@GOTMAXPOWER my worst nightmare being on the alt account in full out SR recovery.
Then getting stuck in a lobby with you and the other aliens. Awesome to see you on the track.

Started one car ahead of you. The purple Aston. I Finished 7th. You got up to 4th i think.

A combination of being competitive but also trying not to get in the way with my cautious driving.

Alas still got a red S.

I get FL and stay ahead for the last lap. A/red B for me. It's getting tired. I just want to race without the blatant tapping.

My position is I don’t mind a slight tap here & there. But if you hit me because you messed up in a corner/chicane, the game should allow me a little return fire. I would say that those drivers should “take their mistake like a man”, but then I remember that there are a lot of children playing, so....

And those children are the ones that usually curse at you in order to sound tough.

You make it sound like I'm a really dirty driver

That was a strange race, the McLaren spun me at turn 1 early on so I pitted a lap earlier and gained 5 places, it's so much quicker when you can drive on your own because 2 wide compromises you badly through the chicanes.

Hahaha. Gosh no, clean, but quick, but with the penalty system as it is. It's tough to have close racing without losing SR.

I was taken out on lap 3, then again on lap 6. Ended up in P14 trying to recover all the while doing my best not to make any contact with anyone.

Not really had much of a problem keeping my SR, yes I could loose a little but fairly straight forward getting it back, now DR on the other hand has been like rocking horse ****, I have finally got back to DR C, after 12 days of hard slog, and picking the right time to race, I'm still about 3000 short of where I was but it's more of an achievable target now.

Race results thus far...Starting Monday...
4-6-5-6-5-10-(last temporary insanity to sr B smashed myself into wall on purpose let field past-embarrassed)-1-to sr A-2-3-1-back S-1-1-1
All Ferrari except one victory. No significant incidents beyond getting bombed t1 which released the anger sharks swimming in my head. I’ll probably jump in again for a couple this morning...
I’ve basically held even overall on dr. Yesterday’s mistaken entry as sebastes resulted in I think plus a couple hundred-net zero for the Bass or maybe slightly down.

To feed my urge to race and trying to stay clear of the Saturday afternoon carnage I just went on arcade to look at next week's dailies and mmmmmm.
Race A, is very short used the clio RS, don't think the race is long enough to get the tyres warm, lol.
Race B, is back to trying to find a FR, MR car I can keep going in the preferred direction, think I may have sussed it with the 911 RSR, don't particularly like the track, but I'm sure I will manage, as long as the racing is clean. :D

I had 3 great races at Seaside this morning, however SR was only going down. Apparently it's impossible to do a race there without an SR Down from someone either crashing in front of you or getting hit from behind when avoiding a crash in front of you.

Then 4 races at Monza, same thing but there one penalty is still a little bit of positive SR. It's a lot dirtier at Monza than Seaside though. Green and Blue flags diving everywhere, orange and red connections jittering all over the place. Then get called dirty by people you never touched (their lag makes your car brake much later on their screen, not much you can do about that). The record today was an American driving around with 1476 ms ping...

In the 3rd race I was in a great position for a victory (still in SR.B) when an Argentinian who already rammed me earlier in the race (delivering me a penalty and later another SR Down with a brake check) decided to pit a lap later so he was in front of me again lap 6 when I came out of the pit. I pass him on the way to Roggia but he decides a dive bomb on worn tires is the best course of action. I try to avoid but he still brushes my car while flying on into the blocks, another 3 second penalty. With the victory now out of reach I figured this guy already cost me 30 SR, he's not going to finish this race... He didn't, DR reset for me, worth it.

Last race, fighting off the crash kiddies, victory with FL and 12 sec lead, +2828 DR (from 3K, 1328 + 1500 to DR.C) and +29 SR to 30 despite the mandatory SR Down for driving at Monza. (No penalties at least)

Enough for now, tonight Tokyo South to probably go back to 99 SR in one race

Anyone else notice something odd about the movement of the people at the bus stop/COD during the lobby background animations? Not a fan of their arm movements. How they grab the fence, block the sun, point, etc. looks like something different to me - particularly when a whole bunch of them do it at once...

Oh so tempting to take the main account for a spin around Monza.

Last 24 hours, my alt account went all the way down to SR 1. Only just recovered back to SR S. A clear warning if ever.

From A/S to D/E in the space of 3 races... but hey. Stubborn old me...

But literally only 8 wins away from my 91st win. So tempting.

