To save weight, most racecars replace window glass with clear polycarbonite-type material. Even makes mention of this in the tuning shop's body modifications description as another option for weight reduction.

Best explaination for bending windows ever...nearly epic-like. But it nevertheless would be impossible to bend it like this. At one point, it brakes, because its plastic ;)

the bottom of the Miura's not too bad, you can see the springs, control arms, and ball joints..not like that pic of the skyline with Autoart on it

I clipped the fence, who says GT damage isn't realistic...to a certain extent

That Rally car is the only car I have seen with panels that come off.

Here are some of my crash pics.
After 15 straight minutes of smashing head on into the AI, I was finally able to get some really good damage. But it takes a LOT of work to make it look like this.

Are rally cars the only cars that currently allow the doors, hood, and trunk to pop open? I have not seen any other cars with that type of damage like in post #91.

I really wish that parts and debris would come off of the car if the damage were too excessive.

50 Lap race @ DSS

After some light bumpdrafting on my Challenger. Avoided the big one

And at the end of 50 laps

Ploughed into the tires on the first lap of the American Muscle Car champs, some bugger in a Charger nudged me. Quite impressed with the damage done to what I now call my Allenger.

Was this online? I heard that duo to lag, it can happen that cars will receive severe damage because the physics will go all nuts during hitting a wall while lagging.

The deformation is perfect. That's what I would have expected. But scretches are missing. PD should have added more scretch textures.
