I had to quit. Every time I got on a grid everyone behind me got glitched. :(
The biggest disappoinment though was the disconnect on the first race, I'd not have won but I really wanted to see the replay of a full lap of door to door with no (consequential) contact on Tsukuba.

Yeah that first race was going really well until that happened. I don’t even know why it did, I don’t lose power in storms most times and it was a beautiful clear night out last night?

Power failures can really screw things up. More stuff gets fried when power comes back on again. We lost two Fox boxes in the past when power came back on. After having the Telsta TV box wi-fi'ing from the modem rather than the router, no streaming issues, so that kinda gives credence to the faulty router theory. Not sure if I actually need a router or just a switch :confused:.

@Pigems , you having any issues with other stuff after your power glitch?

Everything seemed to be working fine after the power glitch as far as I could tell. The lobbies have had way more glitches since the second to last update though, before that we were having little to no problems for a long time.

I’m sorry that you guys got the shatty end of the stick because of it last night though. Hopefully next week will be better in that regard. :)

Possibilities include but are not limited to: Car hits pole. Tree falls on lines. Possum (or equivalent local wildlife... racoon maybe?) touches two wires at once. Large bird flies into line (I've seen it happen... instant fried swan). Electromechanical part failure. Spiteful act of the power god. Take your pick.

I'm not entirely sure that @Pigems server was running cleanly either after that power glitch he suffered, some of the views I was getting back were pretty screwy. When spectating the TV cam would only give a view from one location and every race it was showing me @NoStopN parked right on the apex of a difficult corner.

This is the same experience I have when I don't sync with the servers & can't connect. Typically for me, @GOTMAXPOWER is the one who is shown sitting on the starting grid. But then everybody congratulates him when I get back to the lobby between races. :lol:

Thanks for the invitation to last night’s races. I’m sorry for the abrupt exit. I left out of frustration over my inability to better control my Gr.C car.

No worries, the random grid kind of screwed me in that race so I was taking some mad risks, I tried overtaking a Gr.C car around the outside of the Porsche curves at one point. It was inevitable that I was going to crash :lol:

The replay of you trying to pass is going to be something else when I watch it. As for joining lobbies, it's rather hit & miss. I usually am in the practices & quali, but get frozen in time on the starting line. Two weeks ago, I got into the last half of the evening's races. Last week, just 3 in the middle (missed the truck races :mad:). Last night, the same thing....at least until @Pigems power surge. Then I was in with only a glitchy @Winnie847.
 
The lobbies in this game are so weird, why can’t they just work properly? Is it really that hard to do?

All replays are shared, I forgot to mention that earlier. Except race 1, I forgot to save that one. :banghead:

Nice night of racing and a great way to try out the new cars. The Amemiya is awesome and I hope to see it as part of the daily races soon. Thanks for having me.

Although I did somehow manage to hit or punt someone in every race besides the last 2 :O. Sorry to those I hit, I'll be more careful next time.

Hell, I haven't had any on the wheel, have had 7 emil Frey lexus, 9 toyota 86 and 5 gr3 huracan though. Probably had more of something else but ugh. Had a wheel with 2 unicorns on it once, got the demio!:lol::cheers:

I’ve had plenty spin by, but none have stopped for me. Especially lately, there’s one on the wheel every day in the past couple of months it seems, still no dice though.

Hehe a fleet of rust buckets! I go through and remove repeats, or sell the ones that I have paid for. I have seen numerous unicorns come up on the wheel, but as pointed out already... if there are 3 awesome cars and one really *really* 🤬 one, ya might as well stick your head between your legs and kiss your arse goodbye, because *that's* your car buddy 👍. I got the P4 as a gift car, but I don't know if it was on the wheel or a prize from one of the career challenges.

Edit: I do have 2 Paris Hilton F1s from the wheel. I haven't deleted them because you cant do 🤬 with them. You are stuck with whatever colours you get.
