Wait what, we can no stop? Gonna try that as the hards feel pretty good after 6 laps. YOu lose what, 9 seconds pitting? 5 laps meiums are a second faster than hards when fresh so ... hmmm it's close.
I’ve been playing with ffs on a wheel G29.Which view are you using? I'm here to learn, because I feel I have to learn a lot about this game.
I will shortly explain myself: in GT6 I was always close to WolfAono, now I'm basically a scrub.
I raced against a guy with a similar quali lap time as yours, no problems with braking an we basically went on the gas around the same time and with the same modulation, but he was pulling away as if he was on soft tires instead of hard tires, we were using even the same gears, so I can say I hit a wall in progression.
I use only weak ABS and I drive with the bumper cam, I've read some people use the chase(lmao)cam even though they're on a wheel, which is fine since it's a videogame but whatever.
Me and the guy I was racing against both used the Corvette C7, which I love, and you can see the car doing 2'01 on the leaderboard.
My time is subpar to say the least, my race pace is 2'06-low or 2'05-high, seriously it's as if I'm on wrong tires, I tried EVERYTHING but there's no way I'm going to shave any cent right now...I need help!
Also I watched the top guys replays and they seem to drive on rails with the car always having a perfect balance, no idea how they do it.
I'm using a T300RS with T3PA pedals, 3 torque and 10 sensitivity.
Does internet speed matter? I always have the full bars, 6ms ping, 20Mbps upload and 65Mbps download, running it through an ethernet cable.
Please send help, there's no way I'm this slow...it hurts so bad...
EDIT: it's only the Gr.3 races, in Gr.2 I'm "only" 1-2 seconds slower than the top guys and it's the same for Gr.4, but in those cases I know I definitely have a big room for improvement
EDIT 2: the wheel also seem to be"slower" after my first session, it was WAY more responsive, so that's another big question point
Great selection this week 👍 Here's my best laps so far in all 3 qualifiers that I uploaded to my channel...
Dragon trail flat out through the chicane is great feeling!Have fun guys![]()

I like your qualy runs but they are so heavily compressed I cannot make out the split or final times.
You're a second faster than me in the same car, I will take that using D-pad and AT, I do wish it would change down more on corner entry with the Viper.
I dont think its youtube unless you have a weird setting enabled. Most folks here use YouTube i think.
Then they didn't run Hards.someone ahead of me at race C got a 1 min penalty today and dropped from 5th to dead last
Since the pit stop is not mandatory and tyres are auto set as hard (or medium if those were in qualifying) how have they managed that ?
The tyres are not "auto set". You can choose your starting tyre freely.someone ahead of me at race C got a 1 min penalty today and dropped from 5th to dead last

There’s a setting on the PS4 that lets you set the upload quality.![]()
Race B is already too short and then we get race A which is somehow even shorter than thatI thought I'd wake up to a few people agreeing with me that Race A is too short, but instead we got two pages of "grip hacks" baloney. The internet never changes.
On topic, I see I'm already below my K-prime targets at Goodwood and Dragon Trail and I haven't put in a remotely decent lap at either track.Either my standards are getting too high or the really fast drivers aren't bothering to qualify anymore.
Sorry Pigems I was hoping you could tell me how to do this? I just looked in the settings and even youtubed a solution video but I don't see an option in broadcast settings to increase quality of uploaded vids.. help a noob day please:tup:
I'm going off on a tangent here but interestingly here's a case of cheating in the real world. At Bathurst last year. "Driving stupidly slow". Resulted in a fine but still a win.
Pretty stupid.

Two different accounts, one has a capital I for a lower case lSpeaking of fishy behavoir, is the Daily Race A Top 10 in the Americas still have that driver with two ratings and 2 separate top 10 times?
There are a couple people who do that in Asia region as well. Seems small stuff, but annoying. Or at least change the name more so it isnt 100pct obviousIt’s Penske. What’d you expect? I’m glad he’s pulling the plug and taking McLaughlin with him.

No need for grip hacks but it's less suspicious if you're not in the top 10![]()
Went from 6th to 2nd in 3 laps, had a great run. Nearly took first, but they pulled out a gap of 3 seconds before I quickly reeled them in through lap 8 and lap 9. coming into the last lap when I switched to hards. At which point I realised he was actually on hards the whole time and was zero stopping
I was setting FL in the M4 on RH. Someone at the back set FL and I even set FL on Lap 6. That thing definitely had the grip hack preset.Maybe just me. But the no stopper seems so much quicker in Race C.
Generally the person setting the FL in race, is seldom the one who wins it. Personally mixing it up, pit once in a while. Otherwise, the no stop seems to offer the best results.
Starting P19/20 and getting in to the top 10.
Down the order, pitting helps(against drivers that keep fighting). Mid-pack, it may help again(players go off, a dirty player in the mix, types of cars used).Wait what, we can no stop? Gonna try that as the hards feel pretty good after 6 laps. YOu lose what, 9 seconds pitting? 5 laps meiums are a second faster than hards when fresh so ... hmmm it's close.
YEAH, 16TH IS WELL OFF THE RADAR.No need for grip hacks but it's less suspicious if you're not in the top 10![]()
No brakes = illegal weight reduction. No need for grip hacks but it's less suspicious if you're not in the top 10
