meet the people to think this is okay. Are they stupid? They don't even utilise what little content there is.

I could literally create new races that haven't been done before in like 4 minutes. Also because theure combos we've done before ppl remember and use the meta cars. It's just getting silly now. Asseto Corsa is gonna take a lot of players from GT. I don't even need new content just more creativity from PD. Otherwise I won't play and I won't rush out to buy the next GT when that releases in 2036 no doubt

The Genesis handles great. Mustang would be my choice here though if my life depended on it.
I won several last time out in the Hyundai.
Lots of cars work well here, but if you turn on tcs 3 in the Stang you can cover everything on inside and win the drag down the straight.
It’s crucial though in the Stang to enter slow and tight, cutting off your opponent and neutering their ability to carry speed.
I’ll be running the 86 because I like driving it and I will try to hound the power cars into running wide so I can slip inside.
I’m really worried about the run uphill up the straight, because no power, but we will see later when I race.
Also AC won’t take many players, but when ACC comes out it will take some, and all the good ones if there’s a good pen or safety rating system. Plus if they dlc gt4 into the game, and maybe an open wheel formula or 2...
Edit on tcs 3 the Moostang loves a little throttle just a bit in medium and slow corners.
It will tcs blip a bit and turn tighter.
You got to not hit it too hard though in the tight corners just a little.
The tcs works great to ‘hustle’ the car on tight insides.
Also does it last turn up the straight if you don’t just mash loud pedal.
Added benefit is ability to sustain severe contact at higher speeds and not lose control.

February's update brought BoP changes to Gr.4 which has shaken up the meta from what I've seen. Far more WRXs and very little F-Types. It was also a fun combo before, no reason it can't be again especially in light of recent changes. I think it's an interesting one to revisit because of that.

I missed Maggiore East/Camaro which was used exactly once before so I'm looking forward to it myself.

Suzuka! So happy to run a track all week that I spent half of my day logging laps on for the FIA race yesterday, only to get rammed into from behind on the last lap and wrecked twice (and once I got penalized for being off track).....the repetition in this game is nauseating.

What's with the Megane Trophy on Race C? Is it waaay better in terms of tire saving compared to other cars ??? I've played 3 races and by the end of each race the Meganes become really fast ?

My latest race C was won by a Viper with a Ferrari on second followed by a Lambo and a BMW. Then me in a Mustang.
All the above. It's the driver. I'm getting smoked by that WRX. When I used the 4C, I'm came through the field as the tyres wore just about evenly. So, the handling was consistent and I got right on the back of that WRX. Legitimately, from watching the replay.

That player was downshifting, at certain slow points, to 2nd and right just before the apex, selects 3rd gear and powers out. Plus, the WRX turns so tight on acceleration out of corners(even when I drove it), it's a weapon in the right hands.

The NSX and 458 are problems as well. Those two manage tyres every well. Similar to the 86, but those two MRs have top speed.

Mustang is just awesome. StilL, ME..I have to manage the fronts a bit more.

All I can say about the Slophy is, that thing is blindingly fast at this circuit. It's really come alive. How the heck that thing was catching me on the two main straights, I don't know. Barely worn tyres, still shouldn't allow it to keep up with the power cars, through mid-range power.

Anyway, the fast players again, can get the most out cars. There hasn't been a One Make, from "them", in my races so far.

I don’t think I’ll race anything other than a 4C at Interlagos at this point. Only 20% wear, maybe, at the end of the race. I was at 40% in the Lancer and Genesis (that naughty thing).

Jesus - this evening is a Puntfest... I thought my 1.39.450 I have done in a few laps would be enough for top10 start and work my way from there.

First race I started from P15, had a lot of bumps and scratches with others just to keep on the track No respect for the others... finished in P11 but lost 16SR in the process.

Second race, entered just with the objective of improving SR. Started in P12 and wanted to keep it clean. I just got between 4 Meganes which were fighting like in a demolition derby. Of course I was bumped several times, got a penalty in the process, then forced wide into the grass in lap4. Forget about any racing - last 7 laps I just cruised and avoided anything just to limit the damage to SR. Not managed - I am SR 73 at this.

I won't touch dailies anymore, I will only try to get back to 99 SR by tanking DR and that's it.

Hi! Race C is great I think. 86 is very good on tyres if someone ask me:) Just finished one where I was chasing spanish guy for 7 laps he was in Megane, when I passed him on main straight he did that:

Im curious of your opinions, I think it was dirty and on purpous...

I think he just missed his braking point. That wasn't as egregious as I have seen.
And what about hitting my doors when I was passing? You think it was mistake? I can upload replay with different pespective/camera. Also look that he starts to brake after punting my back... For 7 laps I was so clean and respectful and dont even touch him...

My fronts where about half red. I was at p3 as most but then the tires fell off.
I started at BB 2 but changed to BB3, should have started like that.

I was driving with the same results. But if I put the brakes on BB3 it gets really slippery going into the corners. Luckily I had a good lead and pitted at the end of lap 8. When I get some more credits. I'll buy the 4C and give that a shot.

Ok. I won't argue with you. If you say he was dirty, then it is so. Happy?

the door contact i dont have an issue with especially since it really did't cost any body anything ( no ptly or off track time)

but players now know there is no penalty for ramming from behind and that is why he did it and that is whats ruining the game

If you're in a field where people bump/make mistakes or incur penalties then it opens things up.
Definitely. That's why I'm placing emphasis on qualy position. Also, pick your battles. If fighting someone is going to increase the chance of cars behind catching up, it's best to be patient and/or just finish behind the car ahead.

I'm not saying admit defeat or anything like that. Could be more about learning how people drive and gaining some respect for the next race. Trust me, a few drivers yesterday, saw how I race(I'm getting more greetings of Nice to see you again) them and they were respectful and patient when I was struggling a bit. I gave room, didn't block and we still built a gap to cars behind.
