That Scirocco has given me Pole Position all night. Tried the NSX. Starting on RH isn't the move. I get it, but jeez. Can't people pass cleanly?
I give all the room in the world. That doesn't mean take the place of my car as well.

Last race in the Scirocco. Three non stoppers in a TT, Vantage and I think another TT were able to pull away.
I had a clean 458, that I race earlier, battling with me and another 458. That one hits the other 458 and spins it. I go through the ghost and get 1 second as another TT caught us. I side bump the TT to avoid the car spinning.

Moving on to Race B in the RX-VISION.

Wow Race B from the back is a barge-fest at my level... 3 races in a row I’ve had SR downs due to being sideswiped (and of course punted from the rear into turn 2/3).

I usually like this track, but I guess it pays to start from the front!

EDIT: Ouch, Race 4 I’d made up a few places on the first few corners, someone ahead bounces off the wall & spins across the track, I go wide (but still where they’re heading) just saying GHOST... and they don’t, so I slam into them and get a 4s penalty & end up near the back again.

Late post from last week's races, but was out of the country all week and only had a chance to sample the Dailies on Sunday.

The race at SSRX was disappointing. Great idea, was a blast in the FIA season when the penalties were turned off, but two races and a DR reset would be way too likely. Lost 22 in one, getting hit twice and having a guy jump in front of me mid-turn so that our bumpers grazed each other for a third... so stupid. Shame, it otherwise is a really fun race, and I'd have loved to run a bunch of them.

Nice K' Speed Score booster, though... simply run a two-lap qualifying stint for a QT that is only 1.000679 as a ratio of the top time in the region!

The Ferrari race at Autopolis is a nice combo... that's a good car to race there, as it really rewards proper driving with careful entry speed and early throttle on exit, which is what Autopolis is all about. I enjoyed only one race, but was able to make up some spots after the start, without much practice, just staying within the car's capabilities and defending once I made it past people. Would have enjoyed more of those races, too, if I'd have been able to.

Last week i reached a milestone, 100 wins ! Nothing beats experience in this game, i was way worsee when i started ,sometimes i watch my old replays, damn i was hot garbage :gtpflag:

, i used to drive with 2-3tcs all the time, now i dont turn it on at all regardless the car im in ,And yes I’m driving MT now , the extra acceleration out of corners and engine braking for extra rotation gets me every time,👍
Feels surreal that Now I’m closing in 80kp speed

@Pigems was always my reference since i started so being a couple of tenth faster occasionally these days makes me feel on top of the world .still nowhere near perfect but I'm working on my edges,

now maybe work not re entering track blindly when you go off and t-boning the 2nd place car as he is going by and knocking him off and giving him a 1 second penalty in the process. Ohh and FIX YOUR CONNECTION!
 
When u see a car off track , it simply means the driver lost control, I’m not sure how I’m supposed to join ”safely” ask pd to improve their ghosting game., or you should up your awareness , you cant just assume the car will ghost itself for you to run through it ,well in tht case it didn’t , you either learn or continue to rant about something tht happened days ago

When u see a car off track , it simply means the driver lost control, I’m not sure how I’m supposed to join ”safely” ask pd to improve their ghosting game., or you should up your awareness , you cant just assume the car will ghost itself for you to run through it ,well in tht case it didn’t , you either learn or continue to rant about something tht happened days ago

I've enjoyed race b today even with all the punts .

I have even managed to rebuild my dr and got SR back to 99.

It really still surprises me the amount of people that are divebombing into corners .

I had one guy ram clean off track on last bend ( I saved and watched replay twice) clearly on purpose he had a 6 second penalty as it was the last lap I guess he just wanted to ruin another players race.
 
Brilliant week this week, big thumbs up from me. I swear PD must have watched my never ever used video as it seems a bit weird for this track to suddenly make an appearance!!

Have a fun week folks :D! I'm going to do some more of C to get to SR 99 again I think :D!

Did you lift as you tried to go by, or just keep the pedal pinned? It usually takes two to tango, very rarely is any incident completely one sided.

