I just got like 15 Database errors, and I can't go the main forum page.

EDIT: Why does it always start working after you post?

I'm getting multiple errors, i even have problems replying to this thread.

I've just experienced a whole host of database errors, trying to get out of GT4 Race Reports forum back to the main Gran Turismo 4 forum, and then from the GTP Forums screen into the Site Feedback forum to try and post in this thread that the errors have been happening again.

I’ve been getting lots of server timeouts and DB errors today.

Been getting timeouts and DB errors across the site for about 5 minutes. Fine now, though.

I'm sure you were notified, Jordan, but GTP was down for around an hour a little while ago. The error on the homepage was:

Database error in Subdreamer

Connection == false, connect failed
Error: Too many connections
Error number: 1040
Date: Thursday 09th 2007f August 2007 10:48:15 AM

Yeah,i did get it too. (i discussed with Turbo Lag,Diablo and Jacoja about this on msn to past the time :p ) but was it the server went down and/or overload or was it just a maintenance?Well whatever, glad that GTP is running again :)

It sure is. It happens roughly everytime I've been on GTPlanet lately, usually occuring during the act of posting.

Thanks, guys, I'm aware of the issue. A process seems to begin automatically on the server which overloads the MySQL server at this specific time of day, but I'm not entirely sure what it could be.

Its Polyphony Digital, theyre trying to gather data for GT5 so that they can keep everybody happy.

Theyve only just realised we want damage, In car view with a dash, online play, real time weight adding/removal, 22 cars on track, changeable colours on purchased cars and "rust adder" for effect.

Obviously this being the best GT resource on the web they come once a day, when its dark in japan.

:irked:👍
I had the DB error too.
