Oh, BTW, wouldn't ballet be hard on the feet? I mean, I remember hearing about how their feet can get deformed from the shoes... is that true?

Well, this will be my last month living here in Fairborn, Ohio. My step-dad got a job down in London, Kentucky as the head pro of one of the private country clubs down there. So I'll just say I live in London, Kentucky then...For the fact that's where I'll be staying for the rest of my high school years, if not through my college years.

LOL...deformed feet from Ballet! Well, that's interesting...I think I've heard the same thing. I just fear pulling all the muscles in my legs and stuff. Some balletrina's came and visit our school a few years ago. This guy was talking about how he pulled legiments and everything...*shudder*

Well, basic ballroom dancing is easy. But if you don't develop your own style then everyone looks the same and that's kind of boring. The steps are easy, but a guy who can lead and a girl who can follow might more difficult to find. There was a girl in my class who I danced quite well with. What's really crazy, a year later I found out she's one of my friend's roommates. Hmmmm ... (:

That's a good point.

An important part of the ability to dance well is your "communication" with your dancepartner. If you dance with a girl that isn't so good, your performance drops automatically too. ( Or, for Blazing20, a guy that can't lead:) ).

Hmm, possibly going to college in Kentucky? Cool. I'm looking at UND. I went to www.review.com, Princeton Review's website, and they said the average ACT scores were the same as that of people that go to Eau Claire*major shudder*:yuck: :nervous: 👎
But then I looked at the major schools there, and the Engineering school has a very high GPA, at least I think so, and the Aviation(which I'm thinking of) has high GPA's as well, so I guess it should equal out as long as I don't get sucked into the major drinking pool there.

LOL...oh boy this reminds me of the Winter Formal I went to this past December...

I was so looking forward to this dance. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice dance. But it could've been better. I went with this boy that I then (hence not anymore) liked. I was so excited and gitty I couldn't wait for us to start dancing (*AHEM* Slow dancing, mind you). Well, turns out that he doesn't like dancing- that kind. He likes to fast dance. And with all due respect he's one of the worst dancers I've ever seen. Slow dancing he's good at...but..eh...It was like he'd much rather walk on hot coal than dance with me. Kinda hurt my feelings :( The longest we slow danced was, like, 1 minute...give or take a few. I think the only reason he went with the dance with me was because he knew that I liked him and he wanted to be nice. So yeah...make sure you have a good dancing partner ;)

Quite possibly. There's a couple things I want to get into, so I'm not quite too sure yet what I'd want to major and minor in, but I have an idea. I'm really into Politics, Criminal Justice, ROTC, Science, Engineering, and Journalism. If I just get my Algebra up (:banghead:) I could be very eligible to go on an ROTC scholarship to a good college, or quite possibly the Air Force Academy or West Point. I've always seriously considered the Military, for the fact that I've just always admired it and my whole life that's what I've always wanted to do. But not reality is seriously kicking in. I'm not willing to commit to moving around at practically a moment's notice; and I know if I'm not willing to commit to one thing, then the deal is out. But you never know. Let's say if I was to get into the Air Force, I would major in Aeronautical Science. I would love to work on the Jet's and Cargo planes. Growing up around America's 4th largest Air Force base really makes you appreciate and admire those great air crafts. They just mesmerize me. Politics also falls under the same catagory as the Military for me. I think we have a neat legislature, but I don't really think I'd want to be involved with it. It can be such a stressful process.
Criminal Justice I've always liked to. Eastern Kentucky University has one of the best Criminal Justice programs, to my knowledge, and this guy I know whose major is Criminal Justice, advises me to look into that college. It's extremely expensive, but if it can make me successful, it's worth it to me.
( Can you tell that I watch the news a lot? )
Journalism...Well this is a no-brainer! I love to write!! My ultimate goal in life is to publish AT LEAST one hit novel. But I also hope to work for a newspaper/News broadcasting channel-like CNN or MSNBC. I'd like to be a reporter or anchor for them. Writing is my heart soul.

So there ya' go :)

Think you have enough goals there, Ash? Honestly, I'll be happy if the only people that know me are people that I know. I don't want to be famous, I like living a modest-er life. ROTC.... My parents did that, but only my dad got a free tuition and stuff, for some reason the Navy didn't really pay my mom back for the college costs...:odd: Anywho, have fun with whatever plans you have for the next 3 years or so!

Whoa! Consider yourself lucky for already having figured out what you'd like to do later in life, as for me (hence, I'm 5 days older than you)... I haven't a clue! I'm pursueing a racing career at the moment, but I haven't a freakin' clue about what I'd like to become other than a professional driver.

Hmm. I can breakdance, but I'm not that good at it yet. I've injured myself only once, and haven't practised for 4-5 weeks to date.

I can't club dance.
I like nachos.

I can't dance...I can do a sort of breakdancing...but then I usually hurt myself.

I like writing too, I've written a short story ( about 2000 words ++ ) and submitted it to a magazine. And guess what? They published it!!! I got RM1500 ( USD 395 ) * for it! I wrote about racing of course, and the movie Fast and Furious gave me the inspiration ;) I bought a PS2 with the money :D

* ( US $1 = RM 3.8 ) I'm not sure of the calculations.. I think this is the number.

Yeah - you really have to be extremely careful when you're breakdancing. And practice makes perfect! You have to constantly practice so you're skills don't go away.

Wow! That's cool! You got your article published by a magazine! You must have some skills. :) 400$ US is a lot of money too, what did you do with the spare money ;)

There wasn't any left :D I bought my PS2 when it first came out, so things were pretty expensive back then. And believe me, a PS2 isn't cheap in Malaysia. It's considered a luxury item, or a rich kid's toy. But I'm not rich, so... there you go. My dad told me I could buy the PS2 if I wanted too, and he said that it was better for me to purchase something, since I'll remember how I got the PS2 in the first place. My writing ;) :D

Yeh, that's a good thing. :) Oh yeh, I remember when the PS2s first came out here they were a jip at 750$ a pop. When I got mine it was around the 500$ mark, now they are only 400$ (Keep in mind i'm talking AU, a US conversion is about 60% of the price listed).

Well hey, if racing is what you love, go for it! If I wasn't so scared about going 180 MPH around a near vertical corner, I'd aim for NASCAR racing! So if racing is what you love-- work for it. But other than racing (this is in case you want more options) what else do you like to do- or find yourself very interested in?
