Also, now that were on the subject of destiny, and since we know that you always have something to gripe about in this game, what about the taken king, apart from the weapon balancing, do you dislike, eh? Just want something to discuss, and you seem to have a completely different outlook on things to me. :mischievous:

I actually don't dislike anything about The Taken King itself. I was actually pretty damn excited after seeing the trailer (I must've watched the E3 trailer a dozen times just to hear "His name is Oryx, The Taken King..." and the music), it's the pricing – although I forget how much the upgrade is – and that absolutely stupid interview with Luke Smith when everything began to really fall apart.

Just for the record, I thought Luke was a smug, arrogant asshat long before that interview. The question is: can I be won over again? It's incredibly unlikely to happen in September that's for sure but I won't rule it out entirely.

I have all of them, but none are as good as that roll. my LBN is 101 Strength. The other two are like 2 points lower. Still, none can rival my 135 Intellect Glasshouse or my 75 I/70 S Obsidian Mind.

OK, that's good to hear. I was waiting to go on a 'how the hell can you not think that this could be the best thing ever' tangent, but I guess i don't need to.


But about Luke smith... you really find him that bad? Yeah, he is an arrogant asshat, but he is also pretty funny. Kind of like... Jeremy Clarkson? Sort of? All i know is, I think everyone over-reacted to that interview.

The pricing on the other-hand doesn't effect me at all. Considering my ~500ish hours put into this game, and potentially even more than that, its pretty cheap if you ask me. If i buy a $60 game like, say, Tomb-raider (great game), i play it for at max 20 hours and stop. $40 for a minimum of like 100 hours is excellent.
 
I still don't think they will just completely leave the un-announced ones behind. I am pretty sure they plan to something with them...

Gjallahorn will be toast. Many weapons, like Truth and Suros, will be elevated.
 
Hah, the new ghost sounds like a mix between Guilty spark and whatever Peter Dinklage was supposed to make him sound like. :lol:
