Secretly, I'm lying. Just last week I was damning the game because it gave me 7 strange coins, that I did not need, for beating the nightfall. I think that same night I came back to read all the wonderful goodies you happened to receive around the same time. :banghead:

So I said this yesterday... What sucks is that I did the Nightfall last night, and all I got was a legendary engram for some gloves.. I would much rather have the 7 strange coins again :(

Should be up for the weeklies on both characters and the Nightfall on my 27 hunter. Probably about 8pm GMT.

That will be fine, it is unlikely I will do all of them tonight. Will definitely have the nightfall and heroic 28 to do tomorrow.
 
OK tomorrow is fine. 8 GTM today is too late for me anyways. I’ll be online about 18:00-18:30GTM tomorrow if that is OK with you.
 
That is ok with me. The wife is at college, so I will be online from 6pm to about half 9.

So I did the Nightfall yesterday with @dhandeh and @Bonio71 (as I was in no real frame of mind to do it myself, I think I'm reaching that point with Destiny) and, well, I ended up with this...

I forgot to mention that brings my exotic weapon total to 11 12. I have Super Good Advice twice; one for my main Titan, and the other for my Hunter.
 
Some say there was a mysterious fourth man helping with that strike...

How can I restart Destiny from complete scratch as if it's never been played? I let a friend of ours try it before I even installed it, she made me a female character!!! I can't find the gamesave to delete it and restart.

I can't remember for positive but when you're at the select character screen I believe there's an option there for deleting the character if you hover over the player card. Also looking online some people are saying you have to make 2 before you can delete one.
 
Anyone want to help me with the weekly and nightfall. This will be my first nightfall too. I'm available tomorrow or Sunday.
 
Is there a difficulty setting? I'm absolutely awful at shooters and would really like to enjoy this game. I need a nOob setting!

There is no universal difficulty setting as far as I know. But each story mission can be set on different levels. As long as you're the same level as the enemies or higher it will make it much easier. The best way to get experience and level up when you start out is get to level 4 so you can start doing bounties.👍

When first starting you just start at normal, however you can select the level of which the enemies spawn at. So say your mission is a level 8 mission, it'll give you the option to select level 10, 12, or 14 enemies. Anything selected after level 8 would be hard mode.

Strikes selected from the inidividual planets are set levels, I dont remember them exactly though, but as you progress through each planet, the strike for said planet will be a higher level then the one from the previous planet. The exception to this is the Vangaurd Strike Playlist. You can select multiple player levels, the max being 24 and the lowest being 18 I believe. Although, you dont get to select which one you are playing, its all random.

Raids are the hardest thing you'll encounter in the game, and they are set as pretty much an end-game mission.

That said, the first few levels you achieve will be a bit hetic, but as you progress and get better gear it becomes pretty easy. If you can, always go for headshots!

The strikes (Daily, Weekly, playlist) can all be set higher if wanted. The main story increases difficulty as you go along. It's actually quite generous is terms of helping noob players like me. I suck at FPS in console as I've always been a PC FPS player.

But due to its kid gloves attitude towards gamers it makes for an enjoyable game, some gamers have cried out for it to be made more difficult!

@dhandes & @priesty_lfc sorry to rage quit like that yesterday, but I got really pissed off at the game. I deal with all kinds of crap at work and in life in general and do without worrying too much, but when a game that is supposed to be fun and relaxing fxxx me for no reason I sometimes snap.

@GTP_Sprite since I did not finish the weekly heroic yesterday, we can do it today if you want. For the nightfall we will surely need some help. BTW is the reward form nightfall once a week or you can do it multiple times and still get stuff?

Thanks for the alt Nightfall run @Terronium-12. I thought hard raid was going well tonight, just need more time and a refined strategy like we were starting to figure out.

My positive affirmation thoughts have not on raids/nightfall/Xur the past couple weeks.:indiff:
 
I knew it'd be Truth when I put these pieces together:

1. Xur has sold Red Death twice.
2. Xur has sold Suros Regime twice.
3. RNG is stupid.
