Nice. Always thought they were found in Military areas. Did you find them in the Industrial section of Cherno?



Btw, ARMA 2: CO is on sale on Amazon for $20 if anyone wants to grab a copy (download). I think it's on sale on steam too, but not 100 percent sure.
 
walker restarted the server and the tents and vehicles with items are still there! phew, ty walker.

@ Pebb: are you sure they arent binoculars lol? cause on wiki it says it only spawns in military camps unless you picked it up from a dead body or someone dropped them there which i doubt someone would, but if they are nice find! :P

Eitherway what name we choose i think we need we need to look to slip up teams. Team A and team B. I want to be in the Ateam lol.

I will think of a group name but as a placeholder i will say for now wolfpack
 
Sigh, first I didn't notice right away that I was bleeding when a zombie attacked me.
Then, when I went onto the hospital roof to find medical supplies, I stupidly fell of the roof in the dark. Good thing I just found some morphine I could use. Now down to less than 2000 blood, but stable.

I have the right supplies to hunt, but hard to find game in the dark.
 
CCO is at north, just saw it. M24 is there too, with lots of DMR/M24 and some stanag mags at south. Ammo is very low at north.

Team name suggestion.. I've been thinking but can't come up with anything good... Hoping that someone else does! Oh well here is a suggestion: Population Control (PC).

DustDriver: Someone can come meet you and give you a transfusion, just use the TS server and ask for help!

All: Server has been set to GMT +8 now so it should start getting light out around noon PST/1900 GMT. Although I have noticed that after a while the time gets all messed up - a known problem with Arma2 as far as I can tell. So I have set 2 auto restarts per day - at 4AM PST (1100 GMT) and 4PM PST (2300 GMT). There is no way for us to have auto messages at this time so the restarts occur without warning! Please be aware of the time.. If you don't disconnect before a restart, your gear/location might not be saved on the hive.

Note that after a restart, new heli crash sites are spawned. There are 3-6 spawned per restart in random locations (many are shown in www.dayzdb.com/map), but mostly in the north from NW airfield to Stary to Polana to Berezino.

Lol, I get an error when I try to connect to the TS server (no problems on public test server)
 
Hmm, a name... I can't think of anything better than Beans. I like Easy Company too (BoB was excellent after all). On the theme of inspirations from TV/film/games, what about:
Bravo Company (BF: Bad Company, we could have Able Company too if anyone does want to split up into two groups)

Fox/Foxhound/Cobra Unit (MGS, might be too 'on the nose'...)

It may be worth noting that the ':9988' bit should just be entered as '9988' in the 'port' box, just in case you weren't doing that already.
 
Our server was too dark when I connected and nobody on, so hopped onto an low people server.

Wanted to head to NEAirport, I have a toogle walk/run mapped, so I used it and watched TV at the same time. Well, I got massively lost.

I then head south and ended up at devils castle. :lol: talk about waking too far. I am now at the NEA, but no good loot. Disconnected. will hop on later on walkers server. Hope to find good loot, I need an NVG.

Later...

Dust, if you're too low on life and nobody in (i am way too far) respawn. With a bit of luck you will spawn a bit more up north
 
I took a little run above stary and novy. Found one heli crash by the long farm on the side of stary. It was already pitch black and then it started raining as I found the crash so it took me a little bit but I took a few walks around it and found a bison but it wasn't worth the grab atm with no ammo but I did find a DMR with two mags and we have more mags in the tents so that's a plus.

I would have grabbed the bison as well but I was using my FN Fal w/night vision to get around as well as a cco weapon just incase. No mags atm on me for the FN Fal because killerbeavis took the ones we had at the van and that's where I spawned in.

Be on either tonight or tomorrow. As for a clan name I am liking InterCorpse and Population Control (PC). I also like the idea of team names as well. Maybe get people trained in the armory and see where we can have people in dayz with over watch and infiltrating and then come up with team names? Just my two cents.

Also Killerbeavis and I where talking and I mentioned how I kinda of consider people are certain ranks in my head. ATM I have Stiggie at the top considering he made the clan then Walker because he is an awesome leader. After them I have killerbeavis because he is almost just as good at leading but very good at organizing us for attacks and infiltration even if he isn't right at the area we are.
Newt and I are next. I didn't think it would be fair for me to put myself before him considering hes been running with you guys just a little bit before I was finally able to have a day off and play with you guys.
Jamie and Ibo are after only because I haven't been able to play with them much yet and they are very good from what I have seen, honestly no offense to you two. lol Remember this in my head and not fact.
Michael and Blaze and Corner are next then the newbies. Idk lol take it as you will but I wouldn't mind a rank system with certain things considering not even just what I think. Watching everyone play we kind of already have one going without thinking about it.

Killer and I had bad luck with trying to get a coop armory going last night so mess around and see if you guys can start one and have others join.
We couldn't connect to each others lol but maybe if someone gets on going and posts on the forum for others to join?
Would be nice if we could get everyone more adjusted to the weapons they are using and then working on how we can infiltrate certain areas.
 
Ok I was killed the second I joined the server on the Nea.

We might have some people reading here or pure bad luck, either way, not gone post my position again... lost so many, respawned at cherno, run through it for like 30 min, wasn't even shot :lol: heading back

I take it Alice packs are something, that people will kill other humans for. Other then that, I saw another human earlier.

But I let him pass, because all he was looking for was food and drink.
 
I kill anyone I see. I wish I had a ghillie because I would just find a bush and let people do all the work for me :)

I am going people hunting when I get on later. Downloading a couple games from the Steam summer sale!

Also I like "Population Control."

I was in 1st BN 9th MAR "The Walking Dead" and was trying to remember some of the call signs we used to use but none came to mind. All I can remember is "Gunslinger" because that was the Sniper Plt that I was in for 2 years. But, I don't think that one fits the bill lol. I think I have a lot of them written down in field books with all my military crap. I would have to rummage through all my stuff in storage; if you want me to let me know. Otherwise I like "Population Control."

About separate teams. I suggest we vote for 2 people that'll be designated as team leaders. Alpha and Bravo. Teams will not be set. Team leaders choose team members randomly during any session/mission.

I nominate walker as Alpha team leader. And since i dont have much playtime with you guys, ill have Killerbeavis as Bravo Team leader (always see him online).

Oh I was only joking, but if I had to choose it would be The Willem Dafoes because the image of a squad where everyone has his bizarre face makes me laugh.

Also did a solo run late last night. Found an eingine part, scrap metal, and a rotor assembly at cherno. Unfortunately, it disappeared while i was sorting my newly found Alice.

Rest of my loot:
Camping Tent
3 blood packs
3 morphines
M16a2 w/ 4 Stanag mags (2 silenced)
AK74 w/ 8 mags
M1911 with 6 mags

Did run through Stary and encountered another player. I ussually dont shoot first, but considering what i already have in my pack, I did. I know i hit him but i think he disconnected right away. Didn't find any interestin weapons.

@ Zoo - any ideas/suggestions would be great 👍
