neema_t's strategy is just perfect. It takes time but it works just fine. We did this last night.

But I should add a few tips:
You'll need one player with solar weapons for the Wizards (a Warlock with an arc weapon and sunsinger grenades is good), and another player with arc weapons (a fusion rifle or machine gun will do) for the blue-shielded Knights.

And the 3rd player, remaining out of the room (before it) providing support with grenades and primary weapons and to revive the other two in the last phase, because as the Wizards and Knights enter the room, a Shrieker will spawn behind you at regular intervals and might kill you with cross-fire...
And it would be stupid to be kicked in orbit at that moment.

I've just seen that Xûr is selling the Suros Regime this week-end. Is this rifle good? I need something better than my Shadow Price and, above all, I want to replace that horrible Bad Juju (I hate pulse rifles).

Yes the suros regime is great. Its the best primary I've used by far. Nothing else is even close and I've had about all the exotics and legendary primaries. Its great in both the story and crucible. Since getting it I haven't found anything to take is place.
The only time I don't use it is in the raid if my partner doesn't have a good void weapon because I have the raid atheon auto rifle that does void damage and I'll use it to knock down shields for void enemies.

Another strategy in this regard is to clear out the enemies, unchain Phogoth, and make a run for the rock on the far left side and take cover behind that; the mobs won't bother you and you'll be able to pick off Phogoth with relative ease*.

*It may turn and walk away every now and again but don't worry about chasing after it.

I was told that like Sepiks and Tau'ric, there is a spot where you can shoot him, he can't target you and no enemies spawn.

Ugh, I need Arc and Sunslinger fusions. I only have snipers of them.

So me and a friend did the weekly heroic strike it was easier than I thought and got 10 vanguard marks along with 400 reputation .

I spent all day grinding to level 27. The Vault of Glass looks hard. For anyone who has done it should I max out to 30 to be prepared? I'm a Titan by the way

Nope... 27 will be OK. I did my first raid at that level and all went fine. But make sure you use a fully upgraded legendary primary weapon. You'll need it.
And bring weapons that deal Void damage...

Crap I don't see any way I will obtain enough to get it this weekend since I have way too much going on. Missed out again!

As I don't have the Raid auto-rifle (thanks to my legendary luck I got a Sparrow), I'll take the Suros Regime then.

I'm going to be picking up a Vanguard weapon today as I should have enough points, but what is a good Legendary to purchase from them? I was thinking of getting some sort of hand cannon, but I think I'm getting sick of them so now I'm leaning towards the scout rifle as it seems to suit me best. Someone had recommended me one to purchase before, but it was so long ago that I forgot.

I got my first Legendary weapon in an engram. It was a scout rifle and I've found it to be pretty good so far. It's an A.1F19X-Ryl

It depends which ones you get. Some can be rushed in places, as you don't need to kill every enemy. The nexus one can be done in 10 minutes easy.

Nexus and Ta'uric can be done quickly. So can Sepiks Prime. I DON'T think the other 3 can be done that fast.

They sell 2, I have the other one. Proxima Centauri II. Its great but id reccomend the shadow price auto rifle its probably the best legendary auto rifle except for the arc damage one from the raid.

On the topic of fast strikes. I've been doing the dust palace very fast recently. With my setup I can actually blow the flayers over the rails. I blew two off earlier. I use a striker titan and truth rocket launcher. The dust palace is very fast to get to the boss fight but the boss fight can take a while if the people your with don't concentrate on one flayer at a time. If you blow them over the rails. Its over pretty quickly.

Each to there own, If you like the feel of scout rifles go for It, I really like my vanguard scout. There are two types of auto rifles blazing ROF, really low impact buzzsaws like Doctor Nope(vanguard) and Unvanquishing Soul-09(dead orbit) and slower-medium rate of fire Autos that have low recoil but keep a respectable impact and range. Shadow Price, Shingen E or suros regime for example. A legendary Scout Rifle is very still very effective though so id say go for it if that's what you prefer.

Sorry for he double post but I need some advice. I've just got my second choice of three Exotic bounties. Its the poorer three to choose from. Juju, Invective and Thorn. Which should I pick? I have the last word exotic hand cannon. I feel I won't use the shotgun and Juju. Well that's juju lol. Any suggestions?

Btw, just did a few tiger strikes and first hand saw someone get the hawkmoon..........lucky [censored]
