Hi all can somebody suggest a car for the fr seasonal event please? I have got gold on all the races except for the tokyo route 246 where my
86 gt '12 gets left behind and I finish 2nd, some 17s off the lead car.

You should probably check the thread on the seasonal event forum, there should be cars mentionned there. And a quick search will give you the best 500 pp cars, I've seen the question asked many times.

Bmw M3 Csl seem to be the most used 500pp car and always top positions.
If u dont have it try to master the premium NSX Type R its also one of the fast 500pp cars.

Try these:

BMW GTR
RUF RGT
Subaru WRX sti 10
LFA 10
Honda HSC
Lotus Elise 111R

and the 2 mentioned above.

I used Nismo Fairlady Z33 S-Tune'02 tuned to 500pp, it's quite good, as long as you are smooth, don't make mistake, should be easy win.

NOTE: this is a FR only race. Many of the cars mentioned above are either MR or RR endine cars. I did mine with the 86 GT '12 with no problems. I can send you a tune but I use a DS3.

Use the new Silvia from the Academy, loaded up it`s more than 500pp, detune it from there.
Just put mine on the track and @460pp, I got 595,000cr for the win.

If you could that would be awesome mate I use ds3 aswell. Its litrally for the 1 race, I won all the others by a canter. it just does'nt seem to work so well on this track

Could you post the tune? I would be interested as well.

Thanks

Sorry for the delay. It was on another account and I did that race the day it came out.
I just ran 5 laps on Sports Hard tires to see. Times 1st 1:58:692, 2nd 1:58:436, 3rd 1:58:271, 4th 1:57:887 & lap 5 @ 1:57:607. I hope this helps.

Suspension
RH -20 F&R
SR F 9.5 R 5.5
Dampers all 5
ARB 3 F&R
Camber 0.0 F&R
Toe F 0.10 R 0.20

Tranny
1st. 3.050
2nd. 2.097
3rd. 1.550
4th. 1.199
5th. 0.972
6th. 0.825
FG 4.560
Top Speed @174.
*note* gears have been changed after Top Speed was selected, otherwise you will end up with different ratios than I have listed.
LSD 5/20/5

*disclaimer* I tend to brake late as much as the tire selection will allow. I do use driving aids (SRF, TC, ASM & ABS @ 2) because of the DS3. I have seen others use it without aids and do better. I will race harder at the beginning of the race especially to nudge the roadblocks but I do try and run a clean race as much as possible. I am not the best driver out here but I play Gt5 for relaxation and not frustration.*

I just went to run the race and saw it was Sports Mediums so times would be at leat 2+ seconds faster.

I just went and ran Tokyo in the 500PP Seasonal with the tune listed above. Fast lap was 1:55:255 against the Shelby One.

@ DurWinning this is a Front engine Rear Wheel Drive race. You cannot enter any other vehicle than this drive train set up.

The RUF BTR.

I missed the "FR" part... so I say the 86GT

The RUF BTR.

In the OP it was stated fr 500PP seasonal. Take your BTR and try to enter the race. I just took one of mine at 460PP and was booted and the message clearly stated FR only. I don't know what other seasonal that others are looking at but you cannot enter the race with any car that doesn't have the engine in the front and the drive is to the rear wheels.

I saved a replay of my race with the 86 GT '12. If any of the others who have mentioned MR or RR vehicles please post a replay that you actually got into the race and won.

NOTE: I am not trying to be hard to get along with about the cars that other people have suggested that are not FR. I promise you I will not say it again. I don't know how to upload a replay but I do believe that the replay can be shared. Corrrect me if I am wrong.

While it is possible to share replays, you have to go through a very long process and send it to someone with a recording device so that they can record it for you.

On topic, the M3 great for 500pp races.

GT5 replay are region locked, a replay from US version - BCUSxxxx code on the box spine can only be viewed on the same US version GT5. If anyone with a recorder willing to take the replay, view and record it then upload it on the Youtube, than it's possible for everyone to see it.
