Did some qualifying laps around Tokyo in prep for Sunday morning. I was 10-15s faster with the WRX than my race laps (no qualy) because I was so worried about hitting walls ... Tokyo in *any* form has never been kind to me. Hopefully the extra pace will mean I don't get lapped on Sunday :crazy:. Do we know what the bonus races are yet?

Sweet! We don’t run penalties either on our races so no fear of a small scrape ruining a race either. I haven’t figured out the BR’s yet though, I’ll try to get them sorted out and posted sometimes tonight. :)
 
I bought the race A Fiat and picked a livery for it. Hopefully it doesn't match anyone elses.
 
Man I raced on the Fiat last night, and I was literally falling asleep behind the wheel lol.... not looking forward to that one haha

It can be fun, we just had like 6 of us in the same races for 4 or 5 races in a row and it was a blast! It’s not what you race, it’s who you race. ;) :cheers:
 
Lol, I get that - but man I was just not into it with that little car haha. I'll still be having some fun tomorrow with you guys!
 
Here's a challenge for ya. 3 laps of the N24 with the 911 GT3 RS maxed from N400 to N700. I just finished the N24 endurance race on GT lounge and dang! Even with racing tyres it's a handful. Auto drive pops a wheelie and slams it into the fence before the race has even started! And yeh, if you aren't careful you do get airborne on the Nord.

I don't know if PD have made any announcements of giving up on GTS, but when I finished the race it came up with "Congratulations, you have completed Campaign Mode". That kinda suggests to me no more GT lounge events or Track Experience updates :crazy:.

Thanx, but ... I shouldn't have "completed" campaign mode.... I completed all events and tasks in campaign mode a couple of times before, with no congratulatory message, and next update there would be more events added and the odd track experience for new tracks added the previous update. This kinda seems to add a note of finality that that's it for campaign mode, no more additions in up coming updates. That would be disappointing.

So... races for tonight/tomorrow? what do I have to waste credits on this time?

Interesting, I don’t think we are done with updates just yet though. I have a feeling we will still get more. :)

Only one BR locked in so far, ‘89 BMW M3 @ Lago Maggiore East II on SM Tires. Will update the other two shortly. :)
 
Saw you guys talkin in the daily thread, might have to have one of the bonuses be race A again!

I've been havin fun with it too. When I keep my times in the 12s I can finish top 5 within 5-8 seconds of the leader.

I think Race A is just one of the usual races, the bonuses are 3 races that aren't one of the dailies. So we would be doing Race A anyway ... last place for me then :crazy:.
 
I know. Just thought since everyone enjoyed it, 2 times might not be enough.
 
I've just been liverying up for tomorrow. Still waiting to find out what the last two will be so I can roll them in the booth if needs be.

My personal livery is meant to be menacing. It's supposed to strike fear and terror in the hearts and minds of my targets and signify my intention to rape, pillage and plunder my weasely guts out. On the Fiat 500...... yeeeeeh....riiiiiight......

Any Safety Car @ Dragon Trail Gardens, 4 Laps on SS Tires. 560hp Max, 3,500lbs Min. All other settings locked.

Renault Sport R.S.01 Gr.X car @ Circuit de Saint-Croix B, 3 Laps on RM tires. 542hp Max(stock) and 2,522lbs min(Stock).

BoP will be on for the BMW, I only made Power/Weight limits for the other two because they have no BoP. I just use the BoP on any cars I can so that it ensures that no one forgets to retune/untune any tuned cars that were used for other things. :)

Although for one make Races I could always just set power and weight restrictions to the stock numbers for that car. I hadn’t thought about that. Thanks for bringing it up, I’ll do that for the BMW instead of BoP. :)

I assume when you go to enter the game will prompt you to adjust before it will let you select a car? 'cause I have no idea what the stock numbers are for most of the cars I use... usually I just max em out and win the offline races by brute force :lol:.

There will just be an allowable min weight and max power for those races, I set the limits in the lobby, so as long as you’re not under powered or overweight you will be all good. :cheers:

I’m honestly not sure lol, I know there’s a GTR and a Merc lol.

Edit: Upon further inspection it appears that you are correct. A BMW, a Merc and a GTR. :)
 
I’ve got the room open now for anyone who wants to practice the Bonus Races before hand. This will also be the race room when the time comes. :)
