I've been learning the Scottish dances. It's a real buzz when you're part of this big group of people who all know what they're doing. But there is a lot of flailing around like a tool involved in the learning process!

I dance with my kids. That's about it. I will slow dance with my boyfriend, though. That's the only kind of dancing he'll do... he hates it, otherwise.

Sometimes when I'm home alone waiting for a Mazda video to DL I'll dance, though it's more odd.

I don't like nachos much...

I'd really like to pick up dancing. Primarily Ballroom, I just think it has real class, and that people have real class when real music is played by an orchestra or quartuplet. Yeah, I wish I had class, and perhaps someday I will. I plan on taking Ballroom Dancing classes someday, so I'll mark that since I'll eventually dance that(I hope...)

Ok... I admit it. I took Ballroom dancing with my Wife because it was one of her Christmas presents. Plus, before I got married I use to club dance with her. The things a guy will do for a good woman.. I'm so ashamed :)

I guess I should reply to my own thread.

I took ballroom dancing in college, it was a blast. I've club danced a few times with girls I know - it was a blast as well.

I chair dance in my car and at my computer all the time. I dance alone in the house quite a bit too. I'd like to learn some cultural dances just so I can say I know how.

And I like nachos.

Everyone likes nachos, Loud. Freakin' duh, therefore I tried editing the nachos option in the poll to 6.000.000.000, but it would show up as 219.541.xxx.xxx

8 seconds? I can't dance for my life. . . but my fist can :D

oh yeah - Fritos !!!! :D

The horizontal mombo and a decent couch dance every once in a while. Other than that I find watching women dance fascinating but men funny as hell.

Slow dancing I will do. Beyond that I couldn't dance to save my life. But I really want to learn how to...Especially Ball room dancing. It just looks sooo nice and beautiful. I'm also looking into Tap dancing...It seems like a lot of fun. And I'm considering Ballet...but I'm so busy, and that requires a whole lot of dedication I doubt I'd be willing to do it.

That's awesome. My sister took tap, jazz, and ballet and loved it very much. I took a semester of ballroom dancing in college and it was so much fun. I think you would enjoy all of it.

No. Not at all.
It is pretty easy to learn and great fun too.

That's what everyone I ask says. I definitely need to find a dancing school somewhere in my area.

Well, basic ballroom dancing is easy. But if you don't develop your own style then everyone looks the same and that's kind of boring. The steps are easy, but a guy who can lead and a girl who can follow might more difficult to find. There was a girl in my class who I danced quite well with. What's really crazy, a year later I found out she's one of my friend's roommates. Hmmmm ... (:

Ditto on the needing to find a dance school. Think there are many around the Twin Cities? Ash, where's your location?

Oh, BTW, wouldn't ballet be hard on the feet? I mean, I remember hearing about how their feet can get deformed from the shoes... is that true?
