Nothing, nobody was online but me and you. I grouped up with some guys from the Destiny app. We are trying again tonight around 11 EDT. I will try to make sure there is a spot for you.
 
What an... experience that was. If it weren't for the bugs it would actually be rather manageable. :lol:

I can hold my own, you know, so long as a Praetorian isn't slapping me to death, or a Hob one-hit sniping me.

Or if I had a primary I was comfortable enough with that isn't a handcannon. Hawkmoon pulls it own, but it can only do so much with the magazine size it has.
 
I'm level 23, can not be bothered with the required grind. It's even worse than some f2p games :\

It was pretty apparent about 15 minutes in that it just wasn't going to happen. Too many glitches, issues, and then bad runs. Hopefully they patch some of the issues and we are a stronger after normal raid this week. I will pray to the RNGesus for the chest piece I need for 30 and Vision of Confluence. 2 titans and warlock run to make it happen with this week.

Oh and I reckon I'll start a warlock too this week/weekend so if you wanna start your titan? too we can try and get through as fast as possible?

That's Ok with me.
Things to do this week, Nightfall and weekly 28 with 29 warlock.
Nightfall, weekly and daily 28's with my 27 hunter, to get the weapon xp up. His armor xp is already there, just need shards and mats.
Start the titan with @priesty_lfc.

Should be good for two raids this week, hopefully my luck will change.
As for the Nightfall, its Valus Tar'ruc with no element modifiers. So pack those icebreakers.

Got my second character Warlock upto level 27, but need shards and a legendary helm or chest as I have exotics for both.

@dhandeh, @priesty_lfc can I join you guys as I would like to start a hunter also to complete the set.

Busy week ahead on Destiny, hope to get a raid in at some point

Sounds good to me, I won't have PS4 access until Thursday now so we can maybe start then, but ideally I'd like to do the nightfall/weekly Thursday pm if not I'll be on allday sat and sun (love it when my Mrs is on the weekend shift!) :)
 
Well after a month of playing destiny I can finally say I'm bored of it doing the same missions over and over again. I've spent hours on it each day and the other day I just didn't feel like playing it :(. I guess I got burnt out.

Same happened with me. Was truly hoping the dlc would bring more life into the game but it just didn't happen. Was also really hoping they would ditch the 3 player co-op and add at least 4 player co-op or allow 6 friends in the free roam. Was also hoping they would put out something for the campaign every week or at least every couple weeks. Similar to the Spartan ops in Halo 4. Something to look forward to every week would have added a lot of life to this. Destiny needs a lot of work, and will eventually get there. Unfortunately that time is too late for me. This is the beginning of what will probably eventually be a truly great game.
 
Well it has been almost two months for me and still I’m not bored of it, but I’m quite irritated with the lack of content. It just needs more things to do, but seeing what the first DLC will include chances are that not much will change. They need to add more stuff more frequently as it is obvious that people are losing interest. Still I enjoy logging every day and doing some stuff that gets me closer to my goals. Also there is the quite good PVP section of the game, that I’ve barely touched, and I think I’ll at least try to improve my skills enough to enjoy it.

I put a bit of time in pvp but it only made me frustrated after a while I guess I could learn from my mistakes but instead I decided to do the strike missions which I had fun in. The only thing I need to do now is the raid but it's hard enough to find 6 people who can be on at the same time to do it with.

I agree 100%. If they had just added a little each week for the campaign or at least something it would have kept people more interested. I honestly, truly, thought the first dlc would be at least 4 more strikes. 1 per planet. THAT would have kept my attention. The reef just basically sits there and does nothing. Its really a wasted resource for the game.

I also don't care much at all for the PVP mp. Simply no balance at all in the mp and I just don't enjoy it. I find it very boring very fast. So basically if I have more than 3 friends on I either try to set up for the raid, or play multiplayer. But if friends are too low of a level for the raid then all that is left is vs mp. There is simply nothing else to do if you have 4 friends or more on at a time. :dunce: Destiny really needs some sort of 4 player co-op mode or even a 6 player co-op mode for strikes or for free roam.
 
The only advantages people might have in PVP would be the perks on the weapons/armor they have. Either way, there has only been one instance where I saw someone that was not around my level on my team, and he actually rocked everyones socks off on the enemy team, so I dont think its that big a deal.

EDIT: He was level 11.

Use it in PvP. It's just about the best thing ever. I've taken down a Mythoclast-wielding Titan with some well-placed shots. It's ridiculous.

Are there plans for a raid this week? I may be available to help out. I need about 10,000 XP on my 19 Titan and I will have 2 lvl 29's and a 28 ready to raid. I have to think positive about a raid chest and/or helmet for the Titans.
 
I'm game for another normal run. I do want my gauntlets, Vision of Confluence, and Corrective Measure.
 
We're planning to go on Friday I think.

Suros Regime, Corrective measure, Praedyth's Revenge and Raid Boots from one complete raid (Done in 45 mins) and another one upto atheon. Also got Skull of Dire Ahamkara from the Nightfall, probably my most productive day on Destiny!

It's more a case of lying to myself. Raid helm, raid chest, Vision of Confluence, mythoclast. Those are going to be my winnings for the week.

Oh no, I've seen what you happen to get all the damn time and I'm very jealous.

I like to pretend its not real though, and continue on with my luck(total lack thereof) and think that things like that just dont happen. Makes me feel a little better.

Secretly, I'm lying. Just last week I was damning the game because it gave me 7 strange coins, that I did not need, for beating the nightfall. I think that same night I came back to read all the wonderful goodies you happened to receive around the same time. :banghead:
 
I wish there some kind of cross platform usage. I'd be so much better off being of use instead of having to be support fire more than anything else.

It's a little on the weird side leading a group when I'm so poorly equipped on the One version. :lol:
