Just did Nightfall again (thanks @Bonio71, much appreciated for the help) with my Hunter and got No Backup Plans... the gauntlets I wanted the first week Xur showed up.

Really makes up for my solo "here, have 10 strange coins" run. :D

I think you would have been fine, with your self resurrecting Hunter. I may have to start a new character as I have maxed marks for the week and competed all weekly and heroic missions. Can anyone confirm if you run the nightfall twice with the same character, you only get rewards on the first playthrough.

@Priestly_lfc - thanks for the heads up regarding previous post. Hope I got this one right!

Warlocks have the self-resurrecting perk. :p

And yes, you only get rewards on the first playthrough.
 
I just started a Hunter finally. It's okay. I prefer Titan (although probably because I have double maxed it).

One last thing though, it's priesty_lfc, think you keep adding a l.... :)

I've considered starting a different character but with project cars due I didn't think I'd have the time to put into it, now that's delayed I might do it.

I did just dismantle a load of exotic and legendary titan gear tho.....

I'm thinking of starting a warlock, you up for levelling up a new character during the week?

With regard to the raid, Wednesday is fine with me.

Is Wednesday ok for Viper, Clark, Dhandeh, if so what time would be good for you all?

As Viper and Dhandeh are level 29 you two can be our guide, if that's ok.

@ Terronium-12 - I could of swore I saw your self resurrect at some point during the nightfall strike.

I think you may have saw me use Bladedancer before the Captain smacked the life out of me. :lol:
 
As long as we are done by 10.30 Pm BST, Wednesday is Ok with me. Can't be up late on a school night.
 
I forgot to mention I got The Truth rocket launcher from a legendary engram the other day. Was plenty suprised and decided to use that instead of my Invective.

I started a Titan this weekend as my almost level 28 warlock was getting a bit boring, and I am definitely enjoying the change. It also brings a bit of fun back into the game.

Also, if any of my Xbox friends have the time, I recommend checking out my latest video. Its of me and a friend, and some random. While doing a co-op mission we came across a public event to kill the captain before he reaches the last way point.. We literally punched him to death, and man was it hilarious.
 
I should be okay for wednesdays, up until about 9pm.
 
Hello guys...

I received an invite from a Belgian friend last friday night, and guess what, I landed right at the beginning of a raid... which was absolutely not in my plans that night. One of the guys had connection problems and gave up as he was kicked to orbit every 2 minutes.

Although a complete noob at doing the raid, my valiant Warlock stood up, strictly obeyed orders and took her share of the joint efforts.

We completed the raid in just 1 hour and 30 minutes, in which I only died... 6 times (:eek:), not too bad for a first go. And the brand new Raid chest armor I got (alongside a Sniper Rifle with Void Damage and many Ascendant Shards) made me reach Level 29.

Plus I completed my first Exotic bounty (I received the Bad Juju but I'm not sure I'll use it much, I don't like pulse rifles) and started another Exotic bounty ("A dubious task")...

A good week-end finally. :D

Next target : More raids to try to get other armor pieces and reach level 30.

No worries, it's surprising how many people do the same tbh!

Looks like it's Wednesday then, I'll be on from 5.30-6ish so we should have plenty of time.

Re the new character I'm probably gonna leave it tbh mate, I'm happy rock my current dude and I'll just continue to level up all my weapons :)

Plus I need to finish an exotic bounty in the crucible!

I'm normally home between 5.30 and 6pm. So Wednesday anytime after 6 is good for me.

Wow that's an insanely lucky first time raid run.
 
Sorry that I didn't jump on with any of you this weekend. I spent the weekend mostly leveling up a alt character and a bunch of wasted time on crucible to unlock Bad Juju.
I will make sure to get on with you guys I added at some point.

I've decided to fully upgrade my Hunter to get the trophy and then delete and start a second Titan. Life would be easier if I wasn't a trophy whore then I wouldn't have to suffer through leveling the Hunter but it is what it is. For now I'm 2 shards from a level 29 Titan, a 19 Warlock, and a 13 Hunter.

I heard they are going to make VoG even harder come Tuesday by eliminating any possibility of Atheon (or any other boss) falling off a level due to grenades/melee and also that it will teleport 3 random players, not 3 set players based on position.

It took an age to go back to orbit, I was just at the point of turning off the PS4 when it started again.
 
Hey guys! I’ve been looking for people to play with and just today noticed that there was a thread here. Is there a GTP clan or something I can join? I have no one to play raid or weekly strikes with. I have a 27 Hunter with both sub-classes maxed and also I’m leveling a Warlock now.

Think there is a clan although not sure how many people are in it /who runs it.

Most people just arrange stuff through the thread, what console are you on?

Think we're planning a raid on Wednesday evening on PS4.....

I got a legendary Engram that turned into 2 shards! What a disaster!
 
Only managed to get the TV for 15mins :(

Did the Daily (2 Energy) and 1 public event (1 shard) so finally managed to upgrade my raid gauntlets but still need a further 7 shards for it to be fully upgraded!

How is the nightfall?
