Would have thought I'd have more damage for hitting the pit wall going full speed. :D Still don't know how I made across the finish line. And the Lancia came out the worse for wear after getting gang raped at the beginning of Horse Thief. It's like the cars were humping each other at the start. :lol:

Sorry about the Challenger race. When I went to select a car, the Raptor was the only vehicle that was showing available.
I left the lobby and rejoined, and it was the same. Sometimes weird stuff happens in the lobbies. :confused:

I think your truck made the race even better, I was trying to bully the other Challenger's then saw this huge shadow of a monster truck come onto the bottom of the screen, it was like a horror movie. :eek:

A wildcard never hurts in the dirty races.
 
@GOTMAXPOWER I knew I had way more power than you guys, and also 4 wheel drive, so I wasn't trying to win. I was trying to just take out whoever was in 1st, so others could catch up. :lol:

It was pretty sweet. Here's how it looked from my perspective. At the very end, I jumped off the top rope to slam Pigems. 👍 :lol:
 
I missed the 1st and 3rd races for saving replays, but I got the rest lol. They’re all shared in game and tagged GTP and TPC. Great racing last night guys, those BR’s were awesome! I agree with Max, the truck in the mix worked well! :)

I used to play 'cat and mouse' in GT5 on the Nordschleife.

Team game, each team has one slow car, the puck which has to finish first for the team to win. The rest are in much faster cars and it's their job to push their puck ahead while impeding the other team. Always fun.

Daihatsu Copen was a favorite for the puck, something light, easily punted. The Nascar cars were the preferred chasers but I don't think GTS has any. Perhaps GR.B has something good ;) Best to have cars with solid colors to make it easy to know who is on what team. And boost on of course.
 
I still love the start at HTM where we all clown car spawn in a huge pile. I still had a car on top of me when it hit go for the race I was in. Might see if I can use my time to do a super cut of insanity from the bonus races.
@sturk0167 might have the star with his Raptor in the Challenger race.👍

Tell him to get GTS and he can join you. Check the replays for some good clean racing in the bonus races lol. I don't think anyone survived turn 1 at Tokyo without ABS, that was a game changer for sure.

I'm not sure what I'm cheesed about more: that the lobby bugged out & you only got the choice of the Raptor or that I could have used that excuse to drive mine. :irked: I will not feel happy until I get to make up for the truck race from a few weeks ago.

I should have gone with the GT-R like Pigems did. The NSX was hell & a half to stop from the long straight @199 MPH without spinning it or sailing into the wall at the hairpin. Needless to say, I failed miserably. :lol:

Oh, & as I said, thank goodness for practice. No resets & I got a couple of good shots in.

Not Raptors, Group C cars. Lots of high speed carnage, and how often are we going to have to go back to find the 'puck'? Also, how far can we punt one of those copens with a 787, 908 or 962?

Each team chooses. Blue versus red. Might be tough to get that sorted out ahead of time.
However, since Sven came up with it, he definitely has to be there. 👍

We may have to do this as a once off special event instead of a bonus race. It would be hard to coordinate as a bonus race because we never know who will be there on any given night.
 
Actually now I remember more of it, teams were usually 2 or 3 per team, as many teams as people showed up to increase the carnage. One puck, one pusher and a hunter/defender per team. To keep it easy we used cars with clear color choices, of course sharing liveries beforehand to make the teams would work as well. The catch up boost setting kept everyone together, yet going ahead to set up a road block or try a head on collision with a puck worked as well.

An example with teams of 2


Teams of 2 is pretty easy to remember who to push, hit everyone else :)
