What a great turnout tonight, we had a full 16 player lobby at one point and 15 for a couple other races. That was awesome, there were some many fun battles along the way, great racing by everyone all around. Thanks for another enjoyable evening of racing fellas! :cheers:


@DesertPenguin It seemed like everyone really liked the RS01, and it was really fun around St.Croix B. :)
 
That was a trip! The safety cars were ....... *interesting* ... someone liked it so much they used it in the next race :dopey:.

@GOTMAXPOWER cheated by slip streaming me during qualy.... I feel so used (places wrist to forehead dramatically).

Starting up front with a back of DR/As behind is a bit like being mugged! But I did manage to get air on a cone with the 500, so I guess it wasn't all bad :p. Since I've been designated an "Ultimate Driver", anyone who beat me *must* have been cheating :odd:.

Your slipstream was worth 4 tenths in sector 1 but then I crashed at the hairpin. I was a bit disappointed your Nissan with the flashing lights on the roof wasn't painted in Ghostbusters livery.

I can’t believe how much the grip changed I the safety race compared to the practice session from earlier. Maybe I had it on a different TOD before, I don’t remember, the brake points were way different though lol.

Hehe. Yeh, someone said when they saw me coming up behind them in the mirror they thought they were being chased by the cops :lol:. There was someone, not sure who, who had the police livery. That race was fun... everyone struggling to keep it pointed in the right direction. It almost looked like the surface was damp, but I've noticed that with a few tracks. Bathurst always seems to look like its a couple of hours after it's rained.
 
Last night was great fun. Wish i was able to join more often. Lots of good racing and close battles in nearly each race. The safety cars were my only issue, i just couldn't keep it going where i wanted. I had the police livery on the m4... the last race in the e30 was maybe my favorite of the night.

I enjoyed Tokyo Expressway, St. Croix and RBR. I usually don't.

At one point I was between @SpaceMaN47y0 and SpacedustDaddy. And got confused as to who was who. Same as a few weeks ago I was between @MaxAttack and @GOTMAXPOWER. I'm dumb and can only remember 1 word at a time. :dunce: :lol:

I was behind you there, and the kids were watching, and they loved watching the race with those cars as it's quite funny really... but when they saw you get air they just hosed themselves laughing - I have to admit I had quite a chuckle about it also.

Was a great afternoon for me, really quite enjoyable! I'm already looking forward to next week - what about a Kart bonus Race on the same track we did the 500 race on? Thoughts?

I want to race tonight but also want to watch NASCAR. I'll try doing both at the same time, what could possibly go wrong... :lol:

Mixed bag tonight. Sorry @Invisigoth for punting you off at Autopolis and @sturk0167 for punting you off at Big Willow :ouch:. Autopolis not my cup of tea, nor FF cars. After Willow I figured it would be safer not to mess around on sports tires at DT Seaside :lol:

Some lag shunting messed up the 2nd Nord race while the first one I ended up out in front by myself. A new experience this week, as well as going full out in the first section. You pretty much never get to do that when you don't qualify in sport mode. Hence I'm always faster at the second part of the track, more practice there.

Unfortunately stuff came up and I completely missed both Sarthe races. Next time!!
 
Great racing tonight fellas, that was super fun!! Hopefully the GT Site servers are back up tomorrow to be able to get some pics. I know there’s gonna be a few good one in there. :)Thanks to everyone for coming out tonight. :cheers:
