Wow, So I was cashing in a load of engrams earlier from a vanguard Tiger playlist run and I had two special weapon engrams that gave me each a Rare fusion rifle! One more to go. May not have to wait for the gunsmith afterall.
 
Had a really weird session on Destiny last night. I changed my Warlock Bond and emblem and all of a sudden loot crates all over the shop packed to the rafters with goodies (granted no purple) but tons of blue and spinmetal.

Also tons of enemy drops too! Weird.
 
So I've got all the rare fusion rifles. Working on the 200 nightfall kills now. Sadly I've only got a lvl 18 green solar to do it with. :( looks like I'm still waiting for the gunsmith just in hope I can get a better one or at the very least a void one due to the the nightfall modifier.
 
Leveled my 2nd character a titan up to 20 today. I instantly gave him all legendary gear and the exotic chest plate and moved him right up to a 26. I've got over 50 shards just waiting to level him up with. I should have him at 29 in no time.
 
How are people on GTP getting shards? Dismantle legendary armour? Doing raids, daily heroic or nightfalls?

Curious minds want to know. I'm having a hard time at the moment getting enough to level my Legendary stuff.

Pretty much this and public events. It's a slog, but has to be done.

Thought as much. I've been doing the daily public events when I'm on and I've had a few shards from that.

I tried to do the daily heroic tonight a few times but my weapons suck so I gave up at this time. I'll see what I can get done tomorrow between baking sessions. I think I may need to start enlisting help from you guys to help with some stuff. My only issue is finding time to play.
 
Is there anyone I can add for help on the weekly heroic/nightfall strikes? I can't seem to get them done on my own.

I think certain bands offer increased odds of loot and such. Should be a list on the wiki.

I'm in, I'm away from home this weekend but would be up for it during the week.
 
@Bonio71 thanks for joining me and the other guy, we really needed to do that Strike to get our Exotic weapon bounty on it way. The guy I was playing with is a friends husband who I've never met, he was very happy as he's had difficulty doing it.

@dhandeh thanks for the invite doing some strikes. You made it look easy and I was no help at all, my weapons are horrid things and deal no damage at all. I'm working on that though so hopefully next time I'll be more of a help than a hindrance.

You know I am. I'll have experience too (although it's really a lot easier than you might imagine), and I don't want to speak too loudly for him, but I'd bet @dhandeh would be down to help as well (where we'll probably be referred to as "the two 29's" again :lol: )

So I jump back on like an hour or so later and decide to do some strikes and the first one up is The Summoning Pits and I'm doing my thing quickly dispatching the Knights before you get into the first "respawning restricted" zone and this other Titan on a sparrow comes back and decides to "teach me a lesson" for not speeding ahead with them - long story short, I left them high and dry.

Next two people I'm partnered with were nothing but fun - two other titans and we stayed together for 5 or 6 strikes just running through them and punching everything in our way (when we got to the Dust Paalce we literally punched every single Psion Flayer into a deceased heap of dust) and we'd dance after every single victory. The most fun I've had in the game to date, so a big thank you to whomever that bellend was, had it not been for him/her I wouldn't have quit and found those two. :lol:

After @Bonio71 left I ran the nightfall will 2 friends and like our earlier try we all died when there was about 2mm worth of yellow on the final boss, not amused!

But yeah I'm in for the vault this week, I'll be on for abit Mon/Tue/Thurs but Wednesday would be best for me as I'll have 3/4hrs worth of time available that night

I think we have a team - Viper, Clark, Priestly_lfc, dandeh and me. So we just need to organise a date and time.I'm on every evening till the early hours in the morning.

I don't get a lot of time to play but I'll holla when I'm next on, sorry if you were trying to voice chat, I could hear either you or the other guy talking but I couldn't answer back unless the PSeye was putting sound out to you.

With everyone sayng that clear comunication is a must for VOG and others then I may invest in that PSheadset thing.

So, for now, and i'm sorry to do this, i'll call off tonight's raid. I'm still highly interested in doing it though if we can get enough people to do it ;)
 
Just did Nightfall again (thanks @Bonio71, much appreciated for the help) with my Hunter and got No Backup Plans... the gauntlets I wanted the first week Xur showed up.

Really makes up for my solo "here, have 10 strange coins" run. :D
