Nothing better than a good Bathurst race. My SR got smashed in a few previous races (dropped to D) so generally qualifying 1st or 2nd, which is good because C and D graders seem to have no idea how to drive Mount Panorama. Just cruising to victory and taking the SR points. Hoping to be back to S soon so I can have some good races before the week's out

I hate it when someone is asleep at the start and I'm 2 cars behind them.

"Stop looking at the map when you're in 2nd? place and don't see anyone in your rear view mirror at 130mph before a turn on the last lap"

Is this obvious enough?

No need for grip hacks but it's less suspicious if you're not in the top 10
Hey, those are different regions, I figure that's all good so you can race in both. It's the ones who have 2 or even 3 accounts loading up the leaderboards all in the same region.
For example positions 1 and 6.

He might've just forgot his PSN password so tried again :sly:

I think a lot of this comes from people who are overly protective of their ratings, not sure what the need to qualify on their main is though.

Oh boy, the things I miss while I'm at work. First off, let's congratulate @Trone_Colby & @RacingGrandpa for making the highlight (lowlight) reel. And @ILLEAGLE_34 makes a bonus appearance.

Wait what, we can no stop? Gonna try that as the hards feel pretty good after 6 laps. YOu lose what, 9 seconds pitting? 5 laps mediums are a second faster than hards when fresh so ... hmmm it's close.

I didn't think anybody would even try a no stopper. But, one guy in a race last night did. @suprajef did it in his stream. Races like this week's C show the real talent. It was said the best in the movie Days of Thunder: Tires is what wins a race.

Well if you've got no brakes there's nothing to slow you down ;)

I'm NoStopN, so that explains why I'm usually outside of a turn in the sand.

@Alone_Prost I did some snooping because I thought [REDACTED] was sus, here you can see that the downforce is set to negative to make the car fly, I'd imagine it works in opposite too to have extra grip or tunnel under the circuit.

:odd:

I love the 1.5 second penalty for hitting a wall that isn't there.

Just imagine how fast you'd be if you had one!

SHHHHH!!!! Don't give him any ideas.

The Viper player I kept seeing all evening, was speedy. It started one place behind me all night and must have got tired of that and set a qualy again to start ahead of me. I got ahead of it though. That player did win a race on the next one.

I got quite the surprise last night when over half the room was using the Viper. When did the Viper become META?

I tried all kinds of sensitivity just now, well, it didn't go well, nothing changed.
So at this point I guess people use "performance enhancers", come on, same lines, same amount of gas, same gears, same braking, same corner speed...and then they gain traction like crazy and pull ahead like it's nothing.
I mean I did my research before coming here to ask stuff, and on this very site people seem very defensive on the "grip hack", I guess I will keep driving in the C-D rating with some peace of mind and feeling clean on the inside...and if there's someone new reading this you just have to know people doing anything below 2'05 is using the "grip hack", probably something that changes they kind of tire from hard to soft, this is truly pathetic ny the way...and you all act like veteran drivers
Out.

I was going to have some tact when I first started reading your incoherent ramblings, but now, that's out the window. Looking at your profile, you just started commenting today. So, either you just joined the site to cry about other people being faster than you & "it's not fair!" or you have been watching people post videos for a while & just starting commenting today. I'm betting on the former. Regardless, you say that you want to get faster. Then, after getting an offer to help you figure out how to get faster/better, you go on this tangent about hacking. Sounds to me like you were hoping that we could tell you how to "hack" your PS4 or game to be good instead of practicing. OK, I can tell you how to hack your PS4.

Step 1: unplug the PS4
Step 2: go outside with PS4
Step 3: set PS4 on the ground
Step 4: swing an axe & contact the PS4. Swing multiple times.
Step 5: when you can see the internal parts of the PS4, congratulations. Success!

Ohhhh, that Major Half Ass guy(P7 on the leader board). Haven't seen him causing havoc, in the Daily Races, since the META OyVeyron days.

Edit: Members here have been saying the Viper got better at the start of the FIA Season. The C7 is supposedly good as well. Mustang took a hit, but it's pretty good at DTS.

What happened to CRB at Bathurst-polesitter,fastest laps,no off track or barrier touches-4 seconds ahead of 2nd-no touches whatsoever and no CRB?

Don't feed the troll.

On a more relevant note, still trying to break my FF addiction. Have got the TT down to 45.3 but can't get any FR or MR within 2 seconds. Know that my issue is corner entry and exit but just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Got my qualy lap in the jaguar down to 1.45.5, ill take that.

So no stopping works, 3 races, 2 firsts and a third. Thing is, you will need the guys you are racing to get into battles for it to work. If someone clears off on mediums it's quicker to stop but if they get into a fight and lose a few seconds, no stopping works. Basically you need clear air for it to work which is kinda boring.

Going in at Bathurst. No qualy. GT-R gets the short straw.

Edit: One and don. I went Last to 10th. Got smashed off at The Chase. Recovered with the two behind me getting penalties. Finished with CRB. Closing the book on that Daily. No more thanks, I'm sober.

Haven't had as much time as i was hoping for, so far this week. Got a reasonable qt for goodwood on monday, while the wife and dog did thier best to distract me lol.

Yesterday, i tried to trim my time, as i know i can get a 19.5 or 6, but i was having a "slow" day. So over to the alt for some chill races from the back. Had 5 or 6 enjoyable races just cruing around and finding myself on the podium almost every time. It seemed fairly clean, other than no one knowing the track somehow. We have raced here enough that it is silly how many people seem to have no idea where they are going.

Might race for a few wins with my main today, but i also want to try some laps and perhaps a race or two from the back, on the mountain

Way to take a dig at us :D
It's more of a quantity issue. Not many people are racing so it dumps what it is available into a single lobby from A+ to C.

Edit
It’s not that we have less skill over here, it’s just we have less people. So the skill gap per lobby varies a lot more over here is all. :)
What he said. Plus some seem to have found their A+ in a cereal box.