Morning race report. I raced six times. 1-5-3-5-3-3.
I had one driver (tt of course) who was a I’m taking this inside at turn 1 no matter what fella. He got by then brakechecked the crap out of me in the middle of the chicane (t1 t2 lap 4). Whatever idiot. I’m still 99 never dropped outta s.
The racing has been off the hinges insane! Outrageously fun with mostly South Americans. Last race some cat was on pole in a Viper like 44.7? I was second. By race end FL by him was 44.9!
I hung with him a bit but by lap 3 he was gone and I had a Brazilian in a jag on my bumper through the chicane of peril. I hit the exit outside wall but he boosted me ahead so I gave back the place final turn end of lap 3...He got a 1 second penalty though so I waited lifted and let him by before the bottom of the hill and said sorry.
LOL just watched replay and I didn’t bin it! He was on my bumper flatting it in the jag and upset the Ferrari over the inside curb!
Lol shoulda kept the second spot but we had been racing clean the last 2 in a row...
Lotta compliments and pats on the back in most races crept the guy who brake checked me. Made a comment but he left chat immediately, wimp.
I have to say this pen system has produced the best racing I’ve seen in gr4 Seaside EVER!
My heart rate and Adrenalin are through the roof and last couple it started slowing me down a bit. Might race again later...
Cheers

Ran 2 races with you way up in front... back benchers were playing rough as well. Gained a couple of spots to finish around 6th the first race. Second race was when you picked up about 5 seconds in penalties and I got Punted to DFL in turn 3 of Lap 1. Spent the rest of the race clawing back a couple of spots. Race 3 started higher on the grid/P2 in a lower DR lobby. Highlight of that race was getting a barge pass by a TT on Turn 1/Lap 3. He then brake checked me going into Turn 3 forcing an emergency swerve and cutback which put us side by side going into the sweepers - I had the inside for the first one. Brake/downshift a touch early so I can make the apex and watched him understeer wide into the grass. No issues for the remainder and finished P2. 3/3 CRB

Nerf liveries have been attracting too many punters...

I tried to friend ya but it’s blocked...
It’s really tough leading when you haven’t raced those same guys before. First couple we had the same crew, makes it nice. That I think first one with you was so tough, I didn’t know if I could trust them. That American who won is totally unpredictable, the South Americans know how to race better, today.

Same - Now following but was blocked when I tried friend request.

Alt account for Dailies. Normal account for FIA and GT7. Only took the Nation's and Manu races for me to rise back up to B/S. Ridiculous.

Next week's Dailys can beat up that E/B account. If you see "t86ix", that's me.

Screw worrying so much about SR for now. FIA is over, so now I can just race. Doesn't mean u am going dirty, just not going to bother with panicky super cautious racing to try and stay near 'my' split for the points races. Time to really cut loose at Alsace next week as I normally love the group 1 combos but hate that GP circuit more than I hate Fuji.

I do the warm every time, gives me an idea of who I'm up against & a little reminder of which track I'm at
Just had a run of 3 clean races at DTS, time to retire for the evening, ha.
Just to add to other posts, the Lexus really is terrible, how i get it on the podium is anyone's guess

Coming back to GTS now, I tried ACC for a few weeks, but still a buggy game and my old 1st gen ps4 won’t do justice to that great game, at least not at the moment.
Did 3 B races today and with all the well known issues on daily races. GTS is simple really fun to play. Hard to beat battling against humans instead AI (great AI on ACC btw).

Agreed. Put ACC down. Getting my "GT4" fix in GTS... for now. ;)

Well that’s it for me for this week. 26 races total. 1 in Viper the rest in the Ferrari. I captured 9 victories, and I think 8 or 9 podiums...I just did the last one finished third, FINALLY, Im raced out. My prediction at weeks beginning did not come true, I was never spun or offed. The gr4 Ferrari is a great car to use there.

86 is going pretty darn fantastic. Chuck it into all the turns and it sticks. Brakes don't feel that strong, but mid-corner and exit acceleration are awesome. From GT-R to Vantage to 650S, I was chomping or their butts and leaving them behind. Only a WRX was eating into my performance. Those things have wicked change of direction and exit speed.

Agreed on the WRX. I have been running with the Vette and vantage but was still pretty hard pushed to beat the time I set in the WRX very early in the week. Despite the bounces around the exit of the COD the Scooby is amazingly planted.
