Apparently the GT Facebook page has released that they have added another mini-endurance event to the game. The 24 Minutes of Daytona...

I wish it was 24 hours... but I will take it!

Not on the PS3 right now... can anyone provide event details?

Oh well... gonna kill this one for a month... every LMP car I own, and probably some GT cars.
 
Wow, was not expecting this. Wish it would've been in as a permanent update, but this is such a pleasant surprise so I still appreciate this.
 
Has the AI always been programmed to use the full pit exit on Daytona Road Course?

Never been a endurance style event on this track in GT and I have't done a race long enough to have the AI pit to find out.

Bugger, can't use the LM55 or R35 TC. two of my most favourite race cars. :(
 
Which is faster, LM55 or any of the group C class?
 
The LM55 can't enter as it's 4WD. Only Two-Wheel-Drive cars are allowed to enter.
 
Im not online on PS3 right now. So, id like to replicate this race in Single Player.

It's a 24 minute race, there are infinite laps
 
Single player doesnt count down. Just trying to get a figure to calculate. No prob, ill just run a TT and go from there.
 
905 rules. Pitted once, midway when I had to.

Just need a car that brakes well, the rest is up to the driver.
 
Just noticed that SRF is forced on. :mad: What a crock of 🤬 :mad: They need to leave these driving aids as optional. I'd like to do these events but I don't like being forced to drive cars with unrealistic handling. :grumpy:
 
R92 ftw. Easy 5 laps on mediums. Just limited power to 800hp for better control. Took 2nd pit stop with 5 mins left.

905 with only one pit stop (albeit with some slowing down on the last lap to cross the finish line with 24:02 on the clock). I didn't realise the SRF was on, just felt like something was weird.
It's not the most fun of races, but with 20+ days to go and 800k+ to win, this could be a way to make some money without having to drive the Red Bulls...

Haven't had the time to run this yet so is this race dry start to finish?
