Well, now that it's been said......or the inadvertent sex-ed diagram that is the back of the F12.
{color=#F3F3F3}I wonder how long it will take for someone to paint a uterus on the back of the F12 Berlinetta.{/COLOR}
Again with this Viper nonsense.I'll admit that there are some classic Ferraris that are better looking than the 458. But, I meant in recent history, they've all been rather...ugly compared to the 458. And, to be honest, If I could afford a Ferrari, there are probably only 4 or 5 I'd have in my garage because the rest of the ones I'd want are WAY too expensive. But the first I'd buy would be the 458. The F12, in my opinion, is the inbred love-child of the SRT Viper and the Ferrari FF. Definitely not Ferrari's best "effort" if you can call splashing some FF styling cues on the Viper body effort. I'd actually rather have the Viper with the Ferrari V12. Even a Ferrari V8-powered Viper would be better than the F12. Just my opinion. I know it's blasphamous in the automotive world to call any Ferrari ugly, but hey, if every actor in hollywood HAS to star in at least one TERRIBLE movie, every car maker has to make at least one TERRIBLE car. But, it;s because of those failures that we have cars like the 458.
To me the best cars in this pack are the AMC, Hummer and maybe the Aston...but...I like Astons.
Agreed. Not gonna fall for that again.I wish I had held out on purchasing the Season Pass but given the track record for DLC with Forza I had very little reason to think otherwise.
Needless to say, I will not make the same mistake twice.
Lucky you! I just want my 50 bucks backI'm not bothered by the dlc packs partly because I have the season pass, but I only bought it because I won a $50 gift card to game stop and had nothing else to buy but MSP. Then when I got the points I had nothing to spend them on so I bought the pass lol. No impact to me
I understand some of you are unhappy with the the DLC's so far, we all want this and want that. FH will have many DLC's to come it is still early and I have enjoyed some of the cars in that past DLC. I'm a Ford guy so getting the Boss 302, Shelby 1000, and now add the Halo Raptor ( love Halo) and the Ford GTX. So to each his own and you never know you may enjoy driving one of these DLC cars. We can complain all we want here but if your not happy go to the FM forum and post in there what you want don't bitch about it just ask you never know. We also don't know all the in's and out's on what license contracts are they getting. The auto manufactureres could be the ones holding out on us.
Theres nothing worthwhile about these packs so far. A Raptor that has a paintjob.. really? are they so lazy that they added a car that they had to do nothing else to other then paint it? Also, again a car in game that is just a drop top version of it. They are getting ridiculous.. 2 packs in and I'm already willing to sell my game.
To be fair the raptor, which I agree is stupid, is a 7th car compared to the normal 6. Sort of a bonus as it were.
ah didnt know that, either way I still stand by the what I said about these packs are lacking. FM4 packs is what kept me coming back month after month, and the sheer amount of cars to tune. Driven all the cars in Horizon so far, and the packs are pushing me away rather then pulling me in.
Think about it this way, would you rather have them spending time making better dlc in Horizon? Or them spending more of their time developing FM5... The game that we're all really waiting for?
That's a poor way to look at it, and I'll explain why:
Take a look at FM4's DLC each month. It was, usually, almost all new cars to the series, with one or two facelifted versions of cars already in the game. It was fresh, and the strength of that DLC is an oft-quoted reason that many people bought the Season Pass for FH.
Yet we've had mostly decapitated current cars, or straight FM4 ports, so far. It's pretty disheartening, but it could be handled far differently. If they were actually working on new car models, not stripping out FM4 cars only to re-sell them to us, that would be developing content for FM5. It'd be more exciting, interesting DLC for FH, and we could also look forward to them being in the next Motorsports title.
I'd be less annoyed about all this if the shipping day car list wasn't so monumentally weak compared to FM4. Yes, we knew we'd be getting a cut-down list, and obviously all the race cars would be cut (oh wait, unless they have a prancing horse on the front), but there were talks of 200-ish cars, which required almost no extra work over including 400 cars. All of the assets were already made and available to Playground games; the fact they intentionally cut them out to sell them back to us leaves a sour taste in my mouth for what might come for FM5's DLC.
I almost gave my copy to my girlfriend's brother for Christmas. Depending on the rally expansion, I might follow Luminis' lead and trade it in. The problem with that being the people in charge won't ever see that; they already got my money.
That doesn't make much sense, though. T10 are the ones developing FM5, Playground Games are the ones running Horizon.Think about it this way, would you rather have them spending time making better dlc in Horizon? Or them spending more of their time developing FM5... The game that we're all really waiting for?
They've got two options, in my opinion:Think about it this way, would you rather have them spending time making better dlc in Horizon? Or them spending more of their time developing FM5... The game that we're all really waiting for?
I'm sorry, but there's a difference between being an optimist and being in denial. I mean no offense, but it sure seems like the latter is the case.I don't think it makes a whole lot of sense I'm just trying to be the only optimist here
