I'm wondering if you can take out Atheon on only one teleport on hard mode if you have 4 hunters with CH, a Titan Weapons of Light Bubble and the shield holder. Maybe possible to do it without a teleport. The gun will do 18k damage without weapons so add that up and you will be doing near 100k damage just from the super.

The Cabal DLC essentially. The least known of the 4 races and we will soon find out their powerful back story. This will be the time when one promised update will come and I am hoping a second update may actually occur. The promised update of a Solar Titan, Void Hunter and Arc Warlock will finally happen while there's a chance we may get private PvP lobby options.
 
Weapons of light doesn't buff supers. Plus the recharge time of the super when in times vengeance is quick, but not quick enough, so you will get more shots off with sniper and be doing 18k damage as well.

There is a video kicking around with 6 hunters all with the celestial and they took at least two teleports, I didn't watch it all as it was boring and I expected, like you for it to be over quickly.
 
Pro tip: Don't buy nothing manacles from Xur. I got my own which totaled 63/65. Compare that to his 43/68.
 
I got this rocket launcher called the ash factory. It looks pretty cool, and it has a black an green paint scheme, so i liked it. It only held 1 rocket, and had okay stats otherwise, so i wanted to roll it with tripod and tracking, and hopefully javelin to fix the slightly low velocity. I re-rolled it 95 times. 95. Not a single time did i get even tripod and tracking, let alone all three.


I hate RNG sometimes.

Rerolling is hit or miss (and mostly miss) for me as well. Yesterday I ran vog hard and crota normal. Here are my rewards:
1. Truth (3rd)
2. Thunderbird (3rd)
3. Epiloge (1st)
4. Vex (5th)
5. Light of the Abyss (1st)
 
Double Post but Update:

This week we have A CELL FROM THE... sorry, Dinklebot was yelling at me. Archon Priest as Nightfall. Red/blue burn and small arms and it does stack. Bring your Fatebringer, VoC or Vex and remember to use your Thunderlord wisely.
 
I am probably going to try and solo this nightfall for the first time ever. I will use fatebringer on my hunter, and vex on my Titan. If I can be bothered, I will just use my vex on my warlock too. Stuff heavy/special weapons, they are barely useful with small arms and burns :lol:

On a side note, I thought iron banner was supposed to start today, but I didn't see it there... Odd.

Be careful of everything though. Solar burn is best for the boss (as long as you avoid getting shredded by shrapnel) but vex are not fun.

I got one of these over the weekend. The reload speed is horrendous!! I rerolled it a couple of times and settled with a magwell(increases reload speed to a bit past half), zen moment(stability with dealt damage), and counterbalance.(increased stability)

I figured with its ridiculous reload speed and stability that those would be the most useful for me. With Chain of Woe on my hunter, it reloads ridiculously fast.

There's also a perk that lowers the reload speed in favor of range :lol: Afterwards, the bar is barely a sliver. I want to try it out just to time how slow it actually is.

There's one that someone found that has near zero stability and a perk allowing you to further lower it. I assume you shoot the gun once and manage to either drop it or fling it across the room.

:lol: That's just ridiculous. Trying to level up the weapon took some patience. Mid-fight reloads where life or death situations every time. The impact and damage are great, but with the reload speed it essentially renders it useless, unless you get some sort of reload perk in there.

I believe Bungie is referring to the glitch where we could get loot multiple times from a single chest by leaving the area and returning before the timer ended. Legit farming should still be available.
 
You can still farm easily. Just do multiple chests. It's actually better this way.

I did lvl 34 the other day for the first time, and that servitor boss was astonishingly simple. We went in not knowing what we were doing, and we just shot at the boss untill he died, expecting him to heal up when we got him low, thinking that killing the important target would stophim from being to heal himself. So yeah, we just leasurely killed him, but then we didn't realize the important target was still there, and we dies because of that. We treid it again, and it was a cakewalk. Odd.
 
I need to try 34 or 35 tonight or this weekend. I heard that compared to 32 it's easy for this week.
 
Very irritating to play nightfall with someone you do not really know and doesn't have any desire to use a microphone or be aware of her settings. Just locked my fireteam so she doesn't join in and insist to do nightfall after repeatedly doing that.
 
Well, I did lvl 35 PoE, and it was pretty intense. It could have ended about 50 times during the skolas fight, but we managed to do it. Upon killing him, I got the eder scypher, and so did the other two (one of them got two at once!) So yeah, that was fun. I had a key, and so did one other guy, but the last guy had been trying to get one for ages and one wouldn't drop. Luckily he got one from the small chests!

So yeah, we got really damn lucky! :lol:
