Bwahahahah

Jumped into race C, after only staying on the track for the section before the hairpin once. No confidence at all, and a poor lap landed me p5 qualifying - dr - b / Sr - a. Oh boy

Everyone was just as bad as me lol. Actually was a great race finishing p7 haha

so if your worried about ur Suzuka skills, and ur not high dr, jump on in! 10 practice laps in traffic lol.

Ended up being clean for me too so fixed my Sr yay!

goodluck out there folks!

Don't usually meet any GTP members in the dailies, but had the pleasure of racing with @LVS_1986 in race C tonight!

Made up 8 places in the race, despite getting a 1 second penalty after being rammed in the rear, and then a weird 1 second 'Forcing a car off the track' penalty in the pits - there was nobody close in front or behind me when I pitted, so I don't know what that was all about....

Been doing a bunch of Race A, actually really enjoying the combo, the Porsche is very chuckable and on the limit around a lot of the corners at tsukuba
Great fun and unless I find a really quick player quite fun to overtake once you've done 20 switchbacks to get alongside

And OMG after thousands of races, over 2 years of playing I've finally managed to get 15 clean races in a row, thank god!!

Ended up doing at least 5 race C today. Overall good day of racing and fun.

Figured things out a bit and got qualifying down to 1.49s. Know I have much to learn.

Overall clean and fun racing. Didn’t get the bad end of much silly stuff, and when there was chaos or roughness, I came out ok.

+ any light SR hits I took was easily trumped by clean laps. Carnage doesn’t seem to hard to avoid if that’s your aim, especially once the field spreads out. But also been lucky

Enjoy the track, and 99% of loosing positions or gaining positions - was mistakes by me or others lol.

goodluck

There is a player we matched few times and everytime he took me out deliberately. He ruined 3 races. I didn't go for the revenge but the fair thing is to take the revenge i believe. What's your suggestions?

Edit: I got an easy morning win at Race A by the way. I must consider racing gr4-3 cars.

Edit 2: Consecutive 3 victories and a 3rd place finish. Mostly clean. If you can avoid the t1 carnage run for ur life...

If it happend 3 times... I would take him out after first one, but maybe Im not the right person to listen to:lol:
I lose too many sr pts too many times beacause of revenge, many people also can call me childish... But thats the way I am:cool: Kill him once and see if it changes anything.....

That was strange race, I also got penalty of 4s!?, all I did was slightly contact in the esses with car in front, he didnt go off track or anything... I would call it bump draft, but game says: youre dirty!
I dont know if it was you, but I saw the guy who started on pole fight with someone entering the pits, trying to pysh off track and ended in the barrier... So if it was you, game blames you:)

First stint at Suzuka was absolutely wild tonight... cars off the track everywhere, and it wouldn't be a GTSport video without getting a penalty for being in the path of a spinning car! Apologies to pipewrench477 for smashing into them at 130R on lap 1, was not expecting them to keep braking there...

Before considering retaliation I suggest you watch the replay from his point of view. If he is full on brakes or trying to avoid it's just bad driving. If no braking it's on purpose and I suggest taking him out once to see if he stops. If not then punt on sight.

accidentally qualified. I wanted to run from behind to rebuild my SR but started as p9.
Om lap one coming out of R130 at full throttle in 6th I put one wheel on the AstroTurf and made a double spin... Without touching the barrier on the left even though I went that way.
So now DFL and pushing hard. Pit on L5 for tires and keep up the pressure.
Pleased with the outcome considering L1. And SR back to 99, inspite of a .5 track penalty.

Race B ain't worth running unless you like losing SR, Redbull ring aka Dive-bomber's Paradise.

Well it seems the "dive bombers" paradise was either playing "nice" or I picked a quieter time as didn't see much incidents in my race (many cars in sand traps because they don't know how to "brake") my SR was 21 points start of yesterday and now...

Cannot for the life of me get a decent time in the RCZ but the recovery campaign continues!

That’s why it’s great to have an alt account, you can always race no matter how bad it looks, while your main account is safely tucked away. :)

It’s great for practicing tracks you don’t know well or aren’t good at yet too. 👍

Not a bad idea
While I do get what your saying, did you drive the real car as hard as you’re attempting to drive the one in game? It’s not really a fair comparison. :)

I think they try their best with what they have... lots of stuff is "off" when it comes to how realistic things are. I rag on a c7 grand sport in real life it definitely feels better than the c7 stingray they have in game, worlds difference, imo..

Btw, really really fast time in that 911! Lol I spent a good hour trying to catch you finally gave up  swear I had it few times and then binned it on final two turns one or the other.

What track did you get streaky? Taken me a good 700+ and I just hit 10 clean race streak few weeks ago.... almost impossible. Hardest achievement in the game, lol!

The physics for the 993 are a bit broken, know a few people who owned them and got to drive them, the tail does not unpredictably snap in 3rd while at full-throttle.
To be fair, that track is a very like cambered track but all over the place, so I think it's more your on the edge of grip especially in the left hander before the hairpin, and the track falls away and with the rear engine and slippy tyres it just required a balancing act to keep it driving forward
Its not unpredictable though, but you have to be on that edge to go fast, and when you go over that edge it doesn't go slowly

For the clean races I did race A even with a lot of battling it still worked because you don't se to get penalties much there, and dont go off track and your good
Also I'm top split my Quali is a 1:03.415 so I'm in the front few positions and as a group we pull away and usually were too fast for our own good cos it's nearly impossible to pass haha so just follow the leader for clean races, I'm up to 18 now it's mental haha

That's about how I got my 10 at Spa. Couldn't even imagine getting a hot streak going in Daily Race A my experience with those street cars is awful. Slower the cars seems like people want to make contact a lot.

I just do time trials for race A then nope the hell out of there

Congratulations to those can drive the Porsche with tcs off. I can't finish a clean lap without the tcs aid on 2.

While it's a deathtrap, with careful throttle control moderation through corners at speed and after braking, it isn't bad once you're used to it. It's not a car you can smash the throttle down without caring.

I haven't tried a race yet but I'm going to guess it's bumper cars.

Correct, i thought the same, but started with TCS 2 lowered to 1 and eventually been able to turn it off. But if im honest, im 2 seconds of the pace of the top in the region. Saw those replays and i dont know HOW on earth the can jump so quick on the gas, but will keep trying. This race provides less overtake chances than previous A race from last week.

Well racing from the back at Suzuka is tougher than I expected because it's like this a lot.

I actually had a decent start but had to go slow because cars in front are going slow and battling and then bang off you go, so typical. Then that driver later ends up 6th because of the following. :ouch:

Now that is obviously an accident and they wait for the other car but maybe the penalty system might want to think about giving a penalty for this kind of thing. :banghead:
