I've been thinking about this for a while, but I finally decided to make another account just for daily races so I can have some fun with them without having to worry about DR/SR. Off to a good start so far. Unfortunately, it’s not as easy to gain SR in Race C as last week though.

Get the Lewis Hamilton DLC, if you can diamond everything it’s 125m credits, or 25m for all golds. 👍

You can squeak out a bit more if you spend as you go. Get the first 7 platinum's for 14 million, spend those credits then get gold on the last track for another million along with 20 million for all gold's. Spend it all and go and finish the last platinum for 100 million and a total of 135.

Far easier said than done.

...and Gr4 at St Croix II rocks. Had a brilliant 3 hours there today and looking forward to another blast tomorrow.

I'm making the most of this one while it's here. It'll probably be Fuji again next week.:D

I gotta poke a little fun at the situation. Needless to say, this is still only a game

It is. It never fails to surprise me tho regarding the mental effects it can produce.
The game can be very frustrating, which is a good thing because it’s not too easy,
I don’t blame fellas getting into a back and forth, it’s how racing is.
The smartest thing and the thing top level players say is usually wait for the replay-don’t retaliate since your sr will go down etc.
I think that’s the smart play in terms of points, but for me I react in race. It’s maybe not smart but the upside is I don’t end up with stuff eating at me. I either beat them or I don’t. You can always apologize if in the wrong too...

Alt account time. Was D/S. Then, D/A after the he first race. Players crawling thru the Village section. 18th to 8th.

Next race, 16th to 6th. Moved up to C/A.

Did another race. Moved up 12 spots for the win. Finished with a C/S.

All done in the GT-R. 3RH/2RM. FL each race. A little community down there. Players were saying when they're pitting. They all pit together. Then, last lap, the gloves come off.

There were at least three GT-Rs including mine and a good mix of other cars. TTs dominate the grid, but only about five or less.

I don’t get it. What’s the point of even retaliating? If you get hit, you get hit. Simple as that. Why would you even go out of your way to ram someone because they hit you? I’ve been taken out of the race and dropped to dead last multiple times, but the only time I ever ram anyone is during warmup.

I rarely retaliate but if I see a driver punt, sideswipe and ruin the race for a number of people I usually take him out for the good of us all.
Someone hitting me, no I don't retaliate unless it's blatantly obvious it's malicious. Often you can't tell before replay.

But yesterday I was at the end of the long straight in C and another driver slows down to try and sideswipe me off.
Better be sure to run away then..

Yo. As I don’t remember ever playing this track (Croix A 2), it didn’t take me long to learn it.

Going in as Megatrone, I first tried it with the Cayman. It didn’t go well as my car would understeer some turns. It was a bad race.

Next, I tried the 86, couldn’t resist. Well I did much better. One race I started 14th and got up to P5 before pitting for hards. Finished 7th.

Another race, I tried a no stop and it went well as I started 16th and finished 7th. The 86 is a sleeper. Its very good on tires so don’t diss it lol.

Good evening.
I will miss Autopolis very much, but this C race should prove useful. I don’t know the track and that will prevent my dr from rising on alt. I don’t want to be much past where I am now on the alt. I really enjoyed going no qual all week, too. I qualified last night to try for a win on b but missed out by two tenths at the finish...
This week looks interesting. I like Seaside, and I’m open to St Croix, AFTER realizing Tokyo was fun in gr2, I’m willing to give it a shot on this one.
I enjoy racing from the back, too. How come I can't seem to keep from screwing it up? I've been busy lately, so not much race time. I saw the awesome car in race A and decided to run a race before bed. There were about 2 minutes until the start, so I hopped in to get a feel for the car again. Talk about fun! I was drifting through the final corner and grabbed for the pause button as I crossed the finish...forgot again. Now I have a high 1:06, and it put me 6th on the grid. I'm becoming absent minded in my old age, and now one of my favorite cars to drive, especially from the back, and it's ruined. Well, I did get the win, and fastest lap. I'll have to work on Q on my main, and maybe run with the A crowd also this week. I need to learn St. Croix...looks like fun, but I'll probably need 30 laps to get it down...maybe more.

Seaside is an odd place, had my best actual races there, not necessarily wins but battles, best ones at seaside. I always feel a bit slow in qualifying though, I am over 3% off the top time and at a strong track I am closer to 2%. I dunno, I enjoy it but don't feel I can run with DRA guys.

Terrible night las tonight, intentionally run off the road twice, accidently run off the road once (well really sloppy not accidental) and the 4th race I was 3rd and absolutely collected the stupid chicane and finished 10th.

It surprised me how easy it was to learn particularly considering the length. Perhaps it’s because so many of the corners require such similar entry, gear and exit that if you are in doubt just do what you did on the previous turn and you won’t be far wrong.

I think it has a really good flow to it. I found it very intuitive once you’ve come to terms with the key danger areas.

Really enjoying it and am inexplicably 39th qualifying time in Asia for the time being.

Most times tbh I get so pissed it just happens. I won’t be bullied. Even if it’s just a mistake by them they need consequences for not keeping the car under control.
Jmo but it’s a culture thing. I believe in zero tolerance, and working to build a culture where fair racing is prevalent.
If you look at my main acct sr history it’s pretty obvious that before I got above 30k I was Ghandi-pacifist. Once you get faster tho and deal with the bs cheaters you become more aggressive or you just get destroyed.
I don’t tolerate bump to pass or late dives, maybe because I use a wheel. On wheel there’s just no excuse for that, in close quarters it’s too easy to take people out anytime, it’s also easy to stay clean.
Most times at higher dr guys know exactly what they are doing, so I just use my techniques on them to let them know what will happen if they try cheating against me.

Edit the French gr3 is pretty fun at Seaside. Yum

Just did seaside and was doing well until someone decided to use me as a brake and cornering guide rale, thanks to that idiot I didn't finish the race, ran out of time about 1 sec from the line, started 14, didn't finish in 14.
Its a bit disheartening when all your hard work is kicked out the park by idiots, and when it just keeps happening is it really worth bothering to even try.

Yes!
Study the track and lines, understand how to defend and when to attack, when to back off. Racing is great fun. I reccomend also when learning race craft to let go and get mad and go to low sr dr and battle people who are openly dirty.
It makes you appreciate it when you stay 99sr.
You can learn a lot of racecraft this way. Also watch replays. I think it’s what makes the game special. Any race can turn out to be the best or worst of your career.
