I just don't dance**. I also think almost everybody looks stupid when they do, especially men. I have gotten crap for this for my entire life. At a wedding when I was just five my aunts tried to physically drag me to the dance floor as I threw a fit. In highschool I went to a couple dances and thought they were stupid. I went to two proms at two different schools and didn't much like either of those. But due to pressure from every side I did, in fact, dance at one of the proms. The song was Modern English's Melt With You. So I am standing there on the dance floor jumping around in synch with the music and looking at everybody else doing something similar, and it suddenly hit me... "This is the stupidest thing I've ever done. Look at me. I'm an idiot and so is everyone else." I haven't danced since.

**These comments apply only to so-called "fastdancing." Slow dancing is okay and I actually enjoy a nice slowdance with my wife, occasionally.

I think it is. It takes a lot of coordination to rythmically head-bang without hurting yourself or things around you Remember, it's not just banging your head, there is a lot of body movement that occurs, especially if you have some room to work with IMO, head-banging is the most visually descriptive type of dancing,....... next to exotic of course