You can set buttons to “look left” and “look right”, there’s also the “look back” button, also you can switch to the radar that shows more track than the close up radar, to help you see if anyone is coming before re entering the track. Never rely on the ghosting, it rarely works properly when needed. :)

Dropped a spot in the C7. Don't know how the TT can hold onto to those RH all race and pull away even while I'm on fresh tyres by the end.

Had an all race scrap with the Viper. Clean clean clean. Place swaps all race. It ran on the RM to lap 4.
Started 9th at DTS. Got up to 6th before Seaside hairpin. Dropped to 10th, as there was commotion at the same time.

Fought my way back up to 6th on pace. Tough close rooms, with qualy times being covered by 1 second.

Did you lift as you tried to go by, or just keep the pedal pinned? It usually takes two to tango, very rarely is any incident completely one sided.




You can set buttons to “look left” and “look right”, there’s also the “look back” buttons, also you can switch to the radar that shows more track than the close up radar, to help you see if anyone is coming before re entering the track. Never rely on the ghosting, it rarely works properly when needed. :)

I drive chase view so i saw everything. As he took the 2nd elbow at the top of the hill his left rear went onto the grass all of his own doing then shoots over to the right gets all 4 wheels on the the grass before the final left hander. Now he does gather it up which i was shocked i do see him trying to come back on figure he his gonna stay right so i go all the left right to the edge of the grass and the only thing i can assume is he gassed it up early( so he wont loose his 1st place spot) while tires were still dirty got loose and clipped my right rear as i was going by i of course spin and get the 1 second penalty for causing a collision.
all the while he is skating and lagging all over the place because of his 1 BAR connection now to be fair that may have been the issue but not to own up to that in in the chat after the race and say it was my awareness issue is not right, also 3 three other people were on him about is connection as well. this was at brands by the way. seems clear cut to me....... keep in mind I was less than a second behind at this point with a full head of steam in that short chute if i had cleared him i would have went up by at least a second if not more and if i am not mistaken positions 3 and 4 got by before he was able to finally get moving again. You went off take your medicine take care to re enter and not gather anyone else up. It sucks i know i have done it and felt badly and owned up to it

So you didn’t lift then? You said you were about 1s behind, if I’m that close to someone who catches a piece of grass, I’m lifting just to make sure I don’t hit them, then it’s up to the people behind me to do the same. I agree he should have apologized afterwards though. But like I said, it takes two, you didn’t do the safest thing either by not lifting off when you were that close. So you both could have been safer in your actions. 👍

I tried, my first instinct was to stay out of the racing line , I’m certain he didn’t lift as he was eager to get by that mess quickly ,and you cant really pull a clean move easily around brands hatch without lawnmowing let alone a side sweep

I am sure I might have lifted for a split second then saw my opening and went for it as you know I can’t really slow down that much and have a talk with myself should I slow down or go for the opening or I risk getting rear ended as it was early on and we were all pretty close together Any way it’s was the arrogance that followed that I didn’t like

I pass clean on Brands all the time just keep the pressure and wait for a mistake not that hard

This game is so frustrating sometimes. With how much PD is focusing on online racing, you'd think they would give higher rewards for playing online or something. I mean seriously what am i gonna do with $17,100 credits for getting 3rd online?
it's so hard being a collector in this game. This will be the first GT that I probably won't have all the cars in the game - not even close to having all the cars even though I've been playing since day 1 and have 100% completed everything offline minus ~5ish endurance races lol

Get the Lewis Hamilton DLC, if you can diamond everything it’s 125m credits, or 25m for all golds. 👍

I will miss Autopolis very much, but this C race should prove useful. I don’t know the track and that will prevent my dr from rising on alt. I don’t want to be much past where I am now on the alt. I really enjoyed going no qual all week, too. I qualified last night to try for a win on b but missed out by two tenths at the finish...
This week looks interesting. I like Seaside, and I’m open to St Croix, AFTER realizing Tokyo was fun in gr2, I’m willing to give it a shot on this one.
 
@6BK it is what @RacingGrandpa said. Only Hards are mandatory. If you are a tire legend with stable speed you can do great no stopping in lower lobbies. I was just clueless. Sadly that was one of my better results as the other 2 races I got punted endlessly.

Hoping to run a couple looking for CRB to repair myself tonight. Probably look for the Jag or the Vette this time.
